Dream Wedding is a photography studio that offers a plethora of services for event management. The managers, Sarah and Bobo, always responded within one hour and knew me by name. The studio treated me like I was VIP every time I visited and made my bridesmaids look so beautiful. Our photographer, Even, delivered my wedding album 5 days post wedding with 1700 edited images. I don't think any other studio can top this one. They moved to a new location earlier this year and they have a much larger showroom and dressing room. The reason why I chose Dream Wedding over any other studio is their transparent pricing, easy communication, and I felt that I could trust them with delivering quality services. Where do I even begin? When me and my husband first got engaged, I just knew every married friend we had would throw different suggestions at us. I knew exactly what I didn't want, but wasn't sure what I wanted so me and my mom were shopping around. But finding DW as a one stop shop was the best wedding planning decision we made. When we first met Bobo, we instantly clicked. My mom, husband and I literally chatted with her for 2 hours and we even started trying on dresses for the different shoots that we wanted. You should definitely walk in with a budget (as you should for every wedding vendor you use) and Bobo will help you figure out what is the best bang for your buck and how the overall package will look. We actually needed their team for 2 weddings so we were glad it was a one stop shop. (We got engaged in February, chinese banquet wedding in July and castle wedding in December - crazy I know for 10 months timeframe.) If you find photographers/videographers, they typically go for 3k each and doesn't include much. But with DW, we got a great package, 2 engagement shoots, hair and makeup, and free dress/suit rentals!! And when I tell you this... ITS A FREAKING STEAL!!! Hair/makeup - They did my hair and makeup for our two engagement shoots and two wedding days. They also did hair and makeup for our moms, sisters and bridesmaids! Let me tell you how crazy that is because it's sooo expensive outside and their makeup artist did an amazing job! (absolutely love the way my brows came out and they use all top brand products!!!! Fenty, Laura Mercier, Stila, Bobbi Brown, etc) They do ask you bring your makeup if you want your own products. (I brought it all the time and forgot it for my wedding day haha but they were easily able to match my color for my foundation and lips) Now for dresses/outfits - they offer you rentals for free! We borrowed 4 outfits for our engagement shoots (and had 2 of our own). For our chinese wedding, we borrowed a wedding dress, accessories, chinese gown, qipao, and (groom's) chinese suit jacket. For the castle wedding, we borrowed my 2nd (white) dress and accessories. (If I found DW earlier, I would've saved 2.5k because I had just ordered a custom made dress a week before finding them!!). They even offer dresses for bridesmaids.. but they did not fit my style so we passed on that. Our moms/dads were also able to borrow dresses from them but they ended up finding something else they liked. We didn't have flowergirls/ringboys.. but DW also has outfits for them to borrow. Photographer, videographer. We absolutely LOVEEEE Even!! He's so funny and down to earth. His personality is just the perfect touch of professional and personable. If you speak Chinese, you're in for a bonus treat with his jokes. We did work with another photographer and videographer who was also very sweet and professional. But we worked with Even for 3 days so we felt like we had more connection with him (and sat in a 2 hour car ride with him for our shoot since I picked a super far place). Bonuses - we got picture albums and a big picture for our wedding day. It really depends on your package because we omitted some things and kept some things as non negotiable. Their picture albums are so beautifully made and they edit it so you look even prettier haha! We loved our big blown up picture for our wedding day!!!! Sarah - she's amazing!! She is the person who runs around and does it all. From reminding us about our photoshoots and how to prepare, to steaming and tailoring the dresses, to reminding us how much to tip, to helping us pick out pictures for the album...she is amazing! Truly loved working with her and she even helped with giving me opinions on which dress to choose. There were some dresses that don't fit me or wouldn't look nice.. and she just knew it right away. (I had my mom with me so I had to make sure I tried on the dresses mom picked even tho i hated them LOL). Bobo - she's a superwoman! She helped me with so many questions that we needed to figure out for our chinese ceremony. I have very modern parents while my husband has a more conservative/traditional family/relatives/grandparents. So there were lots of things we asked Bobo to help us with - tea ceremony, who's names to call, how should we do table seatings, etc. She also helped us with the timelines for both weddings and let us know where we should leave more time/take time out. My favorite thing about DW besides the price and professionalism is how personable and communicative they are. They were constantly communicating with us in our group chat. We would answer our questions super quickly. They do offer other packages : mc/dj, limo, decoration referrals we didn't use those but did use their photobooth for both weddings. This review is so long overdue. I got married in October 2021. Found dress and veil in July 2021. I knew I didn't wanna buy a dress that would cost so much just to wear for a few hours. So when I found a place that I could rent a dress, I immediately booked an appt over the phon. I had an hour to browse and try on as many dressss as I liked. Sarah was very kind and helped me with the fitting. Thankfully I was able to find a dress and veil! The dresses are laced corsets so with the right shoes the dress should work for any size. The price is very affordable. $300 for dress rental and $35 for veil. You also have to put down a deposit but when you return the dress you get that money back. I picked up my dress the day before my wedding and returned it the day after my wedding. They clean, steam and sanitize everything so it looks perfect for your day. We are so grateful to have found Dream Wedding! Bobo and Sarah were amazing at getting any last minute