I went into this location looking for help with an issue I was having on the Staples website while trying to print a booklet. The problem was that when I selected a certain binding option, the right side of my pages kept getting cropped off. However, when I chose a different binding, the issue didn't occur, so it clearly wasn't a formatting problem on my end. I explained this to the employee at the print center counter, but he immediately dismissed it as a formatting issue without really looking into it. When I asked if there was any way to complete the order in-store with his help, he simply told me it was the same process as online and didn't offer any further assistance. It was frustrating because I came in specifically for support, and it felt like my concerns were brushed off instead of being properly addressed. I was hoping for a more helpful and solution-oriented experience, especially since in-store staff should have the ability to troubleshoot or assist with printing and binding issues more directly. read more

The other day I purchased some software from a different Staples. The clerk didn't activate the copy so I couldn't load it. This store was more convenient so I stopped by to hopefully resolve the issue. It wasn't an easy problem to resolve, but the sales rep and the manager did a stellar job of figuring out the problem and resolving it. Came in because I heard they would laminate the COVID-19 Vaccine Card for free. I came in and was assisted by Bri at the Printing Area. She was so professional, friendly, excellent attention to detail and efficient. I gave her my parents cards and mine. My parents card had a label that would turn dark and possibly peel in the machine, so she made a copy of each and was able to laminate them and gave me the originals. I asked how much it cost to make the copies and she said no charge! Great customer service! Since I was there, they had great items in the Clearance Area, so purchased a lot of items for my grandkids at very good prices. I came here to get my passport photos done. No appointment was necessary. I just walked in, had my photo taken, and was able to leave with the photos just like that. They have a lit backdrop, and I had seen online that the quality of the passport photos taken at Staples are better than other places. I was super pleased, thankful and grateful for Jude at the Printing services department when I visited last Thursday, October 19, 2023. I was urgently needing label printing done and Jude genuinely and graciously helped me with no excuses, all heart and willingness to serve. I was fully impressed because I had previous unpleasant and disappointing experiences before especially with Office Depot printing department. Jude made everything go great, my product excellent, and restored my trust that there are still really great employees out there. Just over a year ago, they sold me into a printer warranty, and when my printer stopped working, would not redeem it, I was told I had to go through a third-party, which seemed like a pain in the ass, so I left the printer and the receipt and left. The measly $200 printer they wouldn't even look at it or test it to see if it was a simple fix or not. I know I did not elect to purchase this warranty on my own and assumed I was sold into it as I normally do not, these type of warranties. read more

