I was sad to need a color copy on a Sunday. I hate it when people have to work on Sundays but I really need Real Estate Property Copies! Ashauni assisted me and did an amazing job. She was being rushed by rude customers and continued to be kind through the rush. I will be asking for her hours and will be using this office more frequently as result of her great attitude. This is a good Office Depot in a run-down shopping mall. There is construction going on on the frontage road, which would be ok. But the parking lot in front of their store is in terrible condition. Having said that, I went in recently needing some storage boxes and zip lock bags (I'm changing jobs.) When I couldn't find the bags, one of the staff honestly told me he didn't know if they had them, but took the time to walk with me following all the way to the back of the store where he found them. It's crazy to me how they allow people/someone with a bad attitude to work here. it is a customer service job. Ive been coming into this store for 6 months. there's a young lady names Makayla who is the absolute worst. she is hand down the rudest person I have ever met. everytime I come in here customers are commenting on her attitud. she never greets them nor asks if she can help. if you guys dont care about your customers just say that! read more

Terrible customer service....drive an extra 20 miles to avoid this place. I purchased an Epson Workforce WF-7720 printer with an extended warranty. Printer had printing issues from day one. I spent multiple hours removing drivers, reinstalling drivers...reading what everybody else was doing and after 4 months had had enough. Called the store where I purchased, explained my issue and was told, no problem, bring it in and we will refund or credit another purchase. When I arrived at the store I was told by the cashier that since it was over 14 days since I purchased it, I had to work through the warranty company. I asked to speak to the manager and she confirmed what the cashier had said and could have cared less what I was told over the phone. Warranty (Square D) said they wouldn't cover as it had issue from day one and it was a manufactures default. Called corporate twice now...both times they promised to send a courier to pick up and have the store call an issue a refund within 48hrs...both times they have lied. Save yourself time, grief and money...shop else where. read more

This place has gone to crap and no one cares. Employees seem especially lazy and uninterested. Below is the email I sent in to corporate about them. They sent it to the store manager, but I never heard back from anyone. Just want to share an experience with you I had at #85 in Irving TX yesterday (8/23 1:48PM), and why I'm never going back to that store again. I stopped by Monday to grab a few things my son needed for school, and grabbed 3 sets of the $2 earbuds that were on sale. Wednesday he tried one and it didn't work, so Thursday I stopped in to return all 3. What a nightmare that was. When I walked in there was one register open and a woman named Pravarah (something close to that) checking out a customer. Except she was obviously irritated with the customer and arguing with her over expo markers. "Do you want this or not? What about this? Is this yours?" Short and terse. Finally that customer goes to get find something in the store as another customer walks up behind me, so P decides to call for more help up front. Office Depot Guy shows up and takes the second register and the helps the next customer in line. Another Office Depot young lady (brunette) walks up as well, but decides not to help and walks off. My thought was maybe register three did not have a drawer; but turns out she didn't want to jump in and help. OD guy is trying to help customer purchase MC gift cards that are on sale, but can't seem to get it right. P finally finishes with her customer, but keeps halting progress with the person in front of me because she wants to tell OD Guy how to do it, then call for more support, then shuffle things around, etc. In her (P) calling for more help, OD young lady finally comes back up and proceeds to open register 3 so she can help me. All I want is a quick return for $5 and change, one defective and 2 still in the package. She scans them, then she has to enter reasons, then she has to go find a tag for the defective one and scan it in. While she is doing this manager guy comes over and wants to switch out the drawer (money), in the middle of the damn transaction. Then she prints up my receipt, and then has to highlight on my original receipt what I returned (there were only 6 items total and 3 were earbuds!) Finally done and I leave, about the time OD guy finishes with MC customer and P finishes with other lady. Roughly 15 minutes just for a quick return. Cashier asking for help multiple times and no manager shows up at all. When help does come it's only 2 people, and since the first person helped the second one walked away. OD young girl caused me to wait an extra 10 minutes just because she was too lazy to jump in and help the first time. P was a rude busy body and OD guy had no idea what he was doing. None of your employees have any sense of urgency or any concept of taking care of customers all the way UNTIL they walk out the door. They don't care. And clearly management doesn't care or at least one the three would have. I was literally standing there thing to myself, "This is what is killing retail, this is why it's going away. Because I would rather order online and pay extra than to have to suffer through this cluster." I just want to get to lunch and I'm stuck watching a three ring circus in slow motion. And one last thing, no one even tried to help me when we came in on 8/20 at 6:57PM. And the store in North Irving, I'm not fond of either. So for the many many years that I have shopped at Office Depot and Officemax, my final gift to you is the ten minutes it took me to type this up. I want to see retail do well, but for these stores I'm certainly not holding my breath. Thanks for the memories and goodbye! Hey, I'm not looking to find a best friend when I'm out shopping and spending my money in your store . but when I get checked out I expect some sort of greeting and a thank you I got nothing from this young Mexican girl. Im only in this location when I cant get to the one on MacArthur but the staff that runs the Print and Copy center are great. I needed a poster for an event. The printing wasnt quite working correctly but they worked with it until they got the size I needed. They could have called it quits and sent me on my way but they made sure I left with what I needed and I appreciate that. I want to say the guy's name was Rodney but I could be wrong. either way, great customer service. read more

I actually came into the store, Office depot,1000 W Airport Fwy, Irving, TX @ 11.45 in the morning on 4/11and asked for help to show me a Time-Clock for my employees.. I honestly could not believe that I was treated so awfully.I asked for the help for one girl( there were only two employees working at that time one Manager and other is this girl). She gave me a smirky look and said "just go to isle 10,11 and you will find" never bother to even acknowledge that there is a customer and needing some help.I came back and said I can't find then she came and she does not know where that item is and she has been extremely rude in her language and disgustful in her attitude towards the customer ,because I was brown. The store manager and this employee should be fired for lack of customer service and the scant attention they paid to customers .The manager had been on a phone call for the 25 minutes of time while I was there. I planned to spend about $500 at the store and decided "not to" spend my money here due to insensitive ,despicable and loathsome behavior and attitudes of these two employees..My future purchases also would not go to this store as I employ about 29 people and spend about $350 dollars per month on office products. As the customer I feel extremely disappointed by employees who were very unpleasant to do business with as well as seen to be lacking knowledge of the store products and their availability.
