The place is super tiny so do not plan on having a table or seat inside the store, they do have a couple tables on the side of the building and they also mentioned that we could also sit at the picnic tables behind the ice cream store next door. The brisket is a bit different as they chop it all up and put in a warming tin. We are so used to me getting point(fatty part of brisket) and the lovely Mrs getting her flat(less fatty). Unfortunately, a recent experience has convinced me that I will not be returning. I placed an order and requested "no meat, more vegetables." I was told that the kitchen was unwilling to provide extra vegetables unless I paid an additional charge. What disappointed me most was not the charge itself, but the attitude behind it. It felt as though reasonable customer requests were viewed as an inconvenience rather than something to accommodate. This is also not the first time I have heard kitchen staff complaining about customer requests. In the past, I have overheard complaints about customers asking for less salt or making other simple modifications to their meals. As a long-time customer, it is extremely disappointing to hear staff openly express frustration toward paying customers for such basic requests. The attitude was unprofessional and unfriendly. After repeatedly hearing complaints from the kitchen about customer orders, it becomes difficult to feel confident about how special requests are handled behind the scenes. I have supported this restaurant for a long time, but this experience has left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I hope management takes customer service more seriously and addresses these issues.