The only reason I'm giving stars is for Desiree and Bri being very nice, helpful, and working to make up for the issues. But the printing experience with my Christmas cards itself was HORRENDOUS. On the day that I was supposed to pick them up an employee called to let me know that the cards didn't turn out looking very good and he wanted to warn me before I came and got them. He was right. They looked terrible. So another employee suggested that they could be outsourced to their warehouse for a reprint. I opted for that option and asked if they could be expedited since I needed them asap. They said they would do what they could. Couple days later when I called to check on the order the guy told me that the print company had failed to mention to them that they had some issue with it and still hadn't printed the cards. So the guy said he would do what he could to get them going again. Couple days later when I called again to check on the order the chick said that they probably wouldn't arrive until Christmas Eve so I asked her if she could at least refund me the money. She took that to mean "cancel my order". So when she told me "OK, I have canceled your order", I said that I didn't ask for the order to be canceled I just asked for my money back. To which she said she couldn't give me my money back without cancelling the order, so I said, "ok then, nevermind, just don't cancel I guess". Couple days later I call again to check on the status and the people tell me that the order had shipped on the 22nd and would hopefully arrive by the 23rd or 24th. They also said they would leave a note with the manager about the problems that I had experienced. So, on the 23rd, the manager calls and says that the order never actually shipped and had stayed cancelled, but that she reprinted them in store. She wasn't sure why the warehouse had cancelled them. I just went in to pick them up and the two ladies that I mentioned at the beginning were the only good part about the experience. Tried to use print services but the long haired guy with the beard didn't know how to work anything. They have a very small selection of office supplies and out of a lot of the basics. I have been regularly going to this Staples for the past year and it is always wonderful. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. I can print shipping labels, buy boxes, use their free paper cutters and tape, and ship off my packages all in 5 minutes. Even when I overhear frustrated and confused customers, the employees handle everything with finesse and care. I am very thankful for each and every employee at this store. They will help you and take care of you. The shipping department is knowledgeable, quick, and kind. The cashiers are friendly and actively look out for saving you money. I could not make the image fit to page and she told me that it would be a 24 hour turn around to print off 5 copies. I have never had this issue at Office Depot. My Fiancé came to this store to purchase an office chair. Outside of being pointed towards the Office section, no one came to assist him within the 25 minutes that he was reviewing and trying out the chairs. He noticed other customers who arrived after him being helped. He waited to see how long they remained complacent and unhelpful, and then walked out. I spoke to a George, Staples Manager, this evening, to express our experience, and unfortunately, George was as bland in his phone mannerisms as his daytime [lack of] service team was toward my fiancé. Most unprofessional management staff I've ever encountered at any establishment. Guaranteed an express print, talked to 2 managers over the phone. This was for an express print demand for a meeting. Corporate materials failed to ship, called them in a bind and I thought I was in the clear. Called this am to pick them up, bad news is they haven't even started. The manager sounded all of 15 on the phone and laughed when I told him what happened. Laughed, at a broken commitment. No wonder all big box chains are closing their doors. I am so deeply disappointed with this print center. I have run my art business using Staples print center for the last 4 years. The customer service in the print center is pathetic to say the least. The only competent people that I worked with over the years no longer work at the Staples or in the print center. Total incompetence from top to bottom. I am a retired, disabled and deaf senior. I have a permanent partial disability that is covered by ADA. I can neither drive nor talk on the phone, so getting a ride for a single order pick up is necessary. I placed an online order for three items; the original pickup date was for May 5, which sounded reasonable. That was pushed forward to the 7th, then the 10th, then the 11, and then the 13th. OK, patience rules. But on May 7 I received a less-than-accommodating email from Staples titled "Forgetting something? Your items are ready for pickup" and said they would cancel my order if I didn't pick it up (I had already entered my credit card information)! At that point, two of three items totaling $140 were still backordered! I immediately got online and messaged with "Ron," whose exact words were "Sure. Let me call the store for you and take care of it for you no worries. I will leave a note for you on the order so they can hold your items there. Well, today, they cancelled the first item. Another online rep, "Jocelyn," said "I" should re-place the order, or else "I" cancel the whole thing and start a new order. ME??? I have already done my due diligence and you won't fix it?? NO!!!! This treatment is DISRESPECTFUL and discriminatory, and I will not tolerate such flagrant indifference to a rather simple need -- One Order, One Payment, One Pick Up! Why can't you figure out a simple and reasonable request?! If the order is not cancelled forthwith, or I receive any more harassment from Staples, or if a hold or charge is placed on my card, we will be meeting with attorneys present. I enlisted Staples for a large, copy, scanning project to the tune of close to $500.00. These items were picked up THE NEXT DAY because the volume was large and took up space. I needed another 60 pages scanned and that was left with them. I have not had the chance to get back over to pick up those items (it has been a total of 16 days) and I got the nastiest, most rude and unprofessional voicemail from Staples. The voicemail that was left sounded like a very very angry debt collector while in reality, I AM A GOOD CUSTOMER. I was utterly shocked. Needless to say I will never darken their doors other than to pick up my scan. There are so many other options out there besides Staples....why would anyone give money to a business that treats you like dirt. ****A follow up, I went back today to pick up my scanned document and found that they didn't email me the file. I spoke to a manager and showed them my yelp review and the manager was very nice and said they would take care of my issue. During this time, they were trying to find out why I didn't get the document and wanted me to scan it again (it was over 60 pages and cost close to $77 to scan). I was again upset because not only was I treated poorly before but I was summoned to come pay for the scan that never went thru. During this the man that left me the nasty message came up to the desk and was pointing his finger in my face and was incredibly menacing. I'm 52 years old and I have never had any merchant get so aggressive. 2 managers had to tell him to back off. I was shook up enough that I had to leave....I still don't have my scanned document and I am out another $77. This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a merchant. read more

