Worst customer service ever! I had to print out a resume I had made an order online. I get there the guy tells me sorry it won't be ready until tomorrow? I was like okay fine can I get a refund then? He couldn't give me an answer whatever I ended up just using the self service printer never using online ordering here again waste of money! just a bunch of unhelpful employees. read more

Highly RUDE! My wife and I had bought a rack for hanging files in a drawer and had bought an extra pack of folders. However the rack came with folders so the extra package was not needed. So we went to try and return. We understand all the hype about covid, and there was no posting on the front about the no return policy. The manager was incredibly rude about it, and when confronted about it, the lady was even rider and acted like she didn't care. After we return this we will never be back again and take our business elsewhere!! read more

Sadly Yelp requires at least one star. My opinion is NO STAR! A while back I was traveling in my Jeep and it seriously overheated. I made it to the parking lot of this Office Depot (Denton-begind the mall) and ask the cashier if I could make an emergency call since I had forgot my cell phone at home. She looked up my garage for me, dialed the number and handed the phone to me. While nervously looking around the store she said "please make it quick". Just as I was about to give my location to the garage so they could dispatch a tow truck up stormed a menacing, obese, unkempt, poorly dressed and scruffy man who insisted that I give him the phone "immediately". I tried to explain that I had an emergency and was just about through with my call. He demanded the phone "NOW!!" and threatened to call the police. I said "call them". Further words were exchanged but I gave him the phone immediately. As a professionally trained psychiatric professional with 40+ years experience I feared for my safety from this individual acting very deranged. I haven't been back, and do not intend to ever shop at an Office Depot again but by reviewing all the other reviews here and being a retired executive if this were a store in my region under my responsibility this manager would not be on my team. I have never been teated with such disrespect, observed a person devoid of human capacity for caring and a manager who would threaten a client, patient or customer for no good reason. Unbelievable, we bought a case of OD copy paper which is normally $49.99 online including shipping, but because we bought it in the store, we were charges $88 for the same case. The manager would not refund the double charge and said I had to call corporate. Corporate called the store to get the refund. We'll see. Completely a criminal act to double charge a customer. Managers solution was to come back to the store and he would match the online price. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That's what most people have time when working to run around and not receive any customer service. Am I mad? Yes!!! read more

I would have given negative stars if that were possible. I was looking for an office chair. While I quickly identified a chair, no one seemed to want to help me. I sat in the chair for 30 minutes while 4 employees walked past me without even so much as a hello. Finally a young girl almost past me bit came back and asked me if I needed help. She scanned the chair and said it was the last one. Checked with her manager and said I could buy that one for an extra $12 assembly fee for the open box chair since they would have to order a replacement chair and reassemble it for their floor model. She proceeded to tell me that normally the customer just orders it and waits for 2 -3 day service to get their product. Really disappointed that I waited for 30 minutes being ignored only to learn they upcharge their customers for open box items. I wont return! read more

Definition of unhelpful. Needed to change my pickup location because I live 2 hours away and was told that I could come in for a refund. Why would I be able to come in for a refund if I can't come in for my pickup? Maybe they should hire people with education above a third grade level. I visited the store today to buy supplies for a meeting. I spoke with three staff members. They all seemed like they had a bad night. Two of them I had dealt with previously with the same experience. They act like a customer should know what they know. Then why does the store need to pay you to treat their customers like we are stupid. read more

I would give them a zero if that was an option. I have noticed the decrease in service at this location in the printing dept. I went there today and waited for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged my existence let alone waited on me. I finally got frustrated and asked the girl if I could get waited on as there were three employees and no other customers in line. She said she would get someone but was more concerned that I sign up on the computer which I did not understand as I was the only one in line. She never asked anyone to help me so I left and went to Fed Ex where it was a totally different experience. They greeted me as soon as I entered the store, were friendly and professional. had my needs met in a timely manner and the experience was great. By far the cleanest, organized store layout and awesome customer service! Greeted upon entering asked if we needed help as we were shopping. Then told us thanks for stopping by! This store puts all other office depots to shame. I walked in and was like wow where am I. Signage in the store was so easy read. I love the open lay out. Felt like I was at best by LOL. Items seem pretty stocked and even though there were no customers but us. The employees were all working organizing stocking. To bad this is an hour away. Also clearance is known for clearance items and not just discounted items. read more
