Nothing to write home about. They couldn't let me make my salad really quickly before taking it all the way down? All the containers were literally still in there and as soon as I walked in and said I wanted a salad aloud to my boyfriend, the female employee reached in an immediately took out the salad bowl. This is my first time visiting here so I'm really hoping the pizzas will make up for it because right now, I don't really want to come back. I'm not a big pizza fan because everybody has different sauce and it gives you heartburn afterwards so I avoid eating pizza at different places cause I know I can eat Pizza Hut and it doesn't give me the heartburn but I'm going to tell you this place makes an amazing pizza or multi pizzas because we had four different kinds, oh they were so good, good portions good sauce the cheese was melting when you pull in a big cheese trail comes off. I had no expectations going in and was pleasantly surprised. Service was good. My pizza that I ordered turned out really well. Note to future patrons from out of town, the thin crust is pretty thick, and what I would consider a medium crust. We're not from the area, though, and different areas have different traditions, so no complaints, it was delicious! A very family-friendly place. Excellent pizza! I have tried most of the different pizza offerings and have never had a bad one yet. My favorite is the Chicago but also like the standard pepperoni with fresh green peppers, the tostada, the combo and the vegetarian. This place has definitely gone downhill. We arrived shortly after 8pm and they close at 9. There were at least 4 other groups/families in the restaurant, but the salad bar was already being cleaned and they wouldn't let us get salad. We ordered 3 personal pizzas and garlic bread and waited over 40 minutes. We didn't even get the 'garlic bread' (which is actually garlic and cheese on pizza crust) until we got out pizza. Food is mediocre at best, customer service is rude and unsanitary, i came in a couple weeks ago and one of the cooks had no hair net on, no mask, and half their ass crack out. Just recently i came in again and my friend went to the salad bar to grab the smallest bit of ranch without knowing that they charge for it, one of the ladies in the back came out and rudely told my friend that they charge for ranch and insulted her by asking if she couldn't see the sign. I called to check if the offer pizza by the slice, and they do not. They have Mini, small, medium, large, extra large pies. The Mini is a personal pie. I tried the plain cheese and veggie (mushroom, onion, peppers, olive) mini pies. The flavor was great and the quality was great! The veggies were not baked in. They were just spread on top (I wonder if this was because we asked for the fresh option). They are a very friendly establishment. The place definitely looked like a barn though. It wasn't very clean (floors). That shouldn't take away from the quality of the pizza. The best part (for kids); they have an arcade style rocking horse that you don't have to feed coins to. We stopped into the 'Barn back in 2007 or so on our way from CA to UT. We stopped in here after the local chain 'Hut was understaffed and non-responsive. The pizza is good and has a unique crust which some have described as saltine-like, but I like it. Since our initial stop in 2007, we have stopped two other times and both times have been good. The most recent trip was on a cold December evening (e.g. 5 F). The place was bustling, and there were a few families celebrating birthdays. The service is counter style and the gal taking my order was gruff. When I asked what size a large pizza was, she pointed to a dimly lit wall that was next to impossible to see. The pizzas were loaded with toppings including cheese. A bit too much if there can be such a thing. The crust is a very thin, burnt in some areas, cracker style crust. This is definitely not an authentic pizzeria. And for Fifty Three bucks and some change, I would have appreciated a true Italian pizza. Bottom line: Not bad, but over priced.