Bought some pens and when leaving saw a charity set up outside the store and wanted to donate. Went back into the store after making my purchase and asked the same clerk to break a $20 into two tens so I could donate $10. Clerk said he couldn't open the till without a purchase - which of course I just made. I asked to speak to a manager. When the manager arrived he said he didn't have spare tens. I asked he he could give me change in $5's. He said he couldn't do that either. Mind you this was mid day and there were at least four registers in the store. I ordered some photocopies for a business meeting, paying in advance, and I received an email letting me know my order was ready for pick-up. Great, I'll get it on the way to my meeting. However, when I get to Staples no one is in the photocopy section and I wait about five minutes figuring the person might be in the restroom. When no one showed up I asked a person at check out if anyone was working photocopy and he said, yes, but the person was out to lunch and I would have to wait a half hour, which would have made me late for my meeting so I left without my photocopies. UPDATE Staples (the next day) was very nice, apologized and refunded my order. They explained there had been a staffing shortage problem, which had not been explained to me when I originally went to pick up my order. I still don't understand why the people who were working there couldn't have simply retrieved my order (which again was pre-paid) and given it to me, but apologies are worth something so I have re-rated my experience as 4-star. read more

Horrible Service, won't be returning. This is the 2nd bad experience out of only 2 visits in the last 2-3 years. I wanted to recycle some electronics and their website says they take it at no cost. I walk in and ask an employee if they recycle and he does not look at me but just points to his left and says "over there". Not even Hello, or a smile. Ok, so i go "over there" which is the Customer Service counter. There is nobody there, and the counter is covered in boxes and inventory and it doesn't look like there is even any one on duty. I look around and sure enough the 1st employee is nowhere to be found. The only other person around is the 1 cashier who is taking care of the growing line. I wait around for about 5 minutes and nobody shows up. I finally just left with my box of electronics. The previous experience had to do with returning an item I bought on-line. It was about $100 and when I go into the store, they scan it and offer me $12. Excuse me? I had a receipt and it was within 2 weeks of purchase. The manager claimed it was scanning at that price and even though I paid $100 and had my receipt there was nothing they could do. Seriously? How is this even possible? I just walked out at that point. I will NEVER go back to Staples for ANYTHING. Just not worth the headache. read more

