Located in a small building in Brimfield you will find a nice bakery for breads and pastries. The Bread is nice and hearty, crusty outside and wonderfully spongy inside. They have a good selection of breads including loaves, focaccias and rolls. The pastries are very nice, with croissants, danishes, cookies and scones. There is also a cooler with ready to bake quiches and pizzas. Service is nice and casual, although the service area is compact but they keep things moving. I also appreciate there is a rack with half priced day old breads. When you have really high quality bread you can still enjoy it a day later. Woah, most everything here is unreal levels of goodness. I actually found out about this place because there were on yelps list of top 100 pizza places. While they do serve pizza on Saturdays, they are mostly known as a high quality bakery. That said, the quality of the pizza is of the highest order and they even have some refrigerated ones that you can take home to put in the oven. Oh my, it does smell heavenly when you walk in. Fresh baked bread. I had originally wanted to try their pizza, and come to find out they do it from four to eight on Saturday's only. They do have some that you can just pop in the oven, but that wouldn't have worked in our situation. We did take a couple of the baked goods. A blueberry cream cheese Danish, a pretzel, an almond scone, and a Sea Salt Foccacia bread. Everything was delicious! With the exception of the pretzel. Oh, that Foccacia bread, it saved our lives for two nights that we were in Canton. I would most certainly return if we are ever in the area again. I know we will, too. I believe Brimfield Bread Oven has the most unique pizza in NE Ohio. Ok. Well. Let's be honest, I can't possibly say that. I've had a relatively small sample size of pizza in Northeast Ohio compared to the plethora of shops; the sheer magnitude of the number of pizzerias in Northeast Ohio is staggering. That said, I believe Brimfield bread oven to be the best pizza that I've ever had in my entire life. Phew. RIGHT????? I enjoy, for what they are worth, all the styles Ohio has to offer. I can eat great examples of all the styles, depending on my mood. Full disclosure, I tend to gravitate toward New York style as a go to. But I've been known to kill some Luigi's or some Giannino's. Detroit style? Love it. Chicago deep -? No problem with that either. I'm just saying I get it. But Brimfield bread oven? The only way I can describe it is that it is entirely flavorful, but the crust for the win! when it's just crust and you keep eating? Yes, the crust has flavor. Actual flavor. It tastes like very good bread! There is no flop at all. It is breakthrough on the backside of it. And when you take a bite of it? It feels at first like New York style, but it's just a tad, barely noticeable thickness. That's just slightly bigger than New York style, and it ends in a crunch on the bottom. It is very nuance, but it is definitely different than New York style. And it is not typical Ohio style not even anywhere near the same amount of do that that would require. I'm telling y'all, you have to get to Brimfield for their pizzas. Brimfield bread oven pizza is super legit. The steak and bake is good. But if you want it even better? Which is how I would recommend? On Saturdays from 4 to 8 PM, they make the pizzas in the bakery in their oven made to order. That's how you should get it. If not? Do it take and bake and you'll be happy enough! Amazing pizza! And pretty much everything else they sell there for that matter. P.S. I have have Luca's in Stow. Luca's has very oily cheese and the crust had no flavor when I had it, which was only once -- two days ago. But I'm more than wanting to give that place several more tastes. Lol. My favorite bakery in Northeast Ohio! Incredibly friendly staff and absolutely delicious wood fired breads, sweets, and pizzas. It's incredible that this small bakery has some of the best pizza I've ever had, despite only serving it once a week (Saturday). If you want their pizza, call on a Saturday and place the order. I think the pizza pick up and dine in area (not open at the moment) is open from 4-8pm. They have a small but great selection of pizzas with the option to create your own. The quality of the dough is amazing. It's doughy but also airy and crunchy at the same. Their red sauce and white sauce are light and delicious. The cheese doesn't look super melted in the photo I've attached but that's just because I picked it up a little late. If you are in the same boat just reheat it a little in your home oven. Well I couldn't stay away for long..and I'm sure I never will. I swung by Sunday after church to try to snag a croissant and was pleasantly surprised to see there were still a few pastry options available so I grabbed a few different ones to try. THEY WERE ALL PHENOMENAL!! I'm a huger sucker for any type of croissant so of course I loved both the raspberry/chocolate and plain chocolate. They were the flakiest most delectable croissants I've ever tasted. What I was super surprised with was the raspberry danish. The large pieces of sugar really made a nice touch! The flavors were just on point with everything! The chocolate chip cookie was pretty standard. I usually like mine underdone but this was still a great cookie. The prices are very reasonable for the level of skill that it must take to make these beautiful pastries. If you want to try any of these make sure you get your butt there early because they WILL run out fast. Or you can utilize their online order service and order ahead the night before! On a Saturday night, for my first visit to Brimfield Bread Oven, I ordered for pickup a Margarita pizza. The pizza was well balanced among crust, sauce, cheese, olive oil, and basil: nothing was too intense, dull, loaded or not enough--everything was just right. The generous portion of mozzarella cheese is what I first struck me and made me sing. The red sauce was tangy and sweet. The crust was soft and dry, maybe a little too chewy, and consistent from the edge of the pie to its center. The pizza wasn't soggy (hot, soupy, molten) at the center, as are some Neapolitan pizza. A nice light char colored the crusts edge and added good flavor and texture. I will definitely be back for pizza. The rewards program says to me that they appreciate and want to reward their customers loyalty. read more

Omg delicious freshly baked breads of many varieties! Wonderful local shop with that small town artisan feel!

I'm new to the area and don't know why I waited as long as I did. They have limited hours but an extremely easy online ordering and pick-up system where you pre-pay. Simply show up, and they'll deliver your order to your car. I'm currently making my way through the menu but let's focus on the most important thing. The baguette. The humble baguette is done exactly how it should be. Nothing fancy. Just total authentic crusty goodness transporting you straight to France. Their simple and delicious salami sandwich is served on this as well and ya can't go wrong. But I spent most the day munching on hunks of bread, some with a little butter. The next week, we tried the bacon quiche. The large is only $15 and full of fresh ingredients, perfectly baked. One large slice with a salad or fruit makes a surprisingly filling dinner. We also think it would work to slice the whole thing and freeze individually for quick lunches. Focaccia...yet again, simple and perfect with flaked sea salt. Great for dipping. The mozzarella pesto sandwich uses this and the actual pesto didn't quite do it for me. However, I was clearly wrong in this opinion and everyone else finished it up for me. This week, I will be testing out their Turkish bagels and pretzels. Maybe another baguette. They offer their pizzas for take and bake but I think I'd rather wait for the full wood fired option when they can open more. They also offer local flour and free sourdough starter if you decide to jump on the quarantine bread baking bandwagon! read more
