It's not huge but big enough to see the wonder in your kids eyes. I would recommend letting the little one be free to pick out something that they want with no limit. My daughter loved this place when she was young but as the teen years approach she found a few things that she liked but not the crazy amount of toys when she was younger. It is locally owned and is another business that used to be in Lahaina before the devastating wildfires but now has a home in Kihei. It is a hidden gem. Theres a wide assortment of toys and gifts for all ages and the prices are pretty reasonable. Aunty Yvette who was at the register was super helpful and full of aloha. She was so sweet to myself and my little one. We walked out of there with a bag full of goodies and we will definitely be back. Support local and check it out.

It's not big, but it has a really great selection. Blue Ginger has about nine stores, all in Hawaii. They're stylish island clothes and, most important, they specialize in matching mother/daughter outfits. Yelpers visiting Maui should know that.

You'll find t-shirts, toys, jewelry, neck pillows, coin purses, plushies, and even bibs made with Hawaiian printed quilt fabric! This open air shop is located at the Kahului Airport on the Island of Maui, near Gate 16. There's a small bit of aloha for everyone to take home! (Even for tall kids like me!)

It didn't feel like a salesperson pouncing on a sale. It felt almost like a slumber party atmosphere! The original sales gal and 2 other workers were now involved and they made it so fun! Once I got in the fitting room, it felt like a fashion show. But instead of everyone telling me "everything looks great/cute" (toxic positivity), they were using their expert language and asking ME how I felt or what I thought. I really appreciated that! They grabbed me other sizes and showed me other versions of outfits (wide leg pants vs. oversized button down vs. shirt dress). I actually wore one of the shirt dresses out! As I was checking out, I noticed another part of the store. I completely walked right past it! And that was their jewelry side! I fell in love with 2 necklaces on that side! By this time, the owner had come out and it was a full blown party. I recently lost my mom - out of habit, I went to call her to ask which of the 2 necklaces she loved best. I had to use the gals at the store to be my stand-in-mom-energy, and I ended up treating myself to both! Now those pieces were expensive (both 14k!) but I wear them every single day.
