The icing was tasty, and while the cake was decent, it leaned a bit dry, which was already giving us pause given this was meant to showcase their best work. What really ended the conversation for us was a major quality issue. Two of the icing sample balls each had a very long hair in them. It was immediately noticeable and extremely off-putting. At that point, we lost confidence and couldn't bring ourselves to continue sampling, let alone consider trusting them with something as important as a wedding cake. Between the dryness of the cake and the hair issue, we ultimately decided to go in a different direction. Not terrible flavor-wise, but the experience as a whole was disappointing and fell short for such a high-stakes purchase.

I wanted scrambled egg on my toast as well but they do not make eggs any other way than hard boiled here (I am not a fan of hard boiled eggs, a me-thing). Only a few picnic tables and benches and you walk up to the window to order. The employees are very friendly. The ice cream is made fresh daily. This is just one of many franchises in the US. They started out in Youngstown, OH and the company began in 1945. National Geographic says it's the #1 ice cream on the planet! That's quite a claim! I had a medium size cone with black raspberry and pistachio ice cream in a sugar cone. Both ice creams were really good and creamy, lots of pistachios, but the sugar cone was lacking flavor. My spouse got two scoops of the black raspberry in a cake cone and Loved the ice cream. They have tons of flavors to choose from! We'll be back!
