They had an intriguing selection of ways to kill rodents which I'd not seen being a suburban person. And tons of bird food. Nice selection of fishing items. And then he got bored and we had to leave. I like wandering around these types of stores as they're filled with interesting items, some I've never seen before and you can learn a few things that could be useful next time you go camping or hiking. The checkout person was friendly, running out after her prior customer to give them their receipt as they were making a large purchase and loading up outside. My most recent visit was a couple days ago when I went in to buy a Stihl Gas Trimmer, which I've wanted for quite some time. This Bomgaar's is one of a few authorized Stihl dealers in Council Bluffs. I go in and ask one of the associates if I can take one off of the shelf to get a 'feel' for it and he goes and gets another employee, who was older and didn't seem like he liked his job that much; he didn't greet me, smile, or acted like he really cared. the only good thing that came out of dealing with the older gentlemen, was that he mentioned that if I bought 6 containers of the Stihl ultra oil for the trimmer, it doubles my warranty, which is amazing. When he was entering my trimmer into the system, I double checked to see if that was accurate and it was. He assisted me to the register, I rang up, and left. That is one thing that is consistent about this Bomgaar's, the customer service isn't the best. But their selection of everything for your outdoor needs keeps me coming back.

With Covid-19 going around I thought for sure they wouldn't be able to help me out. But I was wrong. Anthony made getting this paint so extremely easy. He told me to call him back and he'll run out to grab the paint sample, a sample that was far from perfect. The customer service at this location is one of the best I've seen in a while. They took the time to explain all the current paint options, why each works in different situations, what preparation was needed/not required, and at no point did I feel like they were trying to sell me the most expensive stuff.
