My husband and I needed a notary the day before Thanksgiving and a rush FedEx return, so we Yelped notary services. What a jewel! Locally owned, they are tucked behind Vons off Harbor, a great Pierpont location and obviously a local favorite, with most customers being greeted by name. Notary service was professional, friendly, informative and made sure we didn't miss anything. Plus our express FedEx was shipped out from this same location. Even better, lots of cute t-shirts, locally made handicrafts, and had to have postcards with names of the Pierpont lanes with cool graphics. A real find! read more

Hold up, there's a place right there!Man that was easy to find and there's ample parking? I like this so far...Coastal Postal, aye? Walking inside, I'm getting the local vibe with all the PO boxes inside and local artwork and postcards. Is this part General Store too? I see records, dvds, stickers and post cards and shirts and down at the end, a smiling gentleman that looks like he's enjoying my childlike amazement that eagerly asks me what he can do for me. I'm done before I realize it since I'm too busy looking around to see if I need to take any of this cool stuff with me. When I turn around to see him smiling again with my shipping info that's been confirmed, I laugh at myself for rushing in and forgetting myself at the door and realizing how cool it must be to be a regular here. Great service, fast, attentive and very fairly priced. Fed ex and USPS, no UPS (don't mind, bad experiences with broken/missing packages with Brown anyway) and PO Boxes. I had a mail box here for 3 years and Justin and his family/staff were always very friendly a helpful. Ive had packages sent to me by my family members to a slightly incorrect address and Justin/crew was always willing to help me locate my package. They are also exspediant in getting your items packed up and shipped safely to whatever location, and Ive had packages sent internationally! I took a couple of items in to mail. He's very friendly and knowledgable but he doesn't tell you the cost of things as you go along. It's like when you go to have a mani-pedi by the time you finish you owe an arm and a leg! Also charges you to use your credit card which he did not tell me the first time . Don't think I'll go back. This is a good service if you are in a hurry and don't have your own packaging. This how it should be done: You must tell your client how much each envelope, box tape costs as you wrap also you need it posted up front that you charge clients for using there credit card. Clients need to to know as your going along how much they are spending not just the final cost. That is just good business. read more

Wow, talk about excellent customer service! Justin explained the shipping options, gave me a discount on the most economical option, labelled the box with several "handle with care" stickers, and sent it on it's way. One of the items arrived broken through no fault of Coastal Postal (I packed the box myself instead of having Coastal Postal take care of it). Justin at Coastal requested photos of the damage and packaging, and submitted a claim to see if he could get compensation for the damage. Although compensation was not possible, Justin went out of his way and did everything he could to try to rectify the situation. No question why this business is rated 5 stars on Yelp! read more

Everyone is so helpful; I was sending a window blind to Douglas, AZ and had copied the address down from my phone call with the company. I must have heard the wrong address. I put down West 9th but coastal postal people looked up the address as they were creating the label for shipping and found that it was East 9th. When I got home and receive the email showing the package having been sent I noticed the difference and called them up. They went online and found that their address was the correct one and my address was incorrect. So they saved me a lot of worry about whether my blinds would make it to the right location and not get returned back to me as undeliverable. That was great service and I recommend that you do your shipping through them. read more
