When I heard that Ohio Pie Co. made pickle pizza I decided to drive 45 minutes to Brunswick and find out what this was about. The pickle pizza is amazing. The crust is a medium bread like crust, topped with a white cheese sauce, topped with fried pickles and pickle potato chips. If you like pickles, I highly recommend this pizza. I also ordered a veggie pizza as well. This pizza was good, but nothing like the pickle pizza. The menu of Ohio Pie Co. is very unique. They even make a brunch pizza . What a welcome addition to the Cleveland area. Ohio Pie Co. is on its quest to officially coin, designate, and represent Ohio Style Pizza. And I think they do a great job at that. It makes sense, geographically, that the pies are somewhere between the crispy, but fairly thick style of Detroit and the spiraled sweet sauce style of Pennsylvania. I tried the classic pepperoni and it was amazing. The vibe is great in the shop too. No frills but very nice. Friendly staff are a bonus. This is a must stop spot, absolutely. Ohio Pie has some of the best pizza in the area. I am a huge fan of their brunch pies- they are available Saturday and Sunday 9-12. My personal favorite is the Bodega which has a cream cheese based sauce (called party sauce), cheese, egg, and bacon. What really puts it over the edge is the everything bagel crust- it adds a ton of flavor. I also love their party bread. It reminds me of a white pizza. It is meant to be a garlic bread, but I have ordered it as my pizza for dinner. I added vegan sausage to it and it is delicious that way. am not a big fan of red sauce on pizza in general, so the cream cheese based sauce is perfect for me. They have really good pizza, and it is one of the only pizzerias in the area that does NOT use soybean oil, so I can eat it. They are really cool about substituting for allergies (I can't have the cheese, so they sub extra sauce). They have really interesting combinations of ingredients, too. A lot of places raised their prices and cut down on the meats. Ohio Pie wants you return; at least that's the impression I got. If they could change the interior "just a little" (sorry Nick) with some decent seating, I think this could be a real eat-in weekend destination pizzeria. My first impression was I might bring a little league team in here to celebrate a win, but not a family or group outing. But besides that, the pizza itself was great. Not dry, plenty of sauce. This place is absolutely unbelievable!! They offer five different breakfast pizzas on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-Noon. Do not miss this opportunity to try one of the best breakfast pizzas EVER! All of them come with an everything bagel crust seasoning on the bottom of the pie. I tried all of them! You can't go wrong. Also, their mainstay regular pizzas are unreal. Instead of drowning the dough with sauce and making it soggy, they put the sauce on last in a small spiral pattern so you get a taste of it in each bite. This place is going to take off soon. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and also call ahead to place your order. They take about 12-18 minutes to rock out two pies, which is a small price to pay for a high-quality, hand-crafted pizza. Ok, so I've heard about Ohio Pie for months on a vegan/vegetarian Facebook group and decided to finally take that almost hour long trip to see what the hype is about. Let me tell you, it was worth the drive! I have a dairy allergy so pizza is typically cheeseless for me anywhere I order it from. I've had my share of vegan cheese and just don't care for it, so I typically opt out on the cheese. However, after reading all the reviews of the vegan pizza, I went for it as is - cheese and all. I ordered the vegan Heart of it All and the vegan Piggy Bird pizzas. If I put a slice of the vegan Heart of it All in front on someone, they'd never know it was vegan unless I told them! The sausage was spicy, the pepperoni looked like pepperoni, the veggies were cooked perfectly, the sauce was delicious. And yep, I actually liked their vegan cheese! The vegan Piggy Bird...again, you'd never think this pizza was vegan! The BBQ sauce was sweet, the chicken tasted and looked like chicken and those crispy onion pieces made this one of my favorite pizzas. I ordered two medium pizzas, which I now happily have leftovers for days. The staff was friendly, they have limited seating outside, plenty of beverages in store, and they have fresh cookies as well. YES!!! Ohio Pie Co, id give you 10 stars if I could. I just finished the last bite and WOW.. I haven't tried very many Ohio pizzas that I truly enjoy, but this was a delightful surprise. The White Pizza takes the cake at our household with almost a whopping 3/4 Large pizza destroyed by 3 adult individuals. And the customer service and operating system was STRONG. Nick has the logistics figured out and owns this business by being on the forefront at the register. I was highly impressed by the service! Picture this, Friday night, youve got the appetite for a perfect pizza, you've got the places number but lines are full, you've called over 45 times to hear nothing but a BEEP BEEP busy signal... feeling like a crazy ex