Everyone was nice enough but watching and listening to them from the attached side dining room you could tell they had no idea what they were doing. I don't think they have any kind of order tracking process. Nobody seems to be in charge of "expediting". I think they should have limited their menu (it's huge covering breakfast lunch dinner ice cream and pizzas) and definitely done a soft open to work things out. Prices weren't too bad. Not as good as the old local spot, but even that place had off days. So, I gave it a lukewarm, "Eh, okay," and trudged on. Round 2: Breakfast of Regret I ordered biscuits and gravy, hoping for a warm hug in food form. What I got was more like a passive-aggressive pat on the back. The biscuits were decent, but the gravy was a ghost of flavor past. I've had better gravy at a gas station -- literally. Round 3: Cheeseburger Revisited Hope flickered. The burger was thicker this time, a marked improvement. I could finally taste the meat, though it still screamed for seasoning. Salt and pepper, people -- it's not witchcraft. The tater tots, though? I am giving a 2 star instead of a 1 for the fact they are still new. But ... what a disaster…read more New restaurant offering all you can eat fish.... on a Friday is a recipe for disaster. Sat down at 5:30.... no acknowledgement from anyone until 605 when we had to stop a waitress. Drinks arrived at 630. Salads never arrived... asked about them... brought them out but they were out of the dressing we wanted. (salad is just lettuce and cheese) My meal came out 645.... lukewarm. 705 the rest of the meals come out.... ran out of baked potatoes so they arbitrarily substituted wedges for one person and fries for another. No veggies came out at all:.... and the slaw didn't either. I don't think anything else could have gone worse. All of the customers were just looking around like we were being punk'd. I hope the operations smooth out but the quality of what we had.... tenders, fries, cod..... were not good. If someone would have at least acknowledged the time delay, the food we sent back, the food we didn't get,,..: by just removing the cost off the items of the bill I think we would have been ok. But we had to tell the cashier what we needed credit for .... and she was not happy about it.

That never stopped us from deciding on a whim to get in the car and drive out to Dairy Barn for ice cream. This place can be PACKED on a summer evening. Dad would drive us out there after band practice, despite the fact we lived 5 minutes from the practice field and this place was 20 minutes in the wrong direction. Their ice cream is soft serve from a machine. Their cones are HUGE. Not the cones, the height of the ice cream! Watch out how big of a cone you order in the summer, because it will quickly become elbow-licking ice cream. They also have a variety of sundaes and a banana split in a big cup, called a garbage can. Awesome. They have food, too! The pizza is particularly good, and made to order to boot. I live in Dallas now, but always find time to wander over to Birdseye for a visit to the Dairy Barn when I'm home.

This is the best farmer's market I've ever been to. My family and I shop here every Saturday…read moremorning during the season. There is a wide selection of delicious local foods at excellent prices, including fruits, vegetables, meats, maple syrup, honey, baked goods, and jam preserves. Some vendors sell soaps, aprons, baskets, hand-carved spoons, and other specialty items. A few vendors sell potted plants and fresh cut flowers. There is free coffee. Everyone is very friendly. There's a tent for folk music jammers - you can join in if you're into that, or just enjoy the free music. The book tent gives a free book to kids, and they can play on the wonderful playground just feet away. The playground has 4 slides, swings, a merry-go-round, toys to sit on and ride, monkey bars, and lots of other fun equipment to climb on. This farmer's market is definitely worth checking out if you live in the area. I recommend buying some fresh peaches or a local watermelon or cantaloupe.

Had a decent selection of products given their size and location. The nice thing about the place is that they get most of their fresh meat from local farms.
