I use self check-out exclusively, but often need assistance and never wait more than a minute to get it. I am very comfortable here as it is in my neighborhood and I'm familiar with the lay out--my review is based on my comfort. While the Forest location offers far more variety in produce, etc, I am satisfied with this Kroger because of the convenience. They offer enough selection of a few things that are mandatory for me: organic produce and gluten-free frozen/packaged foods. From time to time I use the pick-up and delivery options from Kroger and that has also been a pleasure. They have called before replacing items that are not in stock. The one time I had an issue, I was offered a gift card for the inconvenience. It may be because I am blessed by the Universe, but every time I park there I get a space right by the cart return. I have lost my wallet there twice and both times the staff have retrieved it and held it for me. This speaks to their honesty and the honesty of the customers who shop there (and also my favor by the Universe...). Right now there's a lot of construction for the gasoline pumps so it can be crowded and congested. There's been a lot of upheaval because of this--people don't like it. I zero care about it because I can go to the grocery store early and I'm typically not in any hurry to shop. But if you're rushed for time, it may cause some hang-ups.

Plus, he gets a kick out of filling from the old style pumps from before the pumps became gas dispensing ATM machines that play non-stop commercials. Parking is limited, but if you live in Wintergreen, Graves Market should be your go-to stop before you start up the mountain and check-in before you go because there is not a cell service at that location.

Paid at the pump and gassed up. When I was done - I waited for the receipt to print off - but instead the pump displayed a message along the lines of: "Cashier has receipt." So I sauntered in to get my receipt. Guy printed it off and handed it to me. I asked him how he was doing - he replied he was about to be really good as he was off. As I was pulling out of the Sunoco - they were turning off the lights and closing things down. Close call - although I could have gotten fuel next door at the Exxon.
