The food menu consisted of sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts. I had a chicken salad atop a bed of greens with pineapples, walnuts, and ranch dressing and same with a mini muffin on the side. It was tasty but the portion was rather smaller than I am used to. The dessert was also yummy, a lemon meringue pie!! My friend also got a chicken and mandarin oranges salad and a mint chocolate chip ice cream pie for dessert. She liked it as well but also commented on the small portions. All the specials on the board contained mushrooms or tuna or mayo, which just isn't my thing so that had nothing going for me. I really was expecting a lot more coming into this, seeing as though I've been to a lot of proper tea rooms and this just wasn't it for me. The food was all tasty but it lacked a "wow" factor. It's alright if you're looking for a cheap lunch or taking a grandma out, but I wouldn't go out of my way to drive here again and I don't think I personally would return at all.
