They were extremely diligent in their adherence to sterilization protocols and examination of my initial piercings. Because of Randy's careful examination of my ears, only one ear needed a full re-pierce and the other ear just needed a slight stretch in the piercing. It was much less painful this time around than it was 20 years ago (w/a piercing gun at Claire's!). I had such a great experience here I would definitely return and get additional piercings! My ears healed well (different experience than the first time) and I'm excited to wear earring again!

I had attempted to remove it myself and, TOTAL FAIL. I searched Yelp a number of times and kept returning to Virtue & Vice due to the reviews. One stipulation I had while on the hunt for this place was that I only wanted a female piercing tech. So I called Virtue & Vice telling them what I was looking for and asking if they would be able to accomodate. They were so helpful and patient! I asked a bunch of questions that were quickly answered and the gentleman that I spoke to even gave me the names of the female techs along with their availability. That call sealed the deal for me! While in the area one day I decided to pop into Virtue & Vice and finally tackle this task. HU: the parking lot is quite tight as the plaza is a small one. I didn't have an issue finding a spot but I can only imagine how it would be on a crazy day. The shop was bright and airy, and I was greeted so warmly upon entry by two young ladies at the front counter. I let them know what I was looking for and was told it'd be a 15 minute wait, easy peazy. After a few minutes one of the young ladies approached me asking if I'd accept a male tech assisting me so that I'd get in/out sooner. I declined and appreciated that they didn't push or question my decision to wait. Minutes later my technician Lena came and got me. She was such a sweetheart! She has the same name as one of my favorite people and Yelp CM so I knew she had good energy. When I tell you all that I tried removing the piercing myself about 4x? Why did Ms. Lena get it out (without pain!) within TWO minutes? It may not have even been two minutes. I coughed and boom, removed. I can't believe that I put it off for so long! Definitely returning for some new ink in the future.

Don't remember his name I'm horrible with names but never forget a face. Older black man with locs deep warm voice like a dad lol. But he was great. I got a double nose piercing; two on my right nostril and he made the process fast and held conversation to take my mind off him basically stabbing me in the nose twice lol. I love the placement of them being side to side and he used this measuring tool to check his spacing. I was in and out of there in under 20 mins with paperwork, getting my license copied, paying, picking jewelry, piercing, and the aftercare talk. Clean studio, smells of incense not smoke like a previous review I saw stated. I came in on a Tuesday they do half off select piercings. Picked out two little studs 2 for $40 but if you want the basic traditional studs it's 2 for $20. All in all I'm highly satisfied with how I was serviced and I'll be back when I heal up to possibly change to a hoop. Or get a new piercing. Parking isn't the best. It's just a driveway bc this used to be a house. They could definitely use better parking as the main road is hella busy I had to turn my hazard lights on as I moved my car to let someone out who was there before me.

The piercer was quick, gentle, and precise -- the placement was perfect, and I've had no issues since. During that first visit, I also fell in love with their jewelry selection. I had been on the hunt for unique, exotic nose rings, and Kolo definitely delivered. Yes, their pieces are a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and variety are absolutely worth it -- 10/10 every time. The receptionist is one of my favorite parts of the experience. She has amazing energy, always gives thoughtful suggestions, and shares her personal experiences in a way that makes you feel heard and cared for. The bald guy that works there is also really cool -- calm, professional, and always pleasant on the phone. What I love most about Kolo is that they truly know their craft. They take anatomy seriously and won't pierce you unless it's the right placement for your body. That type of honesty and expertise is rare. He told me he would be at Saints and Sinners until 7:30 p.m. I arrived at 6:30 p.m. and was met by Princess Aarahm sitting at the front with his belly out. From our interaction, he came across as very sassy, awkward, and unprofessional. I said, "I believe I spoke to you on the phone." He explained that changing my dermals would cost anywhere from $10 to $20 per dermal, depending on how difficult they were to change, and that each piece of jewelry would cost $20. When he opened his mouth to speak to me, I was met with the most foul odor I have ever endured. To make matters worse, he had mustard, or some kind of offensive sauce, on his beard. I should have known right then that he had absolutely no idea what he was doing or how to do what I needed. I already had jewelry for one of my dermals. He then said the change could cost about $100. Not that it would be $100--just that it could be, depending on how hard it was for him to unscrew the dermal tops and whether he needed to use tools. I then asked him how long he had been doing dermals. He informed me that he had been doing them since 2004 and then refused to do my jewelry change simply because I asked about his experience. I guess he assumed I was worried about the price, but I was actually concerned about getting an infection from someone who appeared to be a beginner in the piercing world. The fact that he said he didn't know whether he would need tools told me everything I needed to know. Fortunately, I was able to find another piercing shop that changed both of my dermal tops for a total of $30. The process was quick, straightforward, and completed without any issues. I then went to @saintsandsinnersatl and saw @aarahmp listed in the bio. I visited his page to look at his work and found only one photo of dermals, posted in September 2020. I don't know who allowed him to alter their body like that, but if I were the person with those microdermals, I would sue. I wish I could give Princess Aarahm zero stars, but unfortunately, the lowest rating is one.

It's worth noting: we were sent three different confirmation emails with two different appointment times, and we were made aware of other clients scheduled immediately after us--which is entirely unprofessional and not our fault. If you overbook yourself, don't take it out on your loyal customers. We came in excited for a meaningful experience--a sister tattoo that symbolized our bond--but we left feeling belittled and unwelcome. The entire atmosphere lacked warmth, gratitude, and respect for clients who have supported this business before.
