From the friendly and knowledgeable staff to the variety of unique treatments they offer, I was excited to try the EMSculpt Neo for body contouring and the Clearlift Laser for my face. I don't know about you but whenever I am traveling, I get so busy that it's so easy to forget to free up time for yourself for routine, much-needed self-care. That's why I love going to Oh Bloom Gyn to do the EmSculpt and Clearlift because it is quick, efficient, and worth your time and money. So the EMSculpt helps target stubborn fat, build muscle, and is completely non-invasive with zero downtime! You can do it on your abdomen, arms, thighs, butt, and more. I also tried the Clearlift Laser facial, which is amazing because there's also no downtime. You can literally make an appointment during your lunch break. My skin looked noticeably brighter and clearer after just one session! Both treatments were totally painless for me, and I can already tell that with consistent sessions, the results will only get better. Other services they provide are Botox, filler injections, and hair removal too! The clinic is warm and inviting and the restrooms are clean. Parking was easy and they are located on the first floor. Dr. Tran-Kim and their nurses on staff namely, Khue and Camilla, are gentle, personable, and careful about their work. I give them my full trust and it makes me very happy they are attentive to their patients. I always leave feeling satisfied and look forward to more sessions. They are having holiday specials soon, so I cannot wait to go back to feel and look my best for the upcoming holiday season!

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this OBGYN office. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely cared for. The entire staff was so kind, attentive, and sweet. They made me feel comfortable, heard, and never rushed. The provider took the time to listen to my concerns and explained everything with patience and compassion, which made such a difference. It's rare to find a healthcare team that treats you not just as a patient, but as a person. I left feeling supported and reassured. I'm so grateful to have found this office and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional, compassionate care. They also offer aesthetic treatments, and they offered a complementary skin analysis! Highly recommend 100000%

I first saw Dr. Tran-Kim on September 10, 2025, for pelvic pain. She performed a manual pelvic examination and advised me to return in a month for a Pap smear. On October 8, 2025, during my follow-up visit, Dr. Tran-Kim told me that my biopsy result showed "normal to severe," meaning I had precancerous cells, and that I needed surgery. I was shocked, as I had not experienced any symptoms and my last Pap smear was only two years ago. When I mentioned that I believed I was scheduled for a Pap smear that day, she said it wasn't necessary because she had already done "something higher up." She then performed another manual pelvic exam "to confirm," and afterward told me that "it looked alright this time," asking me to return the following week. Before leaving, I requested copies of my pathology and biopsy records. The staff told me they needed the doctor's signature before releasing them and would email them once signed. Shortly after, Dr. Tran-Kim called me into a private room and said that my Pap "looked okay" (even though the result was not yet available) and that surgery was not necessary because my biopsy was mild. I was confused as to how her diagnosis had changed again within the same hour. I asked firmly if I could still have my biopsy report, but she said she had "closed it up already." I told her to please send it to me. I also submitted written requests through both email and the patient portal that same day. On October 9, I called the office to follow up and was told that Dr. Tran-Kim had not yet signed the records and would not return until Monday, so I should expect them then. On October 13, I again requested my records via the patient portal. The office called back, asking if I could meet with the doctor because "she wanted to explain it to me," but I declined and asked that the records simply be sent. I already had another appointment scheduled for October 15 and just wanted access to my records. The staff said they would send them the next day. On October 14, having still received nothing, I asked my PCP's office to directly request my records. That afternoon, when I called Dr. Tran-Kim's office again, the staff informed me that I never had a biopsy done in their office. They said the doctor had only performed an abdominal pelvic exam on September 10 and a Pap smear on October 8, and that my Pap result was still pending. Based on that information, I canceled my October 15 appointment. This contradiction suggests a possible medical record mix-up or misdiagnosis, which has caused me significant confusion and distress. My experience with this office has been deeply concerning. Dr. Diana Tran-Kim's office has never acknowledged what caused the misdiagnosis. Their repeated delays, lack of transparency, and refusal to provide timely records are unacceptable. I will be looking for a new OB-GYN.

MAN is that so much easier said than done! As I lingered for awhile at 9/10 centimeters, I was becoming more and more tired, scared, and indecisive on my next steps for bringing my son into the world. Every contraction made me less confident that I could do it, but Dr Lao was one of the 3 in the room who reassured me and helped me through! My biggest praise has to go to her CALM CALM demeanor. What a difference that made! She was incredibly patient with my indecisiveness, never pressed me for what she wanted over what I wanted, but also (so) kindly gave her recommendations and gave me both the space to think things through and all the options before me. She also took great care and extra steps in physically delivering my son, and honored my wish to delay cord clamping until the cord turned white. Never with a hint of annoyance either. Thank you Dr. Lao!!

