    Donburi katsu chicken

I have never had donburi before But now I'm addicted it was so delicious simplistic and it's ingredients but high level on the flavor. Katsu chicken flavorfully breaded served on a bed of rice with eel sauce and yum yum sauce. Fresh cucumber sliced on the side A large portion I feel for the price point and good flavor I've now been back a few more times since my first visit.

The wait staff seated us to our table and were friendly and welcoming. The food as always is delicious and full of flavor. I ordered the Gyoza and Dan Dan Mein. If you like spicy I would recommend the Dan Dan Mein. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is of a Japanese theme with decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I first tried this during COVID, and I knew from the start from the way they packaged everything to go, that this place cares about presenting a near-perfect ramen experience that leaves you coming back for more, spreading the word to others, and bringing them into the mix! The last time we came, we went with some friends, tried the takoyaki, which were these amazing fried octopus bites with drizzled mayo, katsu sauce and fish flake on them - very tasty! I ordered the teriyaki chashu pork ramen - delicious (I usually get the miso chashu pork belly which I highly recommend) and we tried their hot sake for the first time which was great, as was the service and friendly staff as always.

Needed some Ramen on this cool, Fall day so we ventured to Oishii based on it's great reviews! We weren't disappointed! Plenty of parking available, as this spot is located in a strip mall. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself was very clean, appropriately decorated, and felt comfy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our servers were incredibly friendly and everything came coursed out with appropriate spacing. We started with the gyoza and cream cheese puffs! Both were delectable, but I'd say the gyoza were the better of the two! I had the Tonkatsu Ramen, which was lovely! Three large slices of Chashu, great toppings, and a steaming hot broth. Their Tonkatsu was a bit less creamy than others I've had but still good! Overall, one of the better Ramen spots we've had locally, so I'd definitely give it a shot!

I got the stir fried ramen with shrimp, which was good (4/5). I've gotten chashu and chicken katsu ramen from here in the past, and both were also good (4/5). The service has been good the three times I've came (4/5), and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the interior of the restaurant is also quite nice (4/5).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The prices are also very affordable $12-$15, so the food is a good value!

Drove out to Oishii last week and was not disappointed. We brought our appetite and left stuffed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quiet for a Saturday night but right before the holiday week.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Seems to be family run - always love to see that and support small business. Our server was very attentive & food came out quickly after we put in our order. We started off sharing a Fried Chicken Bun, it was tasty. The Japanese mayo flavor reminded us of a McChicken - would get again. We each got a Chashu Tonkotsu Ramen + half egg. Broth was thinner than I anticipated but noodles had really good bite to them. Will be back for the same items.

Wow, I have been wanting to check this place out for a while. The place is a cozy little ramen shop, but don't let that fool you. The portions are very generous and the staff is awesome. They are very attentive and friendly. I ordered some of the crispy jalapeño appetizer and was blown away by the taste. Creamy and just a little heat with the crispy outer texture. I ordered spicy Chasu ramen with extra broth and egg. It was so warm and flavorful. Just the right amount of spice and porky broth under tone. The Chasu was nice and not tough like some places. I couldn't finish it all because the portion was so generous. The noodles were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of spring to them. If you have been waiting to try this place, hurry and get there.

The best Ramen I've had in a long time! The broth is so good you don't need to change anything! The servers are definitely on top of it, making sure you're taken care of!

My husband and I took our two nieces here for lunch a couple weeks ago. This was my first real ramen experience. *(I don't love/eat ramen packets at home, but I do like kind-of-like real ramen made at home)* My husband loves this restaurant and has come here multiple times before. He always order the spicy ramen, he ordered the crispy chicken ramen for me (we share), and the girls (18 & 21) ordered some other ones. The girls RAVED (it was also their first ramen experience). I liked it and it was good, but personally it wasn't my favorite food (I'd rather have Indian). The broth was tasty, the slight chew to the noodles threw me off, and the meat choice wasn't my favorite (maybe I'll pick something else next time). The service was good and friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

    That chashu though. *yum*

Yay for fantastic ramen in the south metro! We've tried many places, and this is by far the best that we've had in the south metro. First off, the atmosphere inside is nice and the restaurant is clean. For appetizers, we've had the chashu bun, chicken bun, and gyoza - all of which were delicious. I recall liking their gyoza dipping sauce and the buns were perfectly done! Now, the star of the show is, of course, the ramen. We've had the shoyu and tonkotsu ramen. While their tonkotsu broth isn't quite as rich as most, it is still absolutely delicious (and some can get a little too much by the time you're nearing the end, but this one doesn't). Their shoyu broth is also delicious. The chashu in the ramen is heavenly: flavorful and tender, it is perfectly cooked! Noodles are great as well. We have gone here a few times now and had great service every time! If, like many, your ramen experience has been limited to instant noodles, this is the perfect place to have your eyes opened to the wonder of "real" Japanese ramen. This is a gem of the south metro!
