I desired a stuffed animal for a terminally ill young person. Wanda suggested that get one with a lavendar scent. I had never heard of such, but I was intrigued. She offered to set aside a bag of stuffed animals for me to look through when I visited the store. Fortunately, the store is conveniently located in the beautifully decorated Marietta Square. I was also able to slide into a free parking space right in front of the door. When I walked inside the store, it was like walking into a child's dream. Toys were everywhere, but they were very organized. Wanda was clocked out for the evening when I arrived, but a nice young man had received Wanda's instructions and knew exactly what I was after. He showed me a few stuffed animals, but my heart swelled with the cute little animals that you heat in the microwave and the soft scent of lavender permeates the air. I never would have imagined they had something like this on the market. What a wonderful idea! I hope this animal brings some comfort to this beautiful young soul who is really going through it healthwise!

I came shopping with my friend whose daughter is having a baby. They have stuff from new born all the way up to school grades. One of the reasons we popped in here was because a blogger had recommend this shop as a place to get non-high tech toys which we are all in favor of. They certainly have lots of old fashioned, non toxic, non-techie toys for those looking for a more organic and tactile childhood experience for their children. Highly recommend them...

Lots of toys, stuffies, and blind boxes for my little girl to get excited about. The trains in the front caught her attention and the many statues throughout the store she loved too. My wife had a good time helping me look at Gundam models and paints for my Warhammer army. We spent a good amount of time in the gaming room getting her some sleeves for her cards and checking out the books, figures, and tables set up for gaming. Ended up getting a few things and was an easy process. I think for the price of everything we got a good value cause we could have easily gotten everything online but I think part of what makes this place amazing is the passion the staff has for the hobbies, the amount of options they carry, and then if they don't have something you want (Warhammer stuff is what I was looking for) they will order it for you. We will for sure be back again cause I know I'll need more paints and I have my eye on a few models I saw in the Gundam/anime section.

I shop in this center a lot (mostly Publix & Jersey Mike's) and it wasn't until I was walking into Jersey Mike's that I noticed the "Comics" sign. Yay! I love comic shops. They have a lot of comics. Games, toys, figures, some LEGO sets. Nice, clean organized shop. Friendly, welcoming people. They are in a shopping center with Publix - there is plenty of parking.

It's why I kept going there for years. It had always been a place of refuge for me and it was the best comic store around. I'm glad I did. This store has everything a teacher would need. I purchased more decorations for my classroom, I was able to laminate my own posters and I also received 25% off of many items in the store and the lamination was $.49 per square foot. I love this store!…read more I always feel like a kid in a candy store when I visit a Lakeshore location. Many of the educational toys are on display so you can interact with them before you purchase. The sensory choices are literally endless and I easily and happily spend over an hour every time I visit. There's so many options to make math, reading, writing, etc. fun and engaging. And I love that many of the toys show age ranges from child to 99+, because we all need to tap our inner child. Please support these stores and keep them in business for our very precious learners!
