My son's skin was not seeing any improvement after seeing a dermatologist for 3 years. Great new to me gem for more facialist options in Orange! I've usually gotten hydrafacials as of the last few years and have only received traditional facials as gifts from friends. She was responsive to my initial text and accommodated me on the same day (Tuesday midday). Debbie has a private treatment room in Adelante Salon, and every square inch of her room is filled with products she uses and sells, including Image and PCA Skin, among others. There's a lot going on on her walls as well as far as signage, skincare brochures, and the like. I opted for a 60 min custom facial that concentrated on anti-aging concerns. It also included a vial of wrinkle defense serum that she applied with ultrasonic wand for $125. She gave a firm, but still relaxing neck, shoulder and arm massage as my hands were wrapped in heated mitts. Debbie knew I received facials regularly, so she explained some of her process, but also allowed me to relax and not be forced to chitchat I will patronize her again as it is a nice complement to my hydrafacials. I am developing a couple skin tag or texture bumps that she didn't have any opinions about despite being in the skincare field for over 25 years; just deferred to a derm. Knowing I was a bridesmaid for my friends' wedding, I booked a facial for the day after. Why? Well I knew I would have make-up on all day clogging my pores. And I had work plans for a tradeshow a few days after so I didn't want to have breakouts. I was so grateful Debbie accepted my appointment on her off day. She is so sweet! Facial and Skincare by Debbie is located inside Salon Adalante. I found Debbie thanks to Sue L.'s raving review. This place is truly a hidden gem. Debbie was early and she told me I could swing by sooner if I wanted to, which I ended up doing. I was a whiny baby complaining to Debbie about the terrible make-up artist my friend hired who didn't care to moisturize my face or apply primer before applying uneven amounts of foundation that didn't match with my skin in clumps that exposed my pores and creases. Thank god someone else did the brides make-up because everyone else who did make up with the same girl hated their face all day too. We were all better off with no make-up. Anyways, I asked Debbie for The "Ultimate" Facial Experience ($140) which is a 90 minute relaxing experience that includes a European facial which is deep cleaning, exfoliation, a super fruit enzyme mask, steam, extractions, a mask and massaging throughout. In addition to the essentials you also get a glycolic skin renewal treatment, a paraffin hand treatment, anti-aging eye treatment, a lip softening treatment and an extended neck and shoulder massage. The experience was a complete treat. During the enzyme mask, Debbie gave my arms a nice massage and applied the paraffin hand treatment with warming gloves. During the steaming, Debbie gave my feet a lovely much needed massage to relieve my 20+ hours in heels. the extended neck and shoulder treatment at the end was much needed after the day I had yesterday. By the end of the treatment my face felt sooooo clean. My skin was glowing. I was so relaxed. So grateful for Debbie and her magical touch. Every hand movement was very precise and intentional. I could feel she hit all the pressure points and everything was just perfect. I also really like that Debbie uses Rhonda Allison products. I have been using them for years and have always enjoyed the results on my skin. Debbie has a larger selection of product than the person who I bought them from prior. I got the small containers of the Brightening Pigment Tonic ($15) and the Naturale Mega Brightening Serum ($24). A couple of sad realizations today: 1) Super sad that I've been missing out on years of back facials! How is this my first one?! People, for sure, overuse the term "life-changing," but let me tell ya something, this is legit LIFE CHANGING, lol. 2) My high maintenance-ness just became even more high maintenance....which equates to more expenses in my life ($150 w/ gratuity).