details on time and at an instant! Their service is outstanding and they really cared about arranging and making sure everything turned out well for our wedding. They reminded us every time of any details that needed to be done. However, my husband and I were very impressed with our photographer Evan. He has the best style in photography with 10+ years. He knows where the best shots/spots are taken when you do your pre-wedding photoshoot. The turnout rate for the pictures were extremely quick! He was also very patient on telling us how to best pose for the pictures which prepared us for the wedding day! The videographer Bo was also very sweet on the day of the wedding and the video turned out fantastic! The preview had a beautiful story-line and was well thought out. Last but not least, my hair and makeup artist came in clutch! If there is anything that needs to covered up or enhanced, she's got you! What a waste of time. TLDR horrible communication, low quality of dresses They are horrible at communication. If you don't speak Mandarin, don't bother coming here. I called in and was greeted in Chinese, so my immediate question is if they speak English because otherwise we will not understand each other. They said yes so I proceeded to book an appointment for 11. I called right away to change my appointment to 3pm and because it seemed like the lady from the other line understood that I'm still keeping my 11am appointment, I REPEATED myself and said I can come at 3. I come to flushing, all the way from Jersey, because they don't have photos of dresses they have available for rent, and it looked like they double booked. They didn't even communicate that to us. Just told us where the dresses are and left us. Everything else ended up being self serviced, and we left not wanting to waste our time anymore. The quality of dresses is horrendous, I wouldn't wear anything of the sort to THE day. Rentals for wedding dresses are $400-500 so I guess that's what you get. read more

I got my wedding pictures taken here, I have to say the service is great. They cater to a lot of the Asian community, as well as Asian American too. I was very impressed with the wedding video's they have. The sales manager BoBo is also very fun to talk to, and connect with during the process. Great service and super easy no fuss. I was searching for a wedding dress rental service and saw Dream Wedding. When you walk in, they have two beautiful rows of dresses just hanging for you to try on. I am very small and petite (5'0, 94lbs) so know dresses in general are going to require some sort of alteration on me no matter what, but wanted to give this a try with rentals. Sarah is super attentive and knows what would work on you. I did not have any desire to wear mermaid style, but I decided to try it on. Ironically, it wasn't so bad and was slowly growing on me. Because of my short stature, I don't have much of a choice and tried on 3 dresses. They all really weren't that bad surprisingly! The lady helping me change into dresses suddenly leaves in the middle to go pick up lunch for her and her coworkers. No heads up or anything. Also mid-trying on a dress, I ask her a question and thought she was looking for a similar style on her phone but apparently NOT she was just texting someone else. But through it all, I'm so thankful to have found Bobo and her team to make the process go smoothly. My husband and I got engaged in November 2020 and we already had a wedding date in mind - 4/3/21 - so time was ticking. I knew I wanted to find a wedding studio to rent my wedding dress from since I'm never gonna wear it again and I also wanted to find a place with packages that will eliminate a lot of headache. This place did exactly that and helped me achieve all my goals within a short time span. We pretty much immediately starting shopping around for wedding studios and went to check out several of them within Brooklyn and Queens. We live in Brooklyn so ideally we would've wanted to find one there but all the ones we went to clearly just wanted money and weren't actually concerned about my wedding. When you walk into Dream Wedding, you get a different vibe - homey, cozy, welcoming. The storefront itself is a cute little space and is buried within Northern Boulevard amongst a million other stores but when you walk in, it's a whole different feel. You forget about the hustle bustle of Flushing and you're in wedding world! Bobo and her team are very knowledgeable and experienced. Sarah dealt with all the clothing and size adjustments. She is very kind and sweet. Meiling is the master makeup artist/hairdresser that works unbelievably fast. She did the makeup and hair of my 6 bridesmaids, the 2 mothers, and me within 2 hours on wedding day! I told her that I didn't want my makeup to be too heavy and she did an amazing job. I showed her pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like and it looked identical to the picture. I was so satisfied with her work and got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. Part of the package includes the pre-wedding shoot and you get to choose two locations. My husband and I chose Top of the Rock in the city and a cafe in Queens where we have fond memories. The photographer, Jacky, is so funny and experienced. He knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We had a blast that day and we got our photos so quickly! Same with wedding day pics. We are so in love with how the photos came out and are so thankful to have our special day captured through these pictures. Lastly, it definitely helps that Dream Wedding's prices are unbeatable for what's included in the packages. But ultimately what I love about Dream Wedding is that they actually care about you and they work extremely hard without complaining. Their wedding packages are fairly priced, and they helped us find an appropriate venue that could meet our needs with a Chinese/American fusion wedding. They've got a wide selection of dresses (both wedding and cocktail) and a less wide selection of suits, so we didn't need to get our own. Out of all the wedding studios I've looked at, Dream Wedding was the one that I went with and I'm 1000% glad that I did! I've looked at a few places in Brooklyn (8th Avenue) and some places in Flushing. None of those places I've looked at seems satisfying. Out of curiosity, I reached out to my friend to see what they have to say about