I've been here a bunch of times and every time it seems to be more and more empty! Nonetheless, I am greeted by a worker shortly after I've entered the building. (Must be some company mandate, I guess.) This time, I just needed to make some oversize photocopies. No issues and I was in and out in no time. read more

I stopped in on my way to work to either return or exchange an item I had purchased as part of an online order. I was sent an expired date stamp that was useless to me. The cashier told me which aisle they were in and where to find them and then promptly exchanged it for me. So quick and nice! read more

Came here late one night on a mission to buy address labels after a failed attempt at my nearby Walgreens. I ended up wandering the entire store in two loops and picked up a few extra items (obnoxiously glittery notebooks!!!) before noticing that the section I wanted to be in was immediately on the left after I'd entered. Oops. Most of the employees seemed to not want to be bothered, but when I finally found the address labels, a very friendly one asked if there was anything I needed help with--the store's saving grace. Checking out was a little confusing, as there didn't appear to be an obvious set of checkout counters. I ended up being helped by the lady at what I think was the printing station...? In any case, the store had what I needed, there was ample parking, and any interactions I had were pleasant, so I'm okay with giving this store three stars. read more

This is our go-to place for back to school supplies and shipping supplies! Pros: Open late, never crowded, large parking lot out front, good selection. Other reviews complain about the customer service, but I've never had a bad experience. Cons: it's inordinately hard to find things in here. I always come in with a list, find the first few things right away, then wander around the notebook aisles and folder aisles aimlessly until I give up and ask an associate for help. Today's example: Brad folders. They weren't with all the regular folders. They were in the back by themselves. I think their items could be grouped better. We will be back, though! They have no major competition in the immediate area. read more

Office Depot seemed somewhat understaffed today and none of the workers even looked at me. If they saw me they just turned and walked away. I just needed a box, some tape, and then I ended up getting a birthday card. When it was time to check out there were two cashiers. One of them was already busy but the other was just standing on her phone. I was the only one in line so I stood there waiting for someone to help me check out. The girl finally got off her phone but then she just stared at me while I stood there and wait. After several minutes of her ignoring me she eventually asked me if I was ready to check out. While checking out she was just very rude and acting like I was taking away from her phone time. Office Depot needs to re-evaluate their staff. read more

Office supply store that needs new staff! Awful service, overpriced. I came here and the manager had a complete attitude when I was trying to return something (with a receipt!). There was no reason for an attitute or for a denial of an exchange. Who pays $10 for a reem of paper btw too? Basic copy paper at that! I'd recommend going elsewhere. read more

They usually have what I am looking for when I come to this store. There is nothing super about the inventory of the store although there are occasionally great sales in the weekly ads. Parking is very easy in their lot that never fills up. I recently purchased a computer desk chair here and was helped by Nate who was very helpful in suggesting a chair that would meet my needs. It's always nice having a good staff member with knowledge of the products helping out. read more

I remember "stationery stores" where you could always find the exact items you needed regularly for the office. If they were out, the sales staff could commiserate, make suggestions for an alternate or two, and then order what you wanted. Boy, are those days gone! Not a fan of this place. Been here a handful of times and there are always a million employees hanging around until you actually need something -- then they disappear. The poor lady from the business center actually had to come over and ring me up the woman in front of me was taking so long. I can never find anything I'm looking for here. No, I don't want $15.00 binders, nor do I want red, black, and white tacks instead of ones that serve function over form. I just want office supplies, things that are going to let me do my job without costing me what I make at my job. Went to pickup usps shipping box to ship an item at this store. Found the right sized box for the item and was leaving to package the item for shipping when a worker first asked if I was ready to checkout which I replied no. They then asked did I come in the store with the usps shipping box which I replied no and also asked if there is a charge now for these boxes. The employees should have more knowledge of the products, especially the ones that are provided for free. I left the store and do. It plan to return. This was at one tim our go to store for anything Office Depot carries. Eo should first receive better training on working with customers and also training on the product lines. read more

