July 23, 2024 around 11:50 am An employee by the name Chris was screaming and being disrespectful to a senior. I had to step in and help the older man myself because this employee was just doing jaw dropping behavior. The older man needed help with the self printing area, and had no idea how to work his phone, and even send an email, I had to to this employees job and assist the man to print out his letter for a doctor. Also this employee at the time was not busy and could have stepped out of the counter and be the employee that went out of this way for a person in need. I walked out there just stunned at the behavior of some people sometimes, I still cannot believe it. I reported this incident to the manager and he was not happy either. David the manager was gracious enough to print my 5 copies on cardstock. I appreciate the help because it saved me a trip from coming back in the morning. This review is based on the online-pick up order experience. So, my stepdad has Alzheimer's, right? And one of the things he needs is one of those 22"x 17" monthly desk calendars. You know... for reminders and such... When I realized I forgot to order him one before the year began, I went on my diligent search online to see who had it for a fair price. I searched a few places, I'll admit including rivals Amazon, Walmart and Staples. Sure, they all had it, but only Office Depot had it for the bargain price of 5 bucks and change. (It even included a 20% discount just because!) It didn't take long before I got the notification email saying my order is good and ready to go. I was kinda strapped for time, so I knew it was gonna be a quick in-and-out stop. Plenty of parking available, so that's not an issue. I walked in and low and behold: all online/pick up orders are immediately to the left. Needless to say, I found my item immediately. I double checked with the staff and inquired if they need anything from me before I took off with it. "Nope, you good!" That may have been the quickest office supply run in my entire life! So although it was a fast visit, it was a great one, even more so with the time constraint I found myself in. They've definitely earned my top notch for office stuff! read more

I needed printer ink and I had to ask. Pro tip: They have them all behind the counter. Apparently they sell refilled Office Depot brand which is about $10 cheaper so I bought that. Waiting to go test at home but it has an Office Depot guarantee it will work so I'm giving this a 4 star and moving on. read more

I've been going to this location for years. The service has always been pretty good. The staff is very helpful with whatever you need. On many occasions I've gone there with random tech questions and they've answered them fully. It's my go to place whenever I need office equipment. Definitely recommend checking it out. read more

A huge shoutout to the printing department. I needed some posters done asap for a fundraiser that was the next morning. I placed my order online but they were not supposed to be ready until two days later. I called and spoke with Seth, he was so helpful and moved my order up the queue to get them done in time. A few hours later they were ready and he even called to let me know they were ready. I offered to pay a rush fee and when I arrived Laura at the printing desk said it was no problem and helped me get my posters quickly. All of the team members and associates were helpful and friendly. Another associate helped me locate other items I needed quickly and with a fantastic attitude. My company was in the process of doing our own company payroll, we purchased Quick Books pro from this store. After installing the software and working with Intuit over the phone we realized that the software was not going to work for us. Intuit had good customer service and refunded us the payroll portion of the monies paid; but because the software was actually purchased at a brick and mortar store, we was directed to contact that store to collect the remaining balance of the refund. Initially I called and spoke with someone in tech support on (09/10/2021 at 4pm) claiming to be the manager. This person did not show any managerial skills. After I explained the situation the person I spoke to stated " we cannot return the software after it's been open. That was the end of that conversation. I had the INtuit rep on the line the whole time who could not understand why Office Depot would not return the balance. I called Home Depot again, got the tech department this time I spoke with Chris around (430pm) who just happened to sound like the guy I had earlier. Chris started off the conversation with the same old line. Can't return the software. I explained to the Intuit rep that Chris was not able to help us. After realizing the Intuit rep was on the line it was only then that Chris began to change his tune. Now all of a sudden Chris is saying we can return the software. I went in to print a project I was working on, and not only was the customer service disgustingly bad, they wanted me to pay over twice the amount it stated online! This was after their printer would not upload from usb or phone, so I had to manually send each picture to an email, upload the code, put in a $5 HOLD... just for it to be $55 over what was said online. The customer service was completely rude, and was not helpful in the slightest, and gave me attitude at multiple points. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be coming back here again. read more

Horrible, dumb service in the copy department. I asked for "packets" of papers to be copied. I gave them papers paper clipped together with the number of packets to be made (i.e. 24 packets) for each order. I went through my order with a live person who went through my packet order of about 10. When I picked up my order the next day I got an entire box of loose paper. They said they don't use the work "packet" (and neither they nor the manager could define it) but instead "stapled" and I hadn't requested the papers to be stapled. So after paying a large sum of money I'm left to make my own packets at home. I couldn't Judy used the self service copy machine for this. Useless people. read more

As a long time customer, I was surprised and offended when I was told I could not do business there unless I put on a mask, although the mandate was dropped for indoor activities if vaccinated. The sales staff told me they were aware of them not being required, but this store was not adhering to the policy being followed throughout the county and state. If they are frightened of the minute chance of contracting the virus, they should do some research and follow the science, not the hysterics. read more

He was generous with his time and information even though he would not make a sale on Norton which we already had. I was initially considering a second computer (a chromebook) for schoolwork only but was able to avoid that. (In a prior call to Staples (S. Torrance, PCH), the tech rep recommended the chromebook as a solution and pushed $100 accidental insurance for $220 chromebook...and the tech rep at the W. Torr Staples had no solution to offer...) CORPORATE OFFICE DEPOT OVERLORDS, PLEASE READ! This location is HORRENDOUS - the customer service team is unable to multi-task - or hell, even perform one task at an acceptable speed. I went in today on my lunch break (12/1, around 10:30 a.m.) to purchase some stamps (which they purport to sell on their website). This transaction *should* have taken less than five minutes - or so my naive, hopeful heart wished. There were two associates behind the postal/copy desk, wandering aimlessly from machine to machine, trying very hard to look busy whilst looking down to avoid eye contact with customers. There was no clear line to wait in; people with their their flyer-copying needs camped out in front of the counter and waited to be spoken to. I waited patiently for about 15 minutes - no headway was made and my prospects of getting stamps (or food of any kind in my last few minutes of freedom) looked more and more grim. At minute 20, I went to the main registers, in hopes one of the two cashiers would take pity on me. Alas, its a town without pity; one cashier looked uncomfortable and untrained as he bumbled through a scotch tape return and the other cashier ran away, choosing flight over fight, I suppose. I walked out, completely mystified and without product. Office Depot - you need to staff accordingly at peak times, as well as perform some controls to ensure your staff is adequately trained. I would even accept a staff that can fake it, as it implies giving a damn. Lunch break wasted, no stamps procured, the terrorists win again. read more

Writing this because of sales associate Craig. Visited this Office Depot around 8:30am 11/13/15. A customer before me was getting frustrated because of some credit card issue and wasn't acting very polite. Craig was very polite and apologetic and showed great professionalism. When it was my turn at the register Craig was very professional and kind. I think that kind of great behavior should be commended and I am writing this review as a thank you to a sales associate that remains kind and friendly even when some customers are not.