Dream Wedding and it turns out that he had nothing but great things to say about Bobo and her team. When I went in for a consultation, Bobo made me feel welcomed. You know how some people can be pushy and really try to sell you their services? It was nothing of that sort. Bobo was very professional and very good at what she does. She made me understand how things work and really guided me through the process. She's like the event planner you wanted all along! She made sure the shooting day went smoothly. She's very accommodating. Sarah helped me with the fitting prior to they shoot. She's a very kind lady. She gave me honest opinions of what worked and what didn't work for my body type. Meiling, the makeup artist, is awesome! I told her I wanted to look more natural and she did a great job. She even came with me to the location of my choosing and I'm forever grateful for that because it was really hot and humid that day. Last but not least, the photographer Jacky, was easy and fun to work with. He's really professional as well. He made the photoshoot very fun even though it was very hot and humid. Look no further if you are seeking an one-stop wedding studio, Dream Wedding is the one. Four months after our engagement, I started wedding planning (so much fun...). First line of business was the venue, and we chose Westbury Manor. We live in Brooklyn, therefore, choosing a wedding studio in Flushing made the most sense in terms of distance and time for the actual wedding day. I read through all the Yelp reviews and visited their official website before reaching out to Bobo (manager) for a quote. Bobo got back to me the very next day with a sample package. You can customize your package however you like, just be upfront about your budget and what you want. Weddings are expensive, but you don't need everything that other couples do. For example, we omitted videography but kept the engagement photos. When I visited Dream Wedding for the first time, I met Sarah (dress specialist). I would say we clicked instantly. Since our package included engagement photos, we met Even (photographer) and Jamie (makeup artist) before the wedding. They were such a delight, and we felt at ease during the photoshoot. My husband had more fun chatting with Even than the actual photoshoot, haha. We also booked Jamie to come along with us for makeup and hair touch-up. The photos came out amazing, only minor photoshopping was necessary. Fast forward to May 23, our wedding day. We arrived at the studio at noon for hair, makeup, and dresses. Our package included not only outfits for me and my husband, but also bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen suits. Jamie did an amazing job, I felt beautiful on my wedding day. Sarah wore many hats that day, from dressing all of us, stitching dresses on the spot, curling hair, and many more. Even met us at the venue and was ready to shoot. Due to heavy traffic, we were waiting on two bridal party members. Even was accommodating enough to take pictures of my bridesmaids and their husbands in the meantime. Just got the photos back (see for yourself), and Even captured all the highlights and more. His photography skills are unquestionable. Lastly, we cannot forget about James (officiant and MC). James was so considerate and talented as our bilingual MC. His calmness and sense of humor brought us smiles throughout the night. I saw James dancing to Macarena towards the end of the night. Some of my guests forgot how the dance was supposed to go, and James lead the way with a demonstration. I recently got married and chose to use Dream wedding studio for my ceremony and reception. When I first met BoBo the coordinator I had a good feeling. She was on point with all of her recommendations and ideas. The vendors that we met through her continued to impress. The service and attention to detail were top notch. In a nutshell, Dream wedding is like a one-stop shop for all things wedding. Honestly speaking, I don't even know the extent of all their services, but Bobo has been very helpful at explaining what they have and figuring out a good deal. So, if you want actual "what do you have" details, just call her. Make an appointment. Be polite. As for me, I got everything I needed for my wedding from them. -- It was just so convenient. Instead of running from place to place getting a dozen different phone numbers, negotiating, comparing prices... I just called up Dream Wedding like, "hey do you have this?" They do. The dress rental, suit, bridesmaid dresses, limo, photoshoot, mc, dj, hair and make-up...these guys don't just have it all, and they do it all. Which leads me to my second point. While the whole team has been awesome, I must give it up for Sarah. My girl's been there for every dress appointment. Helping me schedule, giving me advice on outfit choices...she'll even teach you (and your mom, sis, and cousin if you bring them) how to put on these dresses. Can't get matching jewelry? She's got you. Hair pin isn't matching your bracelet? Done. "Oh, this dress is so pretty but it's too big!" She does alterations. Seriously, Sarah? If you're reading this, I wanna know. My husband and I chose dream wedding among all the wedding studios in flushing. We compare prices and the service we can get. Some studio says they can handle ten weddings in one day. That really scared me off. I want myself to be treated like a queen on my wedding day, not waiting on line to get my make up done or random photographer or videographer whoever have available on my wedding day. So if you are looking for amazing, 1 on 1 service, this is the studio that you should go for. Everyone works here are friendly, and of course very professional. Bobo the manager , she's a very caring, fun person. Anything u wish for, she can organize to make it happen.She also gave me a lot of great ideas for my wedding. I really like the make up artist Yuen, she listens to what I want with my make up and patiently alter parts that I don't like. I really like my make up and the hair that she styled. Alex and jimmy the photographer and videographer, It's not easy to have 12 hours of work non stop. They handle it professionally. They taught us poses to have the best outcome . They capture all the great moments and also small details. The pictures all came out perfectly. Best angels best lighting. We didn't get the video yet. But We are sure it will be amazing.
