HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! HORRIBLE SELECTION!!! Ordered a shredder at OfficeDepot.com for pickup at this location (website said it was in stock), got a confirmation email I would be contacted by email when I could get it, so I waited. The next day I had not heard so I called. The person said they would call when it came in. I tried to explain it showed in stock, and the call went downhill. I called again, and no one knew what I was talking about. Another woman answered the phone that had half a clue. Then said they don't notify you when ready. Going into the store, found more of a "cluster". I even went to a counter with a sign over it "Pickup Order". Everyone seemed like this was the first time they heard of such a thing. Eventually I got the shredder and left the store for the last time. If you are looking for office supplies, go another mile east and find a great Staples! But now I know - customers pay much higher for that same item... I overpaid my printer ink almost double what it costs on Amazon and $10 more comparing to Frys. Wow... I've seen some low ratings on Yelp for this location but I frequently go to this Office Depot since it's the closest to me and in Manhattan Beach. Although it's quite empty whenever I go in, I'm always greeted by a friendly employee and help is always readily available whenever I've needed assistance in finding anything. My most recent experience with this Office Depot has helped my efficiency at work when needing printed documents that have to be wired bound quickly. I've emailed my PDF files to them directly with noted specifics of each job and the expected completion time for pick-up. I've had 8+ work orders emailed within the last 2 days. They were able to complete all my jobs with no problems or errors and everything was ready on time as requested. Thanks Office Depot for making this so easy. They also provide Retail Connect Cards to employees of businesses and corporations that give significant discounts on products and services. This has resulted in a huge savings verses when I'd get print jobs done at Fedex Office. read more

Came here to pick up an online order. My husband and I decided to browse the store in case we needed anything else before picking the item up. Most items were fairly pricey compared to what you can get online. I'm okay with this, as I understand that unlike online stores, brick and mortar stores have rent as part of their overhead. We ended up finding a better deal for a similar item on sale in store only. We took the sale item to the online pick up area and asked if we could cancel or exchange our order for the sale item. The cashier told us it was no problem. She ended up have a few issues getting the transaction completed. Fortunately, a supervisor was nearby and helped the transaction along. read more

Came in to get a few things for my sons science project today. Store is clean. Parking is great. I walked in and the floor attendants were asking if I needed help, which is nice but I knew exactly what I needed and where it was. I went to the register to pay and had asked the cashier, if he knew about how long it took to get a signature stamp done. His response was " no, I don't". Then I asked if they took Apple pay. I rarely come to this Office Depot but since i was in the area and needed a 2013 calendar refill i usually get them from Office Depot. This one is ok the parking lot is small shares it with a Fresh and Easy store. Checkout was kinda slow only one checker and of course i end up behind two ladies with cart fulls of stuff after waiting all that time finally another checker came after the 2nd lady was getting rung up. Came here to get an engineering print done. It only cost me ~$3 for a 24" poster. The quality is actually decent as well. Mounting the engineering print is expensive so I you're cheap like me if recommend just doing it yourself. Overall though, the employees were helpful. No complaints here! read more

When you get a great representative to assist you, this is the best store ever. Occasionally, staff are rude and entitled. Although some prices run high if you are unaware of the going rate at like stores, most items are competitive. Do not have lots of copies made here, Staples are half the price. read more

Recently shopped at this beach community Office Depot. The items are not labeled correctly causing a big headache for my family. I ordered a desk for my son through their online computer inside the store. While being helped by a manager I trusted the order would be correct. The manager was easily distracted and not customer friendly. Ultimately the wrong desk was shipped to me and upon trying to return it back to the store the same manager who helped me tried to prevent me from bringing back to the store but rather I call a 1-800. I lugged the big box back to store and he was bitter that I brought it back to his store.... Lastly, I recommend not shopping at this particular store. Stay away from the manager: male, Caucasian, 30's, tattoos on arms one of which say "MC" with two bats crossed. read more

