Today was my first appt at Dr. Diana Tran-Kim's office. I am newly pregnant and that comes with a lot of nerves, but Dr Tran-Kim is so kind and comforting that there was nothing to worry about. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The appointment was smooth, quick and efficient, and all the necessary information I would need was given to me up front so there really was no need to ask questions. Dr. Tran-Kim is a great gynecologist who is very nice and knowledgeable. The 2 stars is for the front desk people working and my overall experience. I walked in for a consult, was not greeted at all, and stood at the front waiting for someone to address me. 3 of the ladies looked at me and straight up ignored me. I had to stand there and ask them for my new patient paperwork which they took awhile to get to me. After I filled it out I was called in. My appointment was fine but when I came back out the doctor told me they would give me additional paperwork to fill out and just sit and wait. I sat for about 15 minutes and no one had called me so I got up to ask about it. I was promptly told to sit down and that they would give it to me in a second. Waited about another 10-15 minutes and was handed my paperwork. I had a question to ask and the front desk lady couldn't hear me so I had to shout my very personal question for the whole waiting room to hear....thanks. To hell with patient confidentiality I guess. They said they'd call me when they received the item and I'd come in for the procedure. A month goes by...no calls, no follow ups. I call them and nobody picks up. I try again the next day and same thing. I wait a week and finally someone answers. I get passed around to insurance, different CVS numbers, and finally they tell me that Dr. Tran-Kim's office never responded to them or sent in my order so I had to wait again for approval. Decided to go somewhere else.... I WOULD NOT recommend this to anyone. read more

Dr Diana has been my favorite OBGYN so far. She takes time to listen to my concerns and frustrations with my body and takes her time in our consultations. Dr Tran-Kim is a lifesaver ! I was going to multiple doctors to figure out a problem that just wouldn't go away. They couldn't figure it out on my first visit. But I came in for an annual Pap smear and then was able to see Dr Tran herself for the results. I asked her if she could help me with the other issue, and after talking with her, she ran additional tests. And guess - what we finally know what the problem is! She's holistic too (very rare to find in an MD!) so I'm super happy about that. I'm confident the treatment will work since we now have a diagnosis ! I realize it takes a process of elimination and multiple tries sometimes. I'm just glad I saw Dr Tran who was able to listen to me and get me the right treatment. This place is all about money and push you to do the services. They make you pay deposit even before they see you and know your skin condition. I paid $2,000 after promotion discounts for 3 time skin laser, they only performed about 5' each time and my dark spots were still there, not like the doctor Diana said she will make them go away. I've been coming here for a couple of months and honestly I hate this place. I'm moving over to a new doctor. Here's why: No matter what time you make an appointment, there is always at least a half hour wait in the waiting room and then another half hour wait in the room before the doctor actually sees you. Expect to stay for at least 1.5 hours. Dr. Tran advised me to change my birth control citing clotting issues. She was upset that my previous doctor did not warn me about the side effects that MIGHT happen. So, I did. And the surprise of my life is when my birth control gives me all kinds of issues. I visit it her about these side effects (the ones she didn't warn me about) and she just shrugs and tells me that we might need to change the birth control. Later on, I find out that the birth control she put me on has the same - if not more - side effects. I'm still suffering from said side effects, 3 months later. I have also been treated by several nurse practitioners, which are good but ultimately they cannot be the doctor you follow up regularly with. Other doctors they have, i have heard they might be better but their schedules are packed, which is not convenient. read more

During my pregnancy, everything was ok and normal, the office was a little bit hard to reach but I was OK since they were short staffed. What I didn't like was the ultrasound machine they had was not a high quality one and toward my last 20 weeks of pregnancy, they only scanned me once in the office. The PROBLEM started after I had an episiotomy during my delivery (with Dr. Tran-Kim) and it couldn't heal properly. It was painful even after 3 weeks and I went back for check-up. The PA suggested stitched me RAW because the muscle at that area cannot be used anesthetic. I was horrifed and I said "NO". I was scheduled to come back the next day to see Dr. Tran-Kim. She used some sharp objects to make the wound bleed so it would heal better but it hurted like hell. I yelled loudly since the pain was enormous. I had to come back for that painful procedure twice and she said if the next visit (6 weeks) the wound couldn't heal, she would make a new cut and would give me something for the pain. NO CLEAR PLAN of treatment was drawn and with her "patch up" method, I had to go through pain multiple times. After 6 weeks my wound was still NOT healed but I switched to a more renowned OB in the area and he quickly put me under a minor surgey with anesthesia. The whole procedure and afterward was pain-free and I really mean it. The wound finally heal after 5 months postpartrum. 5 MONTHS!!! While I was lying on her table painfully, not once but TWICE she kept advertising about Femilift (cosmetic procedure for the vagina) in her office. I've been seeing Dr. Tran-Kim for around 5 years and have followed her to her own practice because: 1) she is on top of knowing my chart before walking into the exam room; 2) has a holistic approach that is top-notch: 3) has the most empathetic, bedside manners that make her irreplaceable. When I first started seeing Dr. Tran-Kim, I was newly married and shared my desire to have kids. Over the years she helped me to regulate my period after years of being on depo provera, helped me through two miscarriages, and oversaw and delivered two, healthy baby girls. I can write a novel of all the things that make Dr. Tran-Kim a standout OB, but the most recent example is when I had to have an early c-section to deliver my 2nd daughter. There were tears streaming down my face in the OR while getting my anesthesia (this was my first c-section and not what I wanted) but Dr. Tran-Kim held my hands to calm me down and answered all the medical questions that anesthesiologist had for me before being cut open. Like I said, knowledgeable and incredible bedside manners. I'm not a big crier but I seem to shed more tears around her. When she told me she was leaving her previous practice, I cried (I also just had a miscarriage) because I wasn't sure where she was going (and she wasn't able to tell me). I vigorously Googled her until I found her again and that's just a testament to how Dr. Tran-Kim, with her vast knowledge and deep empathy, played an integral part in making my dreams come true. read more