On October 9, 2024, I was induced at 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant. In the beginning, some staff members were attentive and helpful, but after midnight everything changed. The care became careless and dismissive. I had to receive the epidural three different times because I could still fully feel my contractions and was in extreme pain. Each time, my fiancé or my mom had to leave the room and ask nurses to come check on me because no one was responding on their own. Every time, I was told, "You're fine," even though I was terrified and clearly not fine. One nurse checked my dilation and told me I was 7 cm dilated. I was crying and screaming in pain when Dr. Akerman walked in and said, "What is going on?" I explained that I could still feel every contraction despite the epidural. Instead of taking me seriously, he laughed and said, "We've already given you so much." He then said he was going to check my dilation again. I told him I had literally just been checked 5-10 minutes earlier, but he ignored me. My fiancé asked him to please go slowly and explain what he was doing because I was already extremely sore from how many cervical checks had been done. At that point, I already had a catheter and another internal monitor inserted, so I was already in significant discomfort. Despite being asked multiple times to be gentle, Dr. Akerman ignored us and aggressively inserted his hand, causing me to scream in pain in a way I never have before. He continued moving his fingers around roughly while I cried out. I felt completely violated. Afterward, he suddenly stated I was 9 cm dilated, which confused me because only minutes earlier I had been told I was 7 cm. My fiancé became upset and confronted him, but Dr. Akerman completely ignored him. At that point, I decided I wanted a C-section because I could no longer handle the pain or emotional distress. They prepared me for surgery and took my fiancé and mom to another room to wait. Then, moments later, they returned and told me another emergency C-section was being done first, meaning I had to wait another 15 minutes while still screaming in pain and discomfort. I remember thinking, "Is mine not an emergency too?" When it was finally my turn, they administered anesthesia, but I was given so much that I blacked out completely. I was not awake for the birth of my son. I never got to experience hearing or seeing him come into the world, or seeing my fiancé cut the umbilical cord. It has been over a year and a half, and I still carry the trauma from this experience every single day. What should have been the most beautiful moment of my life became one of the most painful and violating experiences I have ever gone through. I will never return here again.

His humor is very dry and he is very direct, but for someone with a high risk pregnancy, a little laughter feels nice to break the tension. Dr Ashrafian and his NP were equally wonderful. Wait time can get pretty long depending on the day. For the positive, I would say that after meeting everyone, Dr. Lao was the best here. She was caring, empathic, and knowledgeable. She listened to every concern. She was also a great surgeon. My pregnancy and delivery experience were made better by her. Sarah who works the front desk was also very friendly and sweet. Now for the negative. I had an IUD placement at the office by Dr. Barr that ended up being a very traumatic experience. I received a diagnosis afterward that the IUD perforated through my uterus into another organ. I wish that the deployment was stopped if something didn't seem right. Some offices offer ultrasound-guided IUD insertion, so look into that instead. I felt like I went through hell and back the subsequent months after insertion. The office tried to fix it, but the experience just went downhill from there. I had multiple procedures, but it couldn't be removed. I requested CT/MRI scans, but didn't get them. The IUD location was discussed as possibly being in the stomach cavity, which it wasn't. Scheduling appts were also difficult. I ended up going to UCI and thankfully met an experienced Obgyn who found it through ultrasound, confirmed with MRI scans, and collaborated with another specialist to remove it for me. All in all, I would still recommend Dr. Lao for pregnancy and childbirth. However, I would be hesitant to recommend anything else here.