girlfriend, you're ready to give up. And alas, you attempt one more call to finally hear a voice, in shock you scramble to blurt out the words "I'd like to place an order..." you mumble the words frantically, beyond stoked you're about to get pizza.. stomach rumbling, appetite growing. They tell you 1 hour... it turns out to be the longest hour of your life. For the next hour you're anticipating waiting to leave and finally you do, traffic isn't great every minute passes slower, it's the dinner rush people! You arrive to see a full parking lot and crowd of hungry mask bearing individuals, you are greeted by a friendly worker who invites you inside to (see the cookies) pay for your order and they say it will around 10-12 minutes. These minutes go slower then the last hour but everyone around You is saying "oh it's worth it, we've tried them all, were regulars here", it's a parking lot party anticipation slips away as you watch those before you leave with full hands, carrying the pizza we all fought the phones and beat the traffic for. Next name "Karen" then "Joe" and before you know it... here it comes in all it's glorious news your pizza is out, safely in your arms and on the way home. You eat it, you've won. And you'll be back.... maybe even tomorrow. The end. Yes please visit here. It is much better than any chain pizza you will ever have. In the time I wrote this review, I digested my 8 pieces, and cookies and I could run a marathon. Usually at that point I have a stomach ache and I'm in bed. So yes, today was a 5 star experience. OUTSTANDING!! I've had pizza and cookies here multiple times, every time has been amazing. Today the wrong pizza was made for my order, the staff noticed it and remedied it immediately. I had a new fresh pizza in 10 mins and was on my way out the door! I waited in the dining area which was my first time going to that side. Tried their brunch pizza today - the Uncle Tony (and added sausage). It was amazing. You know when you take a bite of something and say mmm afterwards because it was so good? It was that over and over again. The everything bagel seasoning on the bottom of the crust is genius. Definitely going to be put into our regular brunch rotation. Heard good things about this place so went to try it out but was pretty disappointed. Ordered a half deluxe half Hawaiian pizza with a House salad. 25 mins later, arrive to pick up where I realize they messed up the order and only made the pizza a deluxe. Wait 15 more minutes for the pizza i ordered then leave with both pizzas (way more than I need, would rather have gotten half off the pizza I ordered) and the salad. Come home and try the pizzas. Pizzas are decent (especially for brunswick) but they aren't trying anything new here. The salad was the real disappointment. For $7, they give you half a head of iceberg lettuce, a single slice of tomato (cut into fourths) and a ton of crappy shredded cheese. No onions, cucumber, peppers, or olives. I felt completely ripped off to pay $7 for a $.20 salad that took one minute to prepare. It was literally the lowest quality salad I have ever purchased and is insulting to customers that they even serve this. Came with a side of dressing which was essentially a mix of water, soybean oil, and sugar. Pure garbage. I would recommend staying away from this place. There are much better pizza places in the Cleveland area that actually serve quality salads and better pizzas while charging a similar price. read more

Really great pizzas and worth the 35 minute drive from Lakewood. Have tried almost all the pizzas on the menu but the limited pickle pizza is by far my favorite. Tried the after school special pizza and I never thought I'd say this, but Doritos should be an optional topping for other pizzas because now I want to add them to each pizza I get. Their basic b is another great one. Brunch pies are also worth the drive. I love that Ohio Pie Co. is one of the few specialty pizza places to offer non-pork protein options, including vegan options. Many of my friends who are vegan are so excited that they can get pizza from a place they trust and not have to eat frozen pizza. They took Ohio style pizza, which to me has always been Donatos, and went one step further with amazing quality and service. Also, love their response about Covid. Following them on social media and seeing the hate they got for some of their policies or simply for being busy was a bummer. Casual dining, order up front,find a table and eat off paper plates. It's pizza, not fine dining and that's ok when the pizza is this good! They don't skimp on toppings, and really no crust on the edges. Sause is good not too sweet, but well seasoned. If I have one complaint it is they use canned mushrooms. But there was so much pepperoni you couldn't tell. A+! read more

I thought how weird that there is no sauce underneath the cheese. But genius batman! The cheese sticks and your toppings don't slide off. Plus you can add as little or as much sauce as you want. Win win! My only negative comment is that the closest one to us is in Brunswick . Hubby said he could always stop and pick up on his way home. That is definitely two thumbs up from him.
