I will never visit this business again. When I asked how much it would be to print 52 pages of a document, I was quoted 14 cents a page. I chose to print this double-sided so that it used only 26 pieces of paper instead of 52 pieces of paper. The older South Asian male employee then claimed it was 28 cents per SIDE since I chose to print double sided instead of single sided, making it 28 cents times 52 pages! I am shocked beyond belief at such shady practices. CAVEAT EMPTOR. read more

I'm super pleased with both my mailbox & shipping experiences here, they have been a lifesaver for my business. The last time I rented a box here was during the Thomas Fire and they were exceptional in helping my business navigate a disaster with my customers, there were no issues like there have been with another mailbox business. This location can do pretty much anything needed for printing (brochures, posters, etc) and have been super helpful in getting my mortgage documents sent on time via fax when needed. This is a REAL mailbox company, NOT A LIQUOR STORE with boxes added to make some extra bucks. Highly recommended! read more

I went to send a very important government document to another country and needed to use FedEx. The employee basically gave me a paper with a ton of information to fill in and essentially said that's on you, you need to fill that. Okay, once I figured out the bizantine FedEx form the employee took it and didn't even say, "we'll take care of it" or "that's it" -- irs as if everyone is so unhappy to work there. The worst thing is that I was called later in the afternoon and was told that the package was stuck in the Oxnard dispatch facility for some information that they need. If the employees were a bit more helpful, this probably wouldn't have happened. Definitely DO NOT use them if you need to ship something important or if you need some help by the staff that requires effort or patience. It's a bad experience, sadly. read more

Let me start by saying that this establishment is horrible. I was waiting in line for 10 minutes and the lady behind the counter refused to help me. Instead she insisted on helping the people behind me. She told me she was busy and didn't have time. So instead she gave me a form to fill out essentially making me do her work for her. She's a major problem. Not helpful whatsoever. Another issue is that their prices aren't listened anywhere. They're charging $20 for a package to be shipped with usps when there's a $10 flat rate. Because not only does an experienced and knowledgeable person do your job, showing you how to forward the photos to the Business Center, but they listen to any special attention you need for your prints. And the best thing of all is that they take the time to make sure you get exactly what you want. Even to the point of having to stay a few minutes over time. The staff here are friendly and helpful. I usually come here to make copies and their machines are easy to use. No long lines, though sometimes if a customer in front of you needs a lot of help you can still wait a while. My last visit was my favorite - I came in and just needed three black and white copies and they gave them to me free! I think they said their policy was 5 or fewer was free. Or was it fewer than 5? I don't quite recall but I thought that was very helpful of them. read more

It's a shame, because this used to be my, and my organization's go-to place for all of our printing needs for well over a decade, and we loved supporting them. Since the new ownership, it has completely changed; the staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. Despite that, what made me feel compelled to write a negative review was when my coworker picked up a printing job for us there, and they saw our organization's name, the new owner proceeded to badmouth our organization right then in front of my coworker, and to the rest of his staff, and the customers in line. I am still in disbelief. We gave them so much business over the years but we will not be returning, even if that means driving to Ventura for printing. Such a bummer. read more

I used to love getting my printing and shipping needs taken care of over the past 5 years, however I don't think I'll be back. The latest was being told that I could not have prints made from my MAC formatted USB drive (just sorry, goodbye not offered another solution) The time before then it was being turned away 10min before closing when I needed to ship a package. I've been using their services for over 15 years now and I've always had a great experience. Though, the new manager is obviously taking advantage of his monopoly on this service in the area. The guy I talked to made the process very easy, so easy in fact I was somewhat concerned that I would never see my 12 boxes again. This is a deceitful, dishonest, incompetent and inept business run by persons who have no respect for their customers.. There is no sign or notice posted anywhere that discloses their prices. I asked for exactly three (3) copies and scan of one (1) page. The bill was $7. Outrageous!!! It would have been $1.10 total at FedEx and 45 cents at the library. It would have been $1 total a year ago at this business. Don't waste your time or money with this store. They refused to be reasonable or honest. I tried to speak with the "owner" who was 100% rude and nasty. He admits they lie and fail to tell you what they will charge so they can scam you. No prices posted anywhere. No one charges $5 to scan one page. That's ten (10) times the cost at FedEx. AND, They sent me someone else's document, too incompetent to send me mine, violating the other person's privacy and confidentiality. I had waited 20 minutes for assistance, then waited another 20 minutes while they tried over and over to do the simple task of scanning one (1) page. It took 3 attempts, and they continued to include their own advertising on the same page. They don't know what "pdf" means. Their disrespect for and discrimination against the disabled is uncalled for. It was a total loss made worse by the screeching and biting dog with rabies they keep at the store to harass and abuse innocent customers so that you will never go there again. read more

If it were possible to give zero stars for a rating I would. This place has consistently been a disappointment. Not only is there always a long wait, when something finally does get done it's usually wrong. If I don't watch everything they do, it invariably gets messed up. Several times I've had to go back and have documents re-bound or re-printed because they don't have enough common sense or care to do things right. My last attempt to get something done there was today. Hoping against all hope I went to use the notary service. The man that "helped" us was so impolite I was shocked. He was frazzled because they were busy and supposedly an employee hadn't shown up for their shift, which shouldn't make much difference because most of the employees that are there in the flesh haven't really shown up. So instead of politely explaining that he couldn't notarize our document, he made off-handed remarks that were offensive and chastised us for having the audacity to ask for a service that is printed on their door. If you don't offer it, don't advertise. Anyway, the document was very comprehensive (far more advanced than the combined mental powers of the staff there could handle) , but he could have explained his ineptitude in a professional manner instead of becoming defensive and hostile. He actually read part of my private document out loud (a Will) and said sarcastically, "Do actually know you are giving these things away after you are dead?!" He rudeness and sarcasm where inexcusable and difficult to bear. No more Ojai Business Center!! 50 strikes and you're out! read more

On August 6th, I went into the store to pick up a photo I had emailed to be printed. There appeared to be 4 people working and there were no customers other than myself. I was directed by an employee at the back counter of the store to go to the front counter for assistance. I went to the front counter to pay for and pick up my photo. As I stood at the counter, in full view off all 3 employees working behind the front counter, not of them addressed me or even acknowledged me and carried on with whatever they were doing. I stood there a while longer then turned and walked out the back door. As I was leaving, I told the employee at the back of the store that I didn't need the photo that badly. I realize that it was just a small photo I had requested, not a large print job or creative design request but if I ever do need something large and costly, I will not go to the Ojai Business Center. read more

I always come here and have a great experience, until today. I called regarding an Amazon return and before I was able to even get out my question (which was if they do the QR code returns or not) the sales associate who answered the phone talked OVER me, informed me that he had to already answer this question "60-70 times today" and is just tired of it. Really dude, why is that my problem, you run a business and yes, people are going to inquire especially since you're the only one in town and you advertise as doing UPS shipping. Maybe you should think about your customers who unlike you, don't work in a shipping store all day long and so we wouldn't know this which is why I was calling. The amount of immaturity and lack of professionalism will ensure I never return. Very bad customer service from a place I thought was kind and helpful, not anymore I guess. I am a firm believer in a fair and equitable profit being made by a business but these folks rape your wallet. I shipped two boxes the size of a beer case to Hawaii, they charged just under $400.00 per box. I could have bought each box a plane ticket and saved money.
