Course is very well maintained with fair but challenging holes. The course eases you into the round with two opening holes that are relatively easy before whacking you up side the head with a very difficult Par 5 on the 4th hole. You hit a semi blind drive into a narrow area, hit a second shot 150 to 175 over a creek and then have a long third shot to the green. If you blow the tee shot you are history on this hole. After number 4, the holes, especially the innocuous but deadly 7th hole, can lead to big numbers. The back nine is not as picturesque as the front nine but is equally challenging. Holes 11 and 14, both par 5s, will give you fits. Prices are reasonable here. Great value for your golfing dollar.

There was a group of 16 (4 sets me 4) in front of us that were the "Woodland Estates or Woodburn Estates", whatever that means. We were behind the last group of 4 ladies beginning on hole 2 and remained behind then the entire day. We were a group of 2, a single behind us and then we picked up another 2 on the back nine. All of us (including our the 4 holding up everyone) were on the tee box at the same time. They didn't acknowledge any of us. Mind you, they were playing from the front tees and the other part of their group had checked out by hole 3. There was no marshal to enforce pace of play. I spoke with the employee in the clubhouse when we were finally done. I explained we were on the course for over 4 hours as a twosome and he said they say 4 hours and 10 minutes is their standard pace of play, for a twosome?? He seemed to not care at all. Granted none of this was his fault but not even a sorry or a we will talk to the group about golf course etiquette. 100% will not be back and will not recommend this course to any players we know. We drove over an hour to play at this course. The course was gorgeous and well maintained but we weren't able to enjoy the day at all.

One of them runs around in a golf cart all day trying to find violations of the homeowners association rules. When you move into the place they soak you for $2,000 initiation fee, and the annual dues are around $550, most of which goes to subsidize the golfers, whose numbers are getting fewer and fewer. You're stuck paying it whether you golf or not. Add the state and local property taxes, which average $1500 on up, and it's just not worth living here, which probably explains why house values are going down and many residents have their homes up for sale trying to get out of the place.

New residents are required to pay $2,000 initiation fee, plus about $500 in annual HOA fees, and then add state and county property taxes of $1300 to $1800. while we were here, we did both the mini golf and the escape room. we stayed in portland for only 5…read moredays and ended up spending two of our evenings here. the mini golf was really well decorated and fun. the staff cleaned our golf clubs before giving them to us (we didnt ask) which made me feel a lot better about how many people have probably touched them. the staff was so friendly every time we talked to one of them and were generally just pleasant to talk to. i feel like i could have made friends with any of them. the escape room was a lot of fun with puzzles that were tricky but not too difficult. we didn't end up finishing it, but we got very close. i would recommend doing this with more than two people. i do have to mention that there are a lot of sudden noises and there are some parts of the room that were a bit scary- not scared for my life but definitely startled. they didn't warn about these but they were very cautious about making sure we were okay with flashing lights and small confined spaces. i wouldnt bring anyone younger than 13 to this room. overall a wonderful experience and a great place to spend an evening (or two)

Today was a great day - I was with my family; brother and dad. My game has come around enough, to where scores are within reason and I am not falling apart or losing interest. We had some coupons to use and I was the recipient of a free round with a cart. Course was lush and friendly. It's in among a vast retirement community neighborhood. Lots of cute homes and patios that were pretty deserted. The day was cool but it didn't rain - huge bonus. Pace of play was great. We played 18 in 3 hours plus. Course consists of three separate nines - Red, Green, Yellow. I shot an 83 and it seems impressive but this is not a full sized course. I'll take it though, there is maybe one or two holes over 300 yards. So if you are learning, this is a good spot. As far as bevs and food go - with CoronaVirus I didn't really check it out. Think they had some deli food you could order to go. In the past they had a large forgettable bar, restaurant. I am interested in returning again. Hospitality was nice at the Pro Shop and they had some really sweet women's clothes. Saw a pair of trousers, "Skinnylicious" was the brand. ha! Putting green, small netted driving range, easy course to ride or walk.

If you're a novice golfer, prob shouldn't play. I got around easy enough. The fairways were will groomed and true to hit from. Greens were large, not tiny. Course was relatively easy if you course manage. I'd prob play 5-6 strokes better after playing it once but shot a decent 82 (tournament) for never having played it before. All in all I will probably play it again. Isn't on my never play again list, which there are a few.

We've had such a great experience as members at The Oregon Golf Club! Gabe is the reason we joined--he's incredibly welcoming and a huge asset to the club. I've been taking lessons with Sunshine, and she's fantastic--super knowledgeable and fun to work with. The food is consistently delicious, and we always look forward to the Thursday night theme dinners. Doing my first hit and giggle tomorrow and it's Barbie theme, how fun is that?!!
