Ordered red beans and rice Louisiana style which by definition has slices or chunks of sausage in it. On menu, it indicates extra charge for link of sausage added. Who would have thought that you'd pay extra for sausage in this dish and who would have thought throwing a link on top would suffice? I'll start by saying that this WAS going to be a 5 star review. The reason it's not is because of how lax everyone became with masks by the end of our meal. Started off fine, most of the staff were being smart about wearing them (as they should be) but after about an hour we noticed 1 by 1 they started coming off (including our waitress who was great up until that point) I get that some people aren't taking it as serious as others but for us to literally chug our drinks JUST to get the hell out of there sucked. -Soft Pretzel 4/5: good appetizer, not as soft as normal but still good. The Dijon mustard it's served with was great. -Burger 4/5: lots of "free" toppings to add. Along with $1/each premium toppings. You also have the choice of beef or bison. Overall very good burger though and the bun was very good as well. Again, I had every intention of giving this place a 5 star review. Very solid last meal before ending our vacation. Great beer selection, friendly staff, & very reasonably priced. But the whole no masks or social distancing during a pandemic was pretty ridiculous. read more

We sat outside today and it was a very nice space. They have outside bathrooms and a wiffelball court. There is also a stage for live music. It is fenced in and a great place to bring kids, too. I had a half dozen wings (naked) with bleu cheese. The bleu cheese was really good. I also had a small salad with ranch. I didn't care for the chipotle ranch but my friend really liked it. Excellent local blue crab crabcakes! Perfectly prepared collareds! The beignets are served with a chocolate sauce, caramel, and their homemade pecan syrup that they use on their chicken and waffles. We came in on a gloomy but warm December day and it wasn't busy so it was perfect! They have a good beer selection and lots of food options! Making our way to Oak Island and wanted a place for lunch and some football. Great atmosphere! TVs labeled so that it was easy to find your team's game, great beer selection and excellent food! My husband had the special of the day, a Philly Steak sandwich, and fries, I had the crab cake on the spinach salad and both dishes were delicious. We stopped in here for a quick lunch and everything was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. I had a cup of chili and the petite house salad. The chili was so yummy with the perfect amount of spice. The house salad was a typical salad and they had good ranch dressing. I have eaten here over the years and the food consistently gets better. My favorite is the shrimp poboy. Comes with a ton of shrimp and this yummy tangy aioli. The Buffalo shrimp app is also amazing. The shrimp are huge so there aren't a ton of them. The "hot" sauce had the perfect amount of heat. My husband suggests get the blackened chicken instead of grilled for the Cajun chicken pasta. He said it wasn't overly cajun. Crab cake and debris sandwich got fair reviews. Love this local spot! read more

This place used to be THE place for a build your own chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, it seems that the owner has decided to cut corners and let the quality of product go down tremendously. While the price of the 8oz chicken sandwich has gone up, which is understandable given the times we are currently in, the actual size of an 8oz piece of chicken seems to have been miraculously cut in half. This is a huge disappointment. Also, they were out of bacon, well actually they had bacon but the kitchen was closing in an hour and a half so they didn't want to cook any. read more

Wow just wow! I've driven passed this gem many times and never stopped. I feel like smacking myself for not whipping into the driveway now! Upon walking in we were greeted with a smile and warm welcome! The inside is cozy and trendy. I love the wooden tables and the ceiling is also wooden as well giving it an old world feel. My husband and I enjoyed everything about it from the food to the drinks which they carry craft beers as well as domestic. They have seating available outdoors and a section that can open up from the inside still covered but a nice breeze. Live music and more here so it's a place to come enjoy and relax with good food, beer, friends, and music. Diff worth the stop and absolutely going back once we are in town again. read more

They make a excellent " bloody mary" with, lemon, lime, celery, huge olives, pickled okra etc.The staff are friendly and attentive here. The outside deck is perfect for smokers and corn hole tourneys and bbq's! Its a nice fenced in area and perfect for gatherings. Its just wee bit congested with the tables near the bar area. Patrons and waitresses bumped our beers way too many times. Table for two, not four would help this problem. Womens bathroom was designed by a dude without a tape measure.Ha! It actually strikes up laughter between ladies trying to wash their hands and access the stalls. There's plenty of parking and easy access off market street. Same plaza as Big lots and Smithfields chicken. They have flat screen tv's for sports fans and a porch area for Semi private parties. There's a huge corner table that seats ten, I would guess. Fries were decent but were not served hot when they came out- felt like they may have been sitting for a bit. Salads were fresh and ranch dressing was real tasty. This place is awesome! Tonight was my first time visiting Ogden Tap Room and I sat at the bar. I had the mussels and they were great. My food and drinks came out fast and the service was excellent. The bartenders didn't let my drinks get low before replacing them and I didn't even have to ask for a refill. I was uneasy at first eating by myself at the bar but the bartenders made me feel like an old friend in no time! The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is laidback with great vibes. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to have a nice meal and to relax! read more

The food was very very sub-par. It wasn't anything special and a lot of it (like the tomato side dish) felt like it came from a can. Ew. I wouldn't go back here to eat just because the food wasn't great so not worth the money for me. Service was fine - not as attentive as they could've been for an almost empty restaurant though. If I'm going to eat "bar food" I know I can find better than this. This all being said, they do have a nice outside area and it's a good place to watch sports and drink beer if that's your kind of thing. read more
