Thankfully the theatre was very clean and the seats were comfortable. Only issue I had is we ordered a large which comes with a free refill. We asked to get the refill early and they said they would give it to us in a bag. I may have misunderstood as I thought we would get our bucket and have the refill in a bag, but instead we were given a giant bag of popcorn and an empty bucket. Not the most convenient when trying to get into the movie and ensure everyone has popcorn, but we made it work! The popcorn was very tasty and enjoyed by all!

The staff here are very kind and make you feel welcomed. The seats are updated and very spacious, with some reclining capacity. You can't bet the prices for tickets and concessions. Very affordable compared to big chain theaters in the area. We had the theater to ourselves which was a nice bonus! The popcorn was delicious. You could smell it as soon as you enter the lobby. I don't make it out to Canandaigua Theatres often but when I do it's a great experience. Glad they are still going strong and happy to support an independent theatre.

As soon as the movie starts this lady gets on her phone talking loudly for like 5 mins. Then she gets off and is talking loudly to herself because at this point she's alone. One of the patrons in front of us went and told staff. Staff came and quietly asked her to stop. That made it worse. Then everyone started asking her to stop talking. Again made it worse. The two ladies in front of us got their things to leave so I followed them out assuming this was going down the cops coming lane. I asked the staff to pause the movie and they did. It was paused for probably 30 mins and handled outside of the actual theater we were in. They offered everyone who stayed free passes for another movie and resumed. The staff stayed calm in a stressful situation and were apologetic for something totally out of their control. I just wanted management to know how good their staff handled this situation. Every time we go the food is good and the place is spotless. The seats are the most comfortable out of any theater in the Rochester area. Recommend all day
