I was desperate to print out a pdf sewing pattern that wasn't responding to my attempts to do it at home. Took it to this local Office Depot. It was quite busy, though a manager was efficient at directing customer to this direction or that. I went to the printing station. Mari helped me immediately. She was thorough, and worked for more than 10 minutes trying to get the item printed -- all to no avail. In some ways I felt redeemed that it wasn't just my faulty gray cells not working, there' s something wrong with the print instructions. If it's important to get a print job done on time, don't trust this Office Depot to do the job. They don't appear to ever have someone behind the print desk, and don't have orders done within the time frame that you were given. Just 30 copies of two very important documents and they can't guarantee me they will be done within 36 hours of placing the order. Why do I bother? If you have a print shop, and advertise yourself as a place to get business done, then staff your counter. read more

After checking the website to confirm what time the store closed; it said 9:00pm and I drove 20 minutes to pick something up; all the other stores listed 8pm as their closing time. You ever wonder why Office Depot is closing down in most states? Go try this one and you know ! They have 2 self copying machines one is not available, in the area is a tiny folding table at the window where you can set your things , it's small and inconvenient, no pens , no scissors, no supplies but a big paper cutter that blocks half of that table. I m here at 10.45 am cleary nothing was cleaned at night cut paper everywhere and the floor filthy. The employees are lack luster . 2 Registers have a light on one person is here serving both ? My favorite part is when they ask if you would like to be part of their reward program, I declined happily and told them that they are broke in the state I live in. i went in today 12-06-21 at 6:30pm. and an Office Depot employee, a woman, with a beard, she racially profiled me, and it was very uncomfortable. She came into the aisle pressed us and asked if we found everything okay. Then began scanning items all around the area we were trying to shop to the point she made us uncomfortable and we left. As soon as we walked out of the aisle she left the aisle as well. It was obvious she must have believed I was trying to steal based off the way that I may look. i am a Latino male. Its not fair. I placed an online order tonight at 5:01 p.m. and selected 1-hour store pickup, not realizing that after 5 p.m. you have to wait until morning to get your items. I called the store because I really needed the items right away and was routed to the manager, who was kind and efficient in helping me out. One of the items I had purchased was actually out of stock (even though I had called earlier to confirm its availability with another store associate) and the manager was able to replace the item with a comparable solution. Not really sure how much that all is supposed to cost, seemed a little expensive for me but they did a fast and great job. Alas with the merger of the depot and the max something had to give and the nice, shiney, happy, office max over in northfield was the one that got the axe, which left this offering to those on this side of town. When i walk in it feel dingy and dirty. I needed 3 different kinds of things - a paper cutter (to purchase), special size badge stickers that peel off, and hopefully a special thing to make the cuts you see on badges. The staff was hit or miss, one helper was happy to help us find the paper cutters, the one we asked about the hold punch was annoyed that we had stopped him. The check out was minimally manned - but it was a Thursday night. And when i had to come to return the paper cutter i was so excited about but it turned out to cut for poop, i had to join into the purchase people line, kind of confusing... It is what it is, and i'll continue to shop here when i need the last minute stuff, but i'm saddened that the merger left such meager offerings. read more

This location of Office Depot seems to have what I'm looking for most of the time when I stop by. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a useful place to buy office supplies. The service has been hit or miss over the years, but seems to be on an upswing lately. No more spaced out cashiers who look right through you when you ask them how they are doing. No more missing in action floor staff when you need to know where the padded mailing envelopes are located. No more snarky IT wannabe's trolling the electronics department with a ready quip about how what you're looking at just isn't cool enough. Nope. No more of that, thankfully. This Office Depot refused to print a poster stating it was offensive. The poster said "ban bump stocks". As of tomorrow it will be against the law to own or possess bump stocks in Denver so the poster was not graphic and simply stated support for a law that saves lives. The manager informed me that it is their corporate policy that they cannot print anything that could be political or offensive. I don't know what could possibly be offensive about saving lives.. I thought their job was to be a print shop and provide the service of printing and not to decide what can be printed. Will definitely not be going back to the store ever. read more

Over the years, I have tried to buy things at Office Max and it always seems to go the same way. First, you can't find what you are looking for because the store is poorly organized, the signs are no help at all. Goods seem to be distributed at random. Second, asking the employees (who by the way actively avoid customer interaction) is a complete waste of time. Typically, you get a response like "I think it is over there somewhere." Terrific help. Lastly, when you finally get the thing you came for - in my case simple things like paper, pencils, blank DVDs, it takes FOREVER to get checked out of the store. The first problem is getting a clerk's attention or figuring out which line is actually being serviced. The clerks go out of their way to avoid customers and this is a pattern I have seen in EVERY Office Max store I have been to. Today, no exception. Hard to find a a box of sheet covers. Then stood in line for almost twenty minutes before giving up and leaving. Most of the Office Max goods can be purchased online and the brain damage of incompetent store management and disinterested slacker employees can be avoided. I'm all done with this third rate chain store. read more

i wouldn't even give this place one star!!! the employees are rude and they talk to you like you are stupid. even the manager!!! here is a long story that i have shortened. never ever take your computer in to office depot at stapleton!!!! they are worthless and can't fix a computer for shit. my mom took her computer in because it was running slow. she thought she had a virus or something. ever since she took it in and they so called "fixed it" she has been having so many problems, it shuts off on its own, she took it back they told her it was the power supply, she bo...ught the power supply, they put it in, threw away the damn warrenty and it is shutting off again, she took it back they told her it was the mother board and she would have to just buy a new computer. she took it somewhere else adn they told her it was the power supply and it was the wrong one. she went back to office depot to see if by chance they saved the box or the paper for the warrenty but said they threw it away, they told her she would have to drive all the way back to bfe to get the receipt so they could give her the money back on it. and they got pissed off at me because i told them that it worked, just slow, until they got ahold of it and that they should pull their heads out of their asses. never ever take your computer there....ever! unless you are ready to put more money into it then what it is worth! read more

Dysfunctional team with terrible customer service at the printing/service area. Voice up if they mess up your order (which they were with all of the ones I had seen that day) or talk to a manager. For as long as this OD has been in Stapleton, we have been their customer--until today. We were barely in the door when I saw a difference in the store. There was a recent snowstorm and in the entry was a huge bag of snow melt to be used on the sloping entry as people come in. Not only was it not used, but the mat in the entry was so wet it was sponge squishy and surrounding it was melted snow. People had to walk just as careful inside as they did outside. The entry also looked grimy. The store only had a few customers, thus looking at the cars in the parking lot most must have belonged to the employees. Looking down the main aisle that breaks into the rows of merchandise there were more wet footsteps tracks. It was enough to give a OD lawyer a heart attack. The cashier was busy talking to another employee and glanced at us when we entered as if we came to eavesdrop. Two other employees (sales people on the floor) were chatting and when they saw us, as if on cue, they stopped and both went in different directions, passing us but never speaking. They made it clear they did not want to be bothered. We went there to purchase a new computer. We left. Tomorrow we will go to one of their competitors and make the purchase. The HQ of OD could benefit greatly by sending secret shoppers into this store to see what the customer sees. read more