Yesterday I purchased online 10 reams of paper to be picked up at one of their stores. When I got there they had the item pulled and charged to my credit card. To my dismay in order to get the paper... Which was paid for.... I had to let them scan my driver's license. They read my license and agreed that I was the person who ordered and paid for the paper but I could not leave the store with my purchase until they scanned my license. Is this any way to treat a paying customer? They have no right to any information contained in the bar code on the back of my driver's license. It was OK that I charged the item to a credit card that that they never saw but the clerk had to enter all my driver's license info so I could leave the store with my prior paid for item. They have no right to this information and I will not be shopping on their website/store in the future. The store manager told me that the information was not kept but I don't believe him. read more

Worst experience! Bought a computer desk and file cabinet, the latter being my second choice, as the floor sample was for an out-of-stock item. Paid for delivery and assembly but had a hard time getting delivery confirmation. Eventually, both items arrived, the installer did her job, but, ALAS! screws for the file cabinet were missing. Phone calls were made and promises consisted in future mailing of said screws. It is incumbent upon me to monitor their arrival and contact the installer for a second trip. Manager at the store was eminently unhelpful and blamed the manufacturer in spite of the fact that I purchased the items from Office Depot and not some unknown manufacturer. Let's not even talk about the byzantine check out process: three separate charges, desk, cabinet and delivery. read more

I cracked the screen of my iPhone and aw that Office Depot could fix them. I called this morning and brought it in during my lunch break and picked it up at like 6 when I got off work. It was way cheaper to repair there than the other places I saw: $65! And they did a great job and were knowledgeable and friendly. read more

Double billed me, I have screenshots of my card being charged twice. Called customer service, they told me billing help only available to people with an account there. No help, but customer service lady was polite and billing wouldn't even talk to me. My advice: do not use paypal to buy from them unless you dont mind waiting 2 weeks to get refunded after the double charge you. Never again will I shop there, with cash or charge or paypal. I'll do without before I do business with these "people" and I use that term lightly. Wait till I go protest them with a sign out front. I come here often for business shipping and printing and often resolve to find a better place but never do because it's close. This time I'm quitting them for good. The shipping and printing staff is mostly incompetent (there are a few notable exceptions) waits are long, prices are high, and both staff and management seem indifferent to the problem. I'd use Vista for printing (exceptional service, great prices) and anywhere else at all for shipping. read more

This place is horrible. As others have said, customer service is non-existent. I went there two nights ago and bought something where there was big "Sale" sign over the item I bought. When I went to check out they charged me twice as much as the sale price. I had to go back to the check out, where I received a bunch of attitude from the employee. Apparently the Office Depot policy is just to refund the difference if a customer catches an overcharge. So, if the customer doesn't catch the overcharge, Office Depot wins. If the customer does catch the overcharge, the customer comes out even. At Schnucks if you catch something wrong in the system they refund you the entire price of the item. This is fair and makes sense, as it provides an incentive for the retailer to get the prices right in the system. read more

I was forced to put a star but I would put negative 5 if I could. I have never had a worse shopping experience in my life. I called ahead to ask if they had what I wanted and I was assured they did. I asked to clarify because previous stores I visited had been sold out but I was promised they had what I wanted. I looked three different places in the store to find what I asked for but saw that it was sold out. I asked someone to help me and they just pointed me right back to where I already knew it was sold out. I went back to the person for help and they sent me to the front for someone to help me. I waited for ten minutes before finding someone to help me again and then waited another five minutes. I was greeted with an attitude and disrespect. I was told they did not have what I was looking for in the store or in the back of the store. So I waited 30 minutes to be told what I was promised and assured they had they did not. Oh and what was the thing I asked for? Paper. Office Depot was out of freaking paper. I will never sit foot again in that store. I was lied to, mistreated, disrespected, and thieved. They stole my time, my energy, and my good mood. Don't go here ever. It is just god awful filled with awful people. read more
