I have been going to this Office Depot for years. It seems about every time I go in there is no staff in the printing department. I need printing done for a program. when I arrived I was told the the person would be in at 2. I waited until 2:30 no one came and the manager at the time did not know how to assist. I came back around 55 the young man did not know how to print the program. I left and went to UPS store they were ready the next morning. I signed up for the Business program, but I will be canceling. This was in October. I hope things get better it is very coinvent. The staff seems to have a big turn over. This is my local OfficeMax. I often stop in here to make photocopies. The cashiers are friendly and helpful. Adrian always greets me when I enter the store. My complaint with the self-serve copy machines. They take forever to make photocopies. After you put your credit card in, it takes a lot of time to go from screen to screen. Every time you try to make a copy, it goes to a separate page and asks you to approve the purchase. The cursor on the screen then spins and takes time going from one page to the next. It took me around 10 minutes to make 8 separate photocopies. read more

I have pretty good experience at most Office Max stores and this location is no exception. They usually have what I need in stock and I'm able to get whatever I need without a hitch. This location is near Roswell High School off of Crossville Rd which for those living in Roswell is Holcomb Bridge Road. (Not sure why they feel the need to change the road's name ever few miles but there it is) It's located a couple of doors down from Trader Joe and Petsmart. My experience at this location completely depends on who helps me at the print counter. Sometimes this place is amazing, kind, fast and helpful. Other time I have walked and and waited over a half hour before being helped (and I mean there is no one in line before me) So it really does depend on who you end up working with. Also its noteworthy to say that on occasion I have tried to go in right before close (I know that's annoying but I'm a student and I use every second I can) and I am not able to go inside. Once would be ok but it's not happens twice. I'm not saying at closes I mean a few min before and am denied entree so that's been an issue but as long as you go well before close you should be fine (but seriously get there at least a half hour before to be safe) read more

The restroom. My daily shit pains came around 12:30 (as usual). I see a sign for office max so I pulled over and dropped a load. The smell of the restroom was a very unique mixer of bathroom cleaner and the fetus of an unborn child. The walls riddled with soak scum and graffiti. Most businesses out here in the "fine country" are staffed by polite and genteel folks who believe in good ol' fashioned cussomer service. Not this place. Makes me think I'm still living in Decatur. The surly manager seem to have a chip on his shoulder. And I'm a nice guy. Never even showed him my angry eyes. I promise. Anyway, I used to buy all my ink there, and I use a lot of ink. Bought my printer there to. Anyway, my HP Officejet L7590 breaks, see? Never really liked it that much anyway. Always jamming and wasting ink (now you know why I use a lot of ink, see). So I go here to bring back a couple of the spare cartridges I have. Me: See Mr. Manager, here's my story. I bought a $350 printer here plus probably a $1000 worth of ink over the past year, but now my printers broke and I need to buy a new one. Can I trade these spare cartridges in on a new printer? Mr. Surly Manager: Let me see your receipt. Me: I don't have a receipt. A store credit would be good though. I come in here all the time. Mr. Surly Manager: No returns without a receipt. These were brand new cartridges still in the box. No problem. I brought them down to Super Target where they were happy to give me a store credit. Feeling bad though, since they were bought at OfficeMax. Wait ... I'm over it. Anyway, I think they named OfficeMax after Mad Max. At least that's how the guy who worked there acted. He probably ticked off some guy on a bicycle, too, who went home and got some bottles (see previous review). read more

This place is just okay. They have a decent staff, but they're a little slow to help because they're usually busy doing other activities for the boss. He always has them doing something and that sometimes seems more important than actually helping you find what you need. Sometimes... The store is mildly neat. Some sections, like Ink are going to be a mess and you'll more than likely have to hunt through cartridges to find the one that is actually what you are looking for. I left late from the store and there was a young gentleman riding his bicycle through the parking lot and he was throwing glass bottles around, so you might want to watch out if you're there late in the evening. You might run into a little bit of glass on the ground or a random guy throwing it at you. read more

Chad and most other staff at this Office Max are great. They are helpful by phone and don't keep me on hold very long. When I'm in the store, they sometimes even walk me through my list, escorting me to each item so I don't have to wander around looking. Also they cheerfully honor discounts. The store is conveniently located, neatly organized and well-lighted. One staff person started out being abrupt with me, like he didn't want to be there, then got angry when I changed my mind about how I wanted to pay...he could have gotten angry about anything, is my impression. I wanted to buy a desk chair but they only had the floor model. The floor model was ripped and was missing screw caps. I asked if I could get a discount because it's the only one they had and it was damaged and they replied with "no. Quite the opposite. There's a $12 assembly fee" so I guess they care about the sale more than customer satisfaction. read more