I don't understand why there are neutral and bad reviews for this Office Depot... I actually liked it. It's hidden inside a shopping center near aviation Blvd and Rosecrans Ave. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by am employee and he asked if I needed help finding something. So I said yes and he directed me to the exact location where I can get my materials. Everything is neat and organized and clean. The prices are a bit high but they're considerable. Ive been using Office Depots printing services for my business for years now. I'm new to the area and have been coming to this location. I have to be honest, the service I've received here within the last year has not been the pleasant. There are few reasons why but one of them is because I usually get stuck here for a minimum of 45min to an hour just to print something that shouldn't take more than 15 min max. However, I left happy today all thanks to NITO. She saw me waiting and rushed to help me, I hesitated since I was expecting to be here for an hour but she got my job done in less than 10 min! I've never had any complaints about this location but hadn't been there in a while & from the MOMENT I ENTERED until the MOMENT I LEFT, I felt valued, respected & thoroughly appreciated. The person that stood out the most was a young man named Christian who warmly greeted me with a big smile when I entered & just so happened to check me out when I left. He was SOOO nice, friendly & very professional. But then, ALL those who helped me were. At one point, I looked like I was searching for something but before I could even ask, I was being helped and escorted to the product I needed. There were at least 5 gentlemen who served me during my short visit. In this day of Corona social distancing, it was especially heart-warming to have such genuine courtesy. And it wasn't that fake "give-us-a-good-review" acting. You could tell that the management there is setting a standing and training well. COODOS!!!!!!!!!!! Until i got the shopkick app i rarely visited an office depot unless i had a pressing need for office supplies. So i walked into this location to get my walkin points and while browsing came upon there clearance section. There are some pretty good deals if you want to spend the time sorting thru the items. All the items are past normal useful life like accessory items for blackberrry phones or random cordless phone batteries. In my case i found a tumi ipad 2 case cover and was debating buying it for an ipad 3 asked a salesclerk and he said no returns. I decided to take a chance since the prices were on the lower end as to what i could find on ebay so he rang me up and gave an additional discount. This is your average, ordinary Office Depot. The two cool things I found at this store are 1) the full line of 3M Command products; and 2) basic desk supplies in all your favorite colors. If you want to use purple rubber bands and binder clips, you can find them at this store. read more

Pencils were on sale for $1 each online, so I placed 3 separate orders (they were limit 3 per order) when I went to pick my order up, an employee told me "way to cheat the system" first off I'm paying for the items, second I can place as many orders as I'd like and third it's my money! He doesn't know my financial situation, or if I am a teacher or not, or even if I am donating the items to kids in need! He was very rude, I even felt him as being racist! I called customer service and they never got back to me! That employee needs to be fired for making stupid comments like that! Worse store experience ever! What a life saver when it came to my phone repair. I had to get my screen replaced in when I was up in the middle of nowhere a month ago and they just screwed up my phone. Now I'm back to the mainland and I of course get all worried I broke my phone's screen again. After doing some research, I found Office Depot does iPhone repairs. I walk in and was immediately helped. The repair guy Eric, was knowledgeable and fast and helpful. Within a half hour my phone was finally fixed and I was thrilled. He even helped me put a new protective case on my screen. Plus I get a year warranty with the screen! Thank you so much for the help and being my phone's life saver! read more

Every time I come in here it is empty, yet I still receive the worst customer service. I came to purchase packaging supplies and decided to ship my item here as well. I think I was better off standing in line at the post office than here. No one came up to the counter and had to go up to a cashier to see if I could get someone to help me. HORRIBLE. Don't send your phone here to be repaired. Don't expect any kind of customer service. Don't expect a manager to talk to you face to face. I went to service center and the tech told me they could fix my charging port via Werxparts. I give them my phone, it is sent out, and it is unable to repaired at the promised cost of $79.99. No problem you think just send my stuff back. Nope! Instead I had to go into store myself and on the second time was told they could not fix my phone. So Werxparts never notified Office Depot that they had my phone just sitting a shelf. The latest trip the service assistant told me my order doesn't exist and he couldn't help me. He said he had to do further research. I was mad but kept cool. lol. I have a receipt so I simply called the Werxparts company and they are sending my phone back. Oh I forgot to mention. Somewhere during this odyssey on one of my trips the female manager slinks in and speaks to the rep before disappearing around a corner. I would have liked to have had a discussion with her about my unhappiness. And to make it worse as I was leaving the store she was being a smart ass and said, "Bye" as she popped her self out from behind a store advertisement piece. I said bye and left not wanting a confrontation. After I deal with them getting my $80 bucks back I am done. I will never return and I will speak badly of my experience there to any who ask. The actual salespeople who helped me were very helpful (Mike & Andrea). Aracelli was the name on her nametag, but she needs to listen to what the customer is saying, breathe, trust her own staff, and smile a little. Shouldn't be that hard to crack a fake smile to at least pretend you care. The store manager Rob does not inforce madk wearing by customers. That is risking the health of all in the store including employees. I witnessed him be bullied by a customer who wasn't wearing a mask and let them continue to use the self serve copiers. He doesn't seem very confident and lacks a backbone to deal with customers like that.. On another visit the asst manager Maria G was not knowledge about the printers available for customers to purchase. It was also very difficult to understand her as she does not speak English every well. I had to ask another employee, a tall African American man with glasses to help me. I don't understand how someone that can barely speak English be in a position of management in an area that is predominantly English speaking. I don't believe either of these 2 managers should be in charge of a store especially when there aren't other options in the surrounding area. The staff however are great and friendly. read more
