Take the long drive out to Lyons New York, and you'll find an old timey downtown area. It seems to me that a lot of this area has been refurbished in the last several years to recreate the small town feel. Among the antique stores you'll find the Ohmann. I went with two other adults and two kids and we had a large popcorn, two candies and three drinks- the total bill- $52. You won't find recliner seats or ear numbing speakers, but you'll also not have to select seats in advance or buy a day and a half ahead. We walked in the door and choose our seats for Incredibles 2 around 10 minutes before the show time. Note- we were traveling with kids and seeing a movie as a family didn't cost us $100! The Ohmann is beautifully restored and after the previews the curtains closed in preparation for the show. I loved the classic feel and the local flavor. I'll be back for sure!

As soon as the movie starts this lady gets on her phone talking loudly for like 5 mins. Then she gets off and is talking loudly to herself because at this point she's alone. One of the patrons in front of us went and told staff. Staff came and quietly asked her to stop. That made it worse. Then everyone started asking her to stop talking. Again made it worse. The two ladies in front of us got their things to leave so I followed them out assuming this was going down the cops coming lane. I asked the staff to pause the movie and they did. It was paused for probably 30 mins and handled outside of the actual theater we were in. They offered everyone who stayed free passes for another movie and resumed. The staff stayed calm in a stressful situation and were apologetic for something totally out of their control. I just wanted management to know how good their staff handled this situation. Every time we go the food is good and the place is spotless. The seats are the most comfortable out of any theater in the Rochester area. Recommend all day
