Finally a Mediterranean restaurant here in Elko! Had lunch there earlier today, my falafel sandwich was pretty good. Was expecting it in a pita pocket, but here it is served on flat bread and then rolled up like a taquito... a bit messy. I ordered it as a "meal" which includes 2 sides... save your $$ and just get the sandwich. My 2 sides were taziki and hummus at $10.00, neither came with pita chips so I grabbed a spoon... the serving size was about a tablespoon each. read more

We were traveling between Utah and Nevada. We yelped for a deli and came across the reviews for Ogi. This place is GREAT!! It is only opened until 3pm. They serve breakfast but we were there for lunch. I ordered the lamb grinder. Sliced lamb with cheese all grilled. Complete with au jus sauce. It melted in my mouth. We were taking our chances on this deli because my wife is very particular with her diet. She created a made to order vegetarian sandwich. It was excellent. The staff is amazing. Our gal took the time to ask questions of my wife about her particular sandwich and offered her suggestions. We were not made to feel uncomfortable with my wife's detailed order. All staff members are friendly. The place is very clean. It is crowded at the height of lunch hour so a bit noisy. But for us it was like a background white noise. I highly recommend this stop if you are driving through Elko Nevada. read more

Just had a date with my girl and was pleasantly surprised with the food here. Hands down the sandwich was the best I've ever had. From the bread to the thinly slices tomatoes, everything was delicious and perfectly prepped. You could definitely tell they put time and attention into their product and they presented it well. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. We were greeted with smiles and amazing attitudes from the ladies at the registers. I'm a former Elko County resident and I visit family in the Elko area whenever possible. Some of the old favorite restaurants are not as good as they used to be. Ogi Deli made my day. You can tell when food is prepared with love, and this place has that. It's spotless and everything we ordered was amazingly flavorful. Let me just say that as good as the food here is, and it is great, the ladies who run the place are a fabulous group of gals and I enjoy spending my lunch dollars at a place where I like the people who own it. This is going to be a short review because all I need to tell you is that I does not matter what you order, you will enjoy it ................. simple. I have tried just about everything these ladies make and I love all of it, I love that they will make it just the way that you ask for it, and I love how friendly they all are while they are doing it!! If I have to suggest one thing it would be the soup, every single soup they make is incredible but if it is on the menu the day you go you must try the Turkey Noodle, it is un-freaking-believeable!!!! Traveling this past week through Elko wanted to find a good sandwich and not any chain place....this was legitimately a great sandwich. The service was a little slow getting our food but the final outcome was worth it. I tried the chicken and blue cheese sandwich with green apples. Not only did it take over 20 minutes to wait for our sandwiches we ordered to discover that that they were not Grilled as per our request & the menu, they were tasteless & no longer authentic like they were before moving. The staff is very friendly and the menu is huge, with options (like my wrap) that I didn't expect in a small town. Stopped here on a roadtrip. Tired of Subway and wanted something semi healthy. This place was perfect. Lots of fresh salads, paninis, and sandwiches. Food was good and service was wonderful. Stopped here on the way back to Sacramento to grab a quick bite. Two ladies behind the counter greeted us and were friendly and super helpful. They didn't mind that we took awhile to order. I ordered the horseradish beef panini and my dad and uncle both had the french dip. We were all satisfied with our sandwiches commenting that it was better than eating at the subway down the street. I would have to agree with another reviewer that the sandwiches were great but nothing amazing or mindblowing. Definitely did the trick for a quick bite to eat and to get back on the road. YUM YUM YUMMMMMM!!! I was BEYOND excited to find this wonderful gem in Elko! As a celiac, our yearly road trip to Montana is aways stressful when mealtimes roll around. (yes, Celiacs can be foodies, too) Ogi's was a DREAM! Fresh gluten free bread, baked goods, salads and sides! I had the Cowboy special sandwich and it was amazing. Staff is super celiac-knowledgeable (owner has celiac) and there's a designated kitchen area. My non-celiac Family also raved about their meals. They had lamb sandwiches, Tri-tip sandwiches, Soups and salads and were very happy. They also have killer baked goods and a great bar. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!!! read more

The food was great, the waitresses were very nice. The only thing that was a little bit of a problem was some of the workers were talking very loud and cussing in their conversation. I usually go in and order two sandwiches, but once my first sandwich is being made, the second associate will almost always ask the person behind me what they want. We were driving through Elko last week on our way to Colorado for Easter. We saw Ogi Deli on yelp and made a stop. It was a great choice! I had the Apple and Walnut salad which was huge for the price. My husband had the Basque Solomo Sandwich and clam chowder soup. He said the sandwich was the best he's ever had! He had it on the French roll which is baked in house. The place was packed at 12:30, but the service was incredible and the food arrived very quickly.
