Don't judge by outward appearances of the humble building, kind of hidden behind the Walgreens on Main Street! Selection is amazing . It really is a cupcake palace. She has a lot of unusual flavors like buckeyes and strawberry wedding cake and peach melba and German chocolate and almond and birthday cake which even has a smiley face on it ! And some of them are seasonal flavors so you won't get bored here. They do have different specials different days of the week and Friday as I write this you can pick six of any flavors you would wanna mix and match and it is $10 out the door . Yes, they do take cash or plastic . (not all small businesses do, because of the extra fees which at this point is 3% that they take out of the small business - which is just evil in my opinion , so please try to pay cash if you can and help out our local vendors.) They also have cookies and cake pops, and they have some little doggy cupcakes as well . The cupcakes are about the same size as the muffins that you would see for sale at a supermarket . They do also have the little mini kind that are two bites in size. There's plenty of parking and it's easy to find once you realize it's a standalone small building . Nothing flashy. read more

I can not thank them enough for there hard work. The girls that work there are so patient and kind. She was able to make the cake I was looking for and everyone loved it. I have been coming in weekly for purchases for 2 plus yrs usually 2-3 24 packs at a time weekly for our Dr. Meetings. I have been coming in on Tuesdays weekly for the past yr to specifically to buy 2 2pks for 2 special need employees it makes them feel special and they really enjoy it. I have never had an issue being able to by 2 2pks for $2 each, I have never had a problem until today. I even offered to buy one and come back in and I was told no. I am so incredibly pleased with the birthday cake that we ordered from Sunshine Cupcakes! My 4 year old was very particular about what he wanted his "rainbow surprise cake" to look like, so we came up with a drawing together and brought it to Sunshine and they made it come alive! It was gorgeous and delicious! We ordered a chocolate cake with white buttercream icing. The cake was moist and decadent without being too cloying or heavy and the buttercream was just perfect. It was my son's birthday and wanted to get something different than the usual birthday cakes. I was referred to by my dentist to this area. It's about a 10 miles drive back home but what a mother would do to make it extra special right.... to my surprise, I didn't expect these cupcakes to be this good. Wow... Have stopped there twice on the 2 for $2 cupcake days. They are absolutely delicious. Tried 4 different ones, perfect amount of icing and filling for each cupcake. Wow! My cousin lives in the area and used to work here, so she recommended it when I was visiting. I'm so glad she did because those cupcakes were divine! I brought home four of them for my boyfriend and I, and we decided that we are officially fans. We tried butter pecan (my personal fave), buckeye, maple, and chocolate flavors, which were all fantastic. The shop itself is cute, too, with all of the bright and pastel colors. Seems like the business is just starting up and still working out some kinks, but nothing major. I will definitely be getting more next time I go visit my cousin, that's for sure! read more