I ordered business cards online and they turned out good with a high gloss the way I like them .So I wanted Postcards for mailing with a high gloss to match and after ordering two times they kept on sending me a matt finish. I asked them does this mean you cannot get a high gloss anymore? They said I cannot promise you that you will have the same problem or not. So since I cannot trust with confidence that they know what they are doing I can promise you that your business will go way down. You might as well close your doors. So I ordered it. They called the next day, I brought them my desktop, and watched them update my RAM. then they showed me where I'd see increased speed and tested it. AND they cleaned out the dust. Myself and one other person were accidentally standing in the wrong line area, cashier called out to help the next person in line which allowed two others to go in front of he and I who had been waiting the longest. That gentleman said something to her and the attitude seemed as though she could care less. I then mention when it's finally my turn that the other "area" does appear a line should form there and that it's misleading because I had also been waiting. She basically told me well sorry I can't do anything about it, it's always been that way. I suggest maybe a sign be posted and she said "I'm just a cashier the manager is over there". I mention maybe she could pass the feedback along and she tells me it doesn't matter because they won't listen to her anyway. The store is super clean and employees are very helpful but this location has a big issue with mismarking prices. I was just overcharged at the register on three separate items--all three of which I caught and had corrected but not until after I walked back through the store and took photos of the items and their marked prices. My cashier was very accommodating with returning the items and refunding me the differences but it was an added irritant to my already full errands-running Sunday. My name is Vicki P. and I'm a procrastinator. Sometimes, I just don't like to do stuff and will delay the inevitable as long as possible. I will even put off getting ready for things I'm actually looking forward to doing. So that's how I found myself, at the eleventh hour, on the Staples website designing printed invitations for my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary party, guaranteed for next day in-store pick-up. Template choices for anniversary party invitations are very limited but there are plenty of wedding and birthday options available. One generic template allows for complete customization by uploading your own image and figuring out the font type and size and the location of all the text. Ain't nobody got time for that! Luckily, I really liked the look of the invitation I chose and it came double-sided so I could add more information on the back. And the price is right as well - $24.99 for a box of 25 invites. Once my order was placed, the confirmation email stated that the invitations would be ready on May 18th at 8:30 p.m. According to my calculations, May 18th is two days after May 16th (when I placed the order), not the next day. Well, I guess procrastinators can't be choosers. But guess what? I received an email at 11:11 a.m. on May 17th letting me know that my order was ready for pick-up! So I picked up the invitations last night and they look great! We actually ended up with 26 invites and they gave me 50 envelopes. I also picked up some cute little glittery gold seals to dress up the plain white envelopes and a graduation card. I probably could have also purchased stamps at this store if I'd remembered to ask. The two employees I encountered were just as nice and helpful as they could be. I'm thinking about checking into customized Christmas card options - you know, sometime in mid-December. I gotta hand it to the Staples marketing team because that really was easy. read more

Don't bother using their UPS services. They are unhelpful and absolutely incompetent. The cashier entered the address incorrectly and my husband missed it. When I checked it later that night, I saw it. I called UPS and they said only Staples could help. Staples said they weren't able to make changes after it shipped. UPS said they could. I have no other options. So, I am out $40 for my package and will have to pay ANOTHER $40 after it is returned to me, in addition to a $10 return fee. I am livid. Found it very difficult to get help purchasing a tablet I wanted. I waited around for a guy to come back who was nearby and then left without noticing me (or he noticed me and split on purpose, not sure which) never did then after meandering for what felt like 10 minutes with nobody around to help, went to a cashier who had to radio the guy who left to come back, then when he checked me out he didn't nix the security tag on the item so I buzzed and had to get my bag checked. Copy machines there are fussy half the time. First time for me the pay scanner was broken so had to see the cashier, second time the pay scanner worked but the copier wouldn't accept a copy from my USB drive so I had to have the person at the desk print it from their machine for me. At least I wasn't charged for that trouble. read more

Wow! Went here to purchase a new printer. I was advised by an employee that he'd be right over to help. Cool, I shopped for everything else I needed and then waited in the printer aisle. 10 minutes later, he still hadn't been back to help. I go up to the printer counter and ask if someone can help me with the printers. The girl behind the counter said she'd page someone. Cool. I went back and waited in the printer aisle. 10 more minutes go by. Multiple employees are watching me read tags and try to understand the printer recommendation guide. Not one single person offers to help. I go back to the printer counter and ask again for help. The girls demeanor changed completely and she said "Look there are only so many of us here and we have other stuff to do so your just going to have to wait!" I was seriously in shock. I went back to the printer aisle yet again to get my basket and I was approached by one of the employees who was pacing the store and watching me struggle. Finally, I thought, someone is here to help. Nope! He came up to me to apologize for not being able to help stating that they had some stuff going on and it would be a few more minutes before anyone could help. At this point I decided to leave. As I'm walking out of the front door the original employee who said he'd be by to help was standing at the front like a Walmart greeter and he said to me "Sorry I couldn't help you." It was the most bizarre experience ever. The store was empty. What a joke. read more

I went in to ship a UPS package during their normal business hours, but they were unable to help me because the 'person that does that' was on lunch. Humm, very strange... If I owned a business, I would serve people when they need it not when it is most convenient for the store. It was a Sat evening. I did not see any other customers. There was a guy sitting in an office who greeted me and a person at the check out. I guess they think it no big deal to sit and wait thirty minutes or more to ship a package.
