I bought an Epson Computer along with Allstate's Protection Plan. Officre Depot in Waco, Bosque Bld. won't honor the protction plan and to call Allstate. I called Allstate and told them Office Deopot told me to mail it to Allstate. Again, Allstate told me NOT TO MAIL IT TO THEM BUT TO TAKE IT TO OFFICE DEPOT and they sould give me a credit so I can purchase a new one. Office Depot refuses to take it back. "Allstate's Policy is not Office Depot's policiy" the manager told me. So I am stuck with a broken computer and a protection plane that is not honored. read more

Awful branch and dreadful customer service. Wanted to print some images to create paintings and rude lady behind the desk accused me of copyright infringement. I told her that I had taken the images and had changed 30% of the others to transfer onto canvases to paint and she refused to do it for me. This was a very nice Office Depot. It is located on Bosque next to Hastings. It isn't the newest store but the employees were very polite and efficient. We don't often go to the office supply stores but I had to fax some important papers and I know Office Depot is a nice reliable place to accomplish this. The fax went well. I needed one in the United States but do believe that they offer out of country faxes as well. I want you to know if it is your first time like us today, we recently moved here, that unlike the newer ones I am used to in Houston their business services are in the right rear part of the building and not up in the front of the store. A helpful employee let us know where to go. On the way out we found a great deal on clearance. A nice iPhone 6/6S case for about 7.50. The man checking us out was very pleasant. I ordered a wide format Epson printer at the store and paid for next day delivery. Not only was it not delivered the next day it has not even shipped yet. The store employees have no idea whatsoever what to do and after being put on hold for a very long time I went to the store only to find I would have been better off ordering it online. When I checked with the store they told me it's not their problem. And they are right. If you want no help at all from employees that wander around the store chit-chatting with each other on their radios and placing customers on hold until they get disgusted and hang up, this is the store for you. I just walked out of the store... Waiting for 20 minutes. A gentleman was supposed to be back to help me in five minutes... 15 minutes later and I'm still waiting. I decided just to go up to the cashier to pick up my item and they're dealing with a customer issue. You would think that instead of allowing paying customers to stand there and wait they would get someone to another register to help. The store had one other customer aside from me and all of the employees were just standing around in various areas messing with the displays. Will not be back at this location. I got a really decent printer here yesterday for just $50. There was a $50 instant rebate. I'm still pretty surprised about it.

I am so mad. They bombard my email everyday with their "specials" and "coupons" and every time I go to use them, there is always something that won't qualify. This is even after one of the sales associates works with you and tells you all you have will go with coupon. Sure enough after shopping for an hour I get to the register and only part qualifies because they were out of something I had to order, which they did for me. BUT I still could not use the coupon! Grrrr I will unsubscribe to you. I will get what I need at Walmart next time. Sad part is they are the only game in town. Office max is now Office Depot too. Office Depot shoppers should allow time for a very long visit at the establishment. There are numerous employees on the floor and they are generally helpful with locating merchandise. Purchasing the merchandise, however is very difficult. The check out registers are consistently, poorly staffed and this has been the case for a number of years. Generally, only one register will be open and long lines are the rule as employees give lenghty technical advise to customers and even walk away from their work stations to attend to other matters in the store. read more

I have been getting supplies for my practice here for over 3 years. I have yet to have a mediocre experience or have to wait an unreasonable amount of time. Staff and managers are consistently both helpful and knowledgeable without being overzealous. They do NOT care about their customers! You can decide for yourself: Here is what happened: Office Max/Depot: 1) Sold me a defective printer that prompted me to replace 3 color toners prematurely costing me over $200.00 2) made me jump through a lot of unnecessary hoops for NOTHING! 3) I finally got in touch with someone in their resolution department named Brian 4) He was supposed to send me 3 color toners to replace the one's that my printer told me to replace prematurely 5) He sent me a black cartridge for a completely different printer instead of 3 color toners & I just gave up after that because (just like now) it was more trouble than it was worth. 6) That black cartridge that he sent me leaked all over my clothes.... I explained to him that: 7) I'm not asking you for the 3 color toners that I'm entitled too. 8) I'm not asking you to reimburse me for my damaged clothes 9) I'm not asking you to replace the faulty printer 10) I AM asking you to send me 1 Black Toner for MY ACTUAL printer. If you're looking for a store that has a commitment to customer service don't come here. They are slow unprofessional discourteous. Come to the store if you have hours to wait don't come if you need something done quickly. Francisco supposably is the professional in the printing department I would hate to see what it unprofessional person is at this store it took him multiple times to do what we ask and then when he produced the picture his fingerprints were all over the printing. When I pointed it out the wrinkle increase and his fingerprints he's like oh that's in the paper. He's unprofessional along with the whole staff. We should have known not to come to the store for when we walked in and mediately was a large German cockroach right in the middle of the doorway. Stores and nasty and filthy.
