5 Stars not enough for this business! There was a little hiccup with my appointment booking when I got there. But Kyle, was apologetic and told me that they could still take my car without hesitation! He quoted me about a 2 to 3 hour wait, He called me just shy of an hour and a half later. I went with S7 35% tints on my 2015 F150. The staff is very helpful demonstrating the heat resistant properties of their product and picking out the right tint for your vehicle. I wish I spent the extra $80 for the S9 but the S7 still makes a huge difference especially out here in Hawaii. Like them on Facebook to get $20 off or they offer 5% off for military. Very easy getting an appointment and a great waiting area with WiFi, tv coffee and water. Will update the review if any bubbling occurs, I'm not very concerned though as other reviews say they will replace free of charge. (Will probably go with S9 if I have to come back) I only right reviews when the quaility is fantastic or atrocious, I highly recommend Ohana Tinting if your in the kapolei area! I asked them to do my whole 2017 Jeep Wrangler and they gave me a good customer service and price. Location is great, their work place is just clean and has a great environment to it. I wanted to go darker then any other... so I asked them to do a tint job over my existing tint and they did a great job for something other tinters say never does work, those guys were lying. They did tell me to wait a week for the tint to set in and last time I got a tint job from someone else they told me that, and the bubbles did not go away. When these guys say it, it's real! Below is the first day and the 2nd day. The bubble is gone and left me with a very satisfying tint job that was done in 30-45 minutes! My whole Jeep! So far this is the 2nd day of having their tint and I really feel the protection from the heat. They couldn't offer me warranty because the first layer of tint wasn't their tint but they did say if I was to have any concerns I could always go back to them within a 2 week period. I message them the first night I got my tint done and noticed the bubble and they told me to make a appointment to fix the problem possibly for free if it's a installation error or a defect in the tint. I mean it's not lifetime warranty but at least they want me to be satisfied with the job they have done! Few years from now if something happens I will have no problem coming back to go through the whole process of re tinting and getting their tint this time to get their lifetime warranty haha! I hope they keep up their great service and if they keep it up for repeat customers and new customers then I would definitely highly recommend them as your familys and friends official tinters!!! read more

Called Ohana Tinting on a Saturday morning at 10:00am for an appointment, Ke'ala gave me an appointment for Sunday morning 9:00am. He also recommended if we can drop it off today, they would work it in between the other appointments. Took our 2019 Nissan Altima SR around 10:30am that morning and met with Ke'ala, he explained the different types of tints and cost to my wife and I. We were able to make a decision to go with the IXR instead of the ceramic tint. Left the car there around 11:00 and the car was done at 2:15pm. We tinted all windows with 35% and added the front windshield with a clear tint. All tint was within State regulations. Ke'ala explained all legal aspects of Hawaii. The car looks great, keeps the heat outside and cool inside. Thank you Ohana Tinting for an awesome look and Great Work!! Unreal Results!!! Have a 22 Tiguan and wanted things done a certain way. They took the time to listen to me and suggest ways to achieve what I wanted. I really appreciate their customer service because they went out of their way to help me when something went wrong with what I wanted. I had an appointment for 4 pm and they weren't able to finish by 6 (their closing time), but checked on me if I needed anything to drink and finished everything by 630 (which is fine with me). They offer free drinks (canned juice and Coca-Cola) in the waiting area. In my opinion, they're the best tint shop around. I wouldn't waste time going to another shop. read more

In the past I've had two cars tinted at Ohana Tinting and both jobs were clean. Fair pricing and the attention to detail is evident. My one recommendation for them is to make sure that they do a better job of cleaning the car after a tint job. Maybe even vacuum the cars. Had an appointment at 2 and got a call my car was done less than an hour later. Was told there would be air bubbles, but that they would go away in a couple of days. After a couple of days, I looked over my windows and noticed there was still an air bubble on the driver side, and scratches all over the corner of the passenger side. I messaged Ohana Tinting on Yelp sometime around 9:30pm about the bubble and scratches and received a response less than 15 minutes later saying they'd take a look if I brought it in. I wasn't able to bring it in until a couple of days later. When I did, it was a little less than 2 hours before closing. I went in without an appointment expecting them to take a look and make an appointment for when they could fix it. I'm sorry I didn't get the person's name who I spoke to when I first entered, but he was honestly what made the experience five stars. When I told him what was wrong, he went to look at the windows. He asked if I made an appointment that day; when I said no, he went to check if they had time to fix it that day, even when I didn't have an appointment. They did, and not even an hour later, they were done, and I was driving away with flawlessly tinted windows. I will definitely be going here for any future tinting needs and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to tint their windows. read more

My experience with ohana tinting was a very bad experience. It took over the weekend and a business day to get a response back. I wasn't happy with the result of my tint. It had smudges as if the tint didn't settle. So the person that I made the complaint to was very rude. He said everyone always complain about the end results, and for me to hear those exact words. Was like why is it still a pattern. I was told it was gonna be a 1 hr.1/2 job. It took less then 35 mins. It took 3 guys to wok on my car & I was the last car for the day. I felt they rushed it and did a very poor job. It only benefited their financial gain, & not a happy customer. DONT GO TO OHANA TINTING THEY RIP YOU OFF. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Talking to the staff was very simple, easy and comfortable. I didn't have any means for transportation to go back home so when I got to the waiting area I was surprised at how welcoming and peaceful it was. The chairs are incredibly comfortable plus there's a tv, free WiFi and a cool looking fish tank. As for the tint, I am beyond pleased with it! I never realized how much of a life changer it would be. i recently had all of my car widows tinted. the service was quick and painless! the employees seemed knowledgeable and stayed patient with me as they explained the differences between each product option. there's a nice little waiting room as well so you don't have to arrange for someone to pick you up. they gave me an estimated time. though they warned me that since i was tinting the front windshield, it may take slightly longer because it can be problematic. they were done no more than 5 minutes after the estimated time! great service! read more

Brought my car in to get tinted because its HOT, and my a/c doesn't work currently. The staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to figuring out what film I would go with. After a lamp demo I decided to go with S9 and Air70 for the windshield, buy once cry once right? They have a very comfortable waiting area where you can watch TV and they offer free WiFi. The work was done in the estimated time, and supposedly my car was one of the more difficult styles because of how curved all my glass is. EXCELLENT quality! And it's so much cooler now.