Update! I will not be back to this gyno. I just received a $100 bill for my preventative care visit last month. When I called the office I was told this gyno billed me $100 for a 5 min conversation for her to explain my yearly pap smear results. Wow!!! Wow the experience once you walked in was like no other OB GYN offices I've been to. Although it's a new office and still being decorated, Dr. Tran did a great job with not only her staff that was so welcoming but the whole process from signing in to getting checked out. She has the best bedside manner and was super friendly. She was so experienced in what she does and you can tell from the get go. I was being a bit nervous on the procedure but she was talked me through everything to calm my nerves! I saw that she also has other services that was very enticing to me so I will definitely be back as I heard great reviews. I just had my first visit to Dr. Kim's office for a laser treatment and the atmosphere of that office is memorable. The staff is incredibly welcoming and makes the process of checking in so easy. Dr. Kim cares for her patients so much and is open to any kind of questions you may have. Her energy is amazing! and you can see that she doesn't just tell her patients what to do, but she lives it out in her own life too. Please do not go this this doctor office. I was refer to this doctor from my family doctor. The staff is unprofessional and the manager is the same. My wife came here for Check up and the doctor discuss with her regard a laser treatment. After her check up. So she ask me and I'm ok beginning. So the office asked me to apply care credit for $2700.00 so no interest so I did it. When I got approve on January 1/24 and they charge us on the 1/25 for $2699.00 I did call to office and ask why do you charge 1 month ahead before our schedule date? The office told me that it there policy. I never heard this before so I call care credit and explain to them what happen. Customer service on care credit never heard of this kind of policy either. Today I call them to cancel service because we decide not to do it anymore because we tight with money. and manger say they can't refund money but can delay service. That he most stupid thing I ever heard from doctor office. This place is a scam please be careful. We haven't even sign any documents regard this laser treatment and they say it not refunded. I already file dispute to care credit and will wait to hear from them. Next step if I don't get my refund is to file my lawsuit to this office. This treatment is $2699.00 and we haven't do any treatment yet and can't cancel!! I already report to CareCredit and give them info. Even CareCredit told me that this is the most stupid policy they heard. If we haven't do treatment we have the right to cancel before treatment . i took my wife to this office for a check up on her pregnancy and was charge 300 for a ultra sound.I came back for a second check up they said our medi care was invalid and charge me another 350 for a ultrasound. And the people at the front desk are not helpful and dont know what there are talking about i kept asking why is the price keep on increasing for every checkup. The lady had no clues what I was talking about.but kept on making up excuses on why the price increase.I would not come back to this place ever again i even ask for the document and update on my child so we can transfer the documents to our new doctor. They wouldnt even give me my documents or email it to me or my wife like really im the father and that my child. They have you do the most and have u pick up the documents. Why do I need permission for my child documents.They don't care about your child these doctors just want your money. read more

I had medical coverage for pregnancy for 90 days. There was one time where for some reason i wasnt covered and the lady here called me and told me. Although for some reason i was not called or told that my medical for some reason didnt accept to cover me the first time i went and they billed me 210$. I been calling to see why i was billed because I remembered and knew that i had medical for pregnancy. But the ladies in the office wouldn't answer. After so many calls, i finally got answered and was transferred to billing, i asked why and they told me i wasn't covered. I then had to fight around medical because they too take long to answer. Just when i get dealt with after 5 mins, they tell me i was and such. So i call the billing office again and they tell me that i need a reference number and such because they had billed medical 3 times and they kept declining. Oh lord, what to believe. I ended up deciding on just paying. I don't have time to be told different things every-time when it takes long while to finally be connected. read more

Unreliable is the word I would use to describe this office. I really wanted to like Dr. Tran as I read her reviews before choosing her as my OBGYN for my first pregnancy. The entire pregnancy I believe I only saw her about three times total the rest of the time I was seen by the NP, she was nice however, I was unable to ask her all of the necessary questions before it was too late to switch to a different doctor. When I was scheduled to see Dr. Tran my appointments were either cancelled or switched over to see the NP. The day of my delivery, she wasn't even there, so I had to have my baby delivered by a different doctor that I had never even heard of. Needless to say the doctor had no clue what my birth plan was as he was simply thrown in to catch my baby. This led to the Dr. doing something that I had specifically noted in my plan that I did not want to be done. He did apologize after, but the damage had already been done. The front desk is simply disorganized. Had my pharmacy orders messed up, had to call multiple times to fix this. Orders for bloodwork were not properly sent on multiple occasions, thank goodness I had the physical copy with me at the time. Lastly, I asked for a service was told by the front office they would call me back and they never did. The only reason I'm giving this place two stars instead of one is Serena. She works front desk and was super kind when we had our son circumcised. With him being my first son and having decided to circumcise him I was obviously very nervous she was so kind in answering all my questions. I truly wanted to like this office, sadly I will not be returning nor do I recommend this place. It feels like they simply take on more than they can handle. read more
