I needed to find a good place that was relatively close to my house, but also took my insurance. The doctor provided a list of therapists, and this CORA location worked out perfectly. I was able to get a next-day appointment for my evaluation. They tested the limits of my knee to see my range of motion and strength level and then provided a list of exercises that I could do on my own at home. These exercises were also available for me on their customized MedBridge app. The app shows how to do the exercises and you can follow through with it for the entire session. Additionally, I go in for PT twice a week. The staff is very friendly, understanding, and welcoming. They cater to people of all ages and different activity levels and injuries. Odane has been excellent in providing a variety of extensive strengthening and mobility exercises to help stabilize the injured area. He is extremely attentive and corrects your form to ensure you achieve the best results. They will also provide ice or heat after sessions, depending on what each individual needs. If all other CORA facilities are run in this manner, I would highly recommend seeking them out if you ever are in need of physical therapy. And if you live close by, be sure to check out this location. You'll be back on your feet in no time.

My pain always returns sometimes taking my breath away. Level 8 pain is excruciating and debilitating. Several years ago it was recommended that I meet with Dr Chad Frank. My friend was confident Dr Frank could offer relief from my suffering. I knew nothing about Osteopathic treatment but took the advice and made the appointment. My experience with the Non-Surgical Center for Physical and Sports Medicine Center has been wonderful. The waiting room never has more than one or two patients because the staff understand the value of patients time. It's a wonderful thing to be treated courteously by office staff. Dr Chad Frank has been able to relieve my back pain which allows me greater range of motion. I know that when my back "goes out" I can trust that Dr Frank will be there to help. I have practically crawled into the center at times because when my back acts up the pain is intense. After just one visit I realize significant relief from my agony. I have not used drugs or injections as part of my treatment with Dr Frank. I know it's an option, but I have not needed to do so. I feel blessed and grateful for Dr Chad Frank. I confidently recommend the Non-Surgical Center for Physical and Sports Medicine.

Dennis is extremely talented and efficient, so he can accomplish a lot in an hour session. The work he does with jaw (TMJ issues), head, and neck really helped me a lot. Dennis is a trainer, teacher, and expert in this field. In addition to his massage, Dennis does NLP (Neuro Linguisic Programming), which can be helpful as well. Dennis is one of the most dynamic and interesting people I've ever met, so every session I've had with him has been fun. I used to see him only when I was in town visiting my grandparents (who sadly no longer grace the earth) so I don't get occasion to visit Fort Lauderdale anymore. If I ever make it back there, I will try to get in with him again. I don't usually see male massage therapists, but I always felt at ease with him (and he gives his female clients tube tops and jogging shorts, so that he can get to all the important muscles without any discomfort). My husband and dad both had sessions with Dennis as well, and they also thought very highly of his work and had follow-up appointments. Dennis gave my husband and me different excercises to do that were very specific for our unique patterns. He's excellent, insightful, and I only wish he worked closer to where we live!

Not only does he treat my symptoms, but he also sends me home with stretches and corrective exercises for maintenance. He has a vast, intuitive understanding of anatomy, which he explains while applying a treatment plan. Without Dennis, I'd probably be seeing a slew of doctors and taking a bunch of pills (or surgery) to help with things that he can easily fix, naturally. I suggest him to all my friends who are struggling with pain, no matter how far the drive.

Senior…read moreHearts was assigned to come the afternoon after I was released from the hospital to administer an injection, change my dressings and evaluate me for home physical therapy. The first nurse arrived nearly two hours late (at nearly ten pm; the appointment was for eight pm) and she was clueless. She had no alcohol or cotton for the injections. She was supposed to take my temperature, yet had no functioning thermometer (she claimed she had lost the sterile insert caps). She did the evaluation and intake forms on an iphone. It was difficult and she didn't appear to know what she was doing. She was laughing during the evaluation, I think from nervousness, as I was having difficulty masking my impatience with her. A second nurse was supposed to arrive the next morning, at eight a.m. At ten I started to call the agency, only to find that their message machine was full and they didn't staff the phones on weekends (it was a Saturday). So I called my insurance company; I'm on a medicare advantage plan, and was referred to the company which referred Senior Hearts to me. I asked to be transferred to another agency, and to have someone come out during the day to administer the necessary injection. The parent company agent (who was nice, by the way) called me back to say that they had cancelled any further contact with me and that another company couldn't be assigned until Monday. So be it, I thought. But at eleven the eight a.m. nurse arrived. She claimed she had been outside my building from nine a.m. but had no way to call me because she didn't have a phone. I just fired them outright. Incompetency in the health business is dangerous and anyone who is referred to Senior Hearts Home Health should RUN to another company, as it is likely they will do something sufficiently dangerous to cause you harm.