After a four-year fertility journey with many ups and (mostly) downs, I was very anxious throughout my pregnancy about something going wrong. I also had significant, daily physical discomfort (including nausea throughout all nine months of gestation!). From my husband's and my very first appointment, we were impressed with Dr. Kurtzman's office. They were able to schedule us around our travel plans for our first visit. The scheduling/administrative staff members are very efficient and great at getting back with patients swiftly about both scheduling matters and medical questions requiring the doctor's input. They effectively multi-task and are very invested in positive patient experiences. When you call the office, you speak to a real human located inside the building! No automated phone system, portal-only care, or extra hoops to jump through blocking you from receiving timely care. When I once needed to speak to the doctor about a time-sensitive matter on a weekend, I was able to promptly contact him by phone without any issues. The physical office itself is spacious, impeccably maintained, and beautifully furnished. Medical and nursing staff, including the sonographers and personnel monitoring non-stress tests (NSTs), are good-natured and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs, expressing happiness and excitement when monitoring the baby and a desire to meet the baby once they are "on the outside!" In addition, Dr. Kurtzman is clearly an expert! He addressed my many questions thoroughly during each visit, and with empathy and caring. He is passionate about the work he does (including his research contributions to the field), and it really shows, having a significant positive impact on the quality of care patients receive. I always felt I was in good hands and never a burden. He took my complaints seriously and prescribed several medications to ease my discomfort. His office sent prescriptions to the pharmacy swiftly and effectively communicated with my regular obstetrician's office, as well as my daughter's future pediatrician. Furthermore, when I was at risk of pre-term birth, he increased my medications, monitoring, and physical restrictions, additionally ordering steroid injections in the event of an early delivery. It all paid off, and my daughter and I had a smooth induction at 39 weeks, on the day I wanted. She was born healthy and well. In a nutshell, the quality of care I received at OCMFM was significantly better than my experiences at other OB offices, with my family members and me feeling supported as individuals in more of a personalized, human-centered way that is hard to come by in these days of AI assistants, online portals, and low-contact care. I would highly recommend their services to anyone with a high-risk pregnancy who wants to feel respected, valued, and attentively cared for as a patient.

Also as a queer individual, there's an extra layer to reproductive care that (in my experience) is often overlooked. Dr. Ogez is so thoughtful, patient, and informative in her practice -- I've never felt safer during a wellness exam. Her bedside manner is exceptional; I felt heard in what I was saying during my visit, and also felt empowered about making choices about my body because Dr. Ogez took the time to really talk through things with me (and it is so clear that she stays very well informed on contemporary approaches to gynecological care that help empower patients.) That enough is worth 5 stars for me, but I should tack on that the office was so well organized that I think I was in the waiting room for about 3 minutes in totality? I never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointments and Dr Pham always had time for my questions and concerns. I didn't experience any scheduling issues or problems getting ahold of people. Delivery went perfectly and Dr Pham delivered my baby at 8pm! I was so worried she wouldn't be there but my nurses called her and she said "I'll be there in 10" and she came rushing in ready to deliver my baby. NP Linda provided amazing support during postpartum. Couldn't recommend this office enough!

I developed Bell's palsy at seven months and when I went to the ER at hoag they were quickly able to get on the phone with her to discuss my treatment. She later personally called me to make sure I was doing ok. Dr. Pham's bedside manner was top tier, she always had a smile on her face and made me feel so welcomed, I couldn't have asked for a better OB. Linda her NP was just as amazing, she is an absolute ray of sunshine, I loved going to my appointments because I knew I was going to be well taken care of. The delivery went really great, Dr. Pham has so much experience and this being my second baby I knew what to expect, baby girl had her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and Dr. Pham acted quickly to release her as I was pushing. I am forever grateful to the Miracle Orchids team for making my last pregnancy so wonderful. I honestly have nothing but immense gratitude for all the women that took care of me, from the front end staff like Diana who always treated me kindly to the medical assistants, ultrasound techs, nurses and of course Dr. Pham.

This was my third pregnancy and wanted a change in my experience this baby. Dr. Broad was amazing - great bedside manner, truly listens to you and what you want, you don't just feel like a number when you walk in. HUGE note is she basically does everything in her power to be at your delivery! She kept me at peace even with my third surprisingly coming on his own early. The delivery was seamless, quick and energy was so calm. Not only that, but she came on her day off to the hospital to visit us the next day.

I rarely write reviews, but I don't want anyone else to go through what I experienced. This review…read moreis not for Dr. Broad personally, as I never met her, but for the office staff, NP, and ultrasound tech. During my first pregnancy, I was abruptly told by the ultrasound tech that there was no heartbeat and that I was miscarrying, in a very rushed and insensitive manner. What followed was weeks of poor communication, delayed lab results, unanswered calls and portal messages, and lack of guidance during an extremely emotional time. After being told my only option was medication because a D&C would take weeks, the medication failed, and no one returned my calls when I asked what to do next. I sought a second opinion, which confirmed retained tissue and recommended a D&C immediately--something that should have been done much earlier. Despite repeated attempts to reach the office, I received no response. I ultimately ended up in the ER with symptoms of infection and had to find another doctor to perform a D&C. I didn't hear back from Dr. Broad's office until after the procedure, nearly three weeks later. The lack of communication and urgency was unacceptable, especially given the emotional and physical risks involved. As a nurse, I've seen a lot in healthcare, and this experience left me feeling helpless and unheard. I would not recommend this practice.
