I've grown to absolutely adore Hollywood Theater. Their prices are phenomenal! At only $6 per ticket, it makes it very affordable for me to take my daughters on movie dates. This is a single screen movie theater with recliner seats (similar to movie tavern) They play 1 current movie for a couple of weeks multiple times per day. The parking lot is free and located behind the building. I would also be doing a disservice if I did not mention how delicious their popcorn is, truly the best movie theater popcorn we've had at any of our local theaters. I think they only play one movie in a given period so check their website to see what's screening. Also a great way to catch a movie you didn't get to see in time in theatres, or catching a second showing of a movie you know you like. Hollywood used to have uncomfortable chairs and sticky floors, but recently added brand new comfortable leather recliner seats, which just makes it even more of an awesome experience. Screen and sound quality are great, employees are friendly. My only gripe with them is I do remember them having one of the more disgusting public bathrooms I've ever been in, BUT I have not been in their bathrooms in years and I'm not sure if they've been remodeled at all. I love a good deal and you cannot find one much better than this. Recently released movies are only $2 a ticket. It is cheaper on Tuesday nights and slightly more expensive when viewing a movie in 3D. Even though it is an old theatre, they keep it pretty clean and the seats are fairly comfortable. The have great popcorn and you can get a large popcorn and large soda for $10. Each comes with a free refill. We always share amongst us. Biggest complaint I have is with the bathroom. I have no idea what the men's is like, but the women's restroom is very, very tiny and difficult to navigate. Otherwise, it is a great value! read more

I can't believe after all these years I haven't ever wrote a review about this awesome theatre. So pretty much this theatre plays moves that are still newer, but not as new as your regular theatre. So today Power Rangers is playing, but it has been out for a month or so. The cool part about waiting to come here instead of the normal movies, is that they have steeply discounted tickets. You pay about two bucks a person! That's awesome! The drinks and food is pretty fair too. I get my medium Cherry Pepsi for a lil over 3 bucks and you can get all kinds of snacks and what not for almost half the price of the normal movies. What really reminded me to write my review is that when I came tonight. I noticed a huge difference. They updated their seats to these super comfy recliner chairs that are leather!!! (See pictures) That's awesome! Remember guys, this is a small theatre with super low ticket costs, having these kind of high quality seats is unheard of. You go to the Hollywood to see a movie for $1.50. Not only do you get a cheap movie, you get the pleasure of people watching too. You see it all at the Hollywood. People bring blankets, smuggle in smelly food, watch YouTube videos, whatever. I can't say I haven't enjoyed their relaxed rules myself. Nothing better than a beer while watching movies, right? You should be aware that the theater runs cold, so dress in layers. It's best to park near the back of the lot so you don't end up waiting forever while people wander aimlessly to their cars after the show ends. read more

This longtime theater just keeps going downhill. Their sound system just isn't up to par. But their ticket buying in line is a joke. Having to wait in line with the same people buying food? I just want my movie ticket. Should ALWAYS be a separate line for ticket buyers and concession. Waited well over 10 minutes and movie began while in line ( no credits). Pros: Where else can you see a movie for pocket change? For the price of admission at a first-run theater you can get admission, soda, popcorn, and more at the Hollywood. They also sell movie posters, real ones. Cons: Floors are often sticky, and you can easily get the impression that no one likes to clean the bathroom. Also the staff does nothing when a patron is too noisy. Staff seems to rotate a lot, so I'm guessing they don't really care much about anything anyway. read more

This is a cute theater. You cannot go wrong for the price. It cost me under $10 for me and my niece and three nephews. Where they get you is on the drinks and popcorn. I suggest getting a large and sharing it because you get 1 free refill with a large. The movies they play are already on video but it's cool to watch a movie on the big screen. A very small theatre with sticky floors but you can't beat how cheap the movies are, you can't really complain. The movies they show are usually out in theaters for a bit, so see what your friends say is good and keep an eye out to see if it's heading to the Hollywood. They play the newly released movies just as they are ending their runs of engagements in the big theaters. Here's the thing ...I have no idea why anyone would want to go to those big theaters again! The Hollywood have seats that recline, tasty popcorn that doesn't require a mortgage to pay for, and generally fewer/smaller crowds! If you're willing to wait a little bit before seeing a movie, then this is the place to go! With ticket prices that are a steal, I don't feel badly for buying the popcorn and I also don't feel like I need to cheat and bring in candy from the dollar store...you know how everyone does at those big theaters. I say support the small town business and head here. I don't think I will go to those big theaters again unless there is a movie that I absolutely MUST see on opening night. I recently went to this theater with my sister about a week ago, and it's exactly what I would have wanted. Because it's owned by Zurich, it's identical (albeit smaller) to the Pittsford Cinemas in Rochester, NY. Finding out that detail made me want to try it because I knew the popcorn would be amazing. If you haven't found a reason to go, this should be a major reason (fresh popcorn, hot butter, melty taste that makes you swoon!). Tickets are really inexpensive. At every other Zurich-owned theater, none has prices this low. At only $3 per ticket on the weekends (and only $2 on regular days!), you can't beat the price, and the comfort. The seats are leather reclining seats, so it doesn't get much better. You can pay ~$11 per ticket at Regal with maybe ~$20 in snacks, or you can pay $3 per ticket and less than ~$10 in snacks at this location. I think the only sad part is that this location only plays one movie at a time, but other than that, it's a fabulous time for anyone who wants to bring a large group. read more

I love this theater! For less than the price of a movie rental, you can see it on the big screen, granted a few weeks later, but who cares. I think their popcorn is even better than the Regal theater and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. They also have 3D movies now. Theater is much cleaner than it used to be and it's a great place to cool down on a hot muggy summer day.
