His professionalism, honesty, and great attitude made all the difference. If you're looking for a car salesman who truly cares about his customers, I highly recommend asking for Marquis. The salesperson was very nice and pleasant but we could tell that he was somewhat new in the position and couldn't give as much information about the history of the care as we'd like. Perhaps the MOST disappointing part of the visit was the supervisor. He was sent over to us after we were concerned with the tightness of the steering wheel (we were told that's how new steering wheels work and you had to "break them in"--fun fact, not how steering wheels work. The supervisor dismissed our concerns and essentially said that he would sell the car to someone either way so we could either take it or leave it. My boyfriend works on cars and was patronized when he explained why a tight and just replaced steering wheel is concerning. We were very disappointed by this encounter. It is very bad business and ethically problematic when a dealership is not transparent or open to essential questions about the stability and integrity of power steering.

My husband and I were shopping for a car..dual military so we had our ducks in a row with money and credit, etc. We didn't want to deal with big dealerships and didn't want to travel far out of the town to find somewhere else (which is what we should have done!!) the salesmen are vultures here! I'm giving them two stars only because the cars they were selling were the only decent thing there! I was pregnant, and we needed a new car. They financed us, we signed, they signed and we drove off the lot, some what happy and exhausted after dealing with them. Two days later, they call us and say "there was a problem financing you guys you have to bring the car back" ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! Who does that?! I've never heard of a car dealership doing that! Ever. Then they say "ok we will try to figure it out but if we don't you have to bring it back" so two days late after the first phone call they say "oh it's fine, we got it" then the bank calls us personally and says "no there's another problem" what the actual fuck?! I would never go back or recommend this place. They also screwed us on money! What jerks! They should be ashamed of themselves for screwing a family over and making such a damn hassle out of it. I also reduced the review to one star because that's how much this place pissed me off now that I've had to think of the story again. I also forgot to mention earlier in the review that during the financing situation I talked about above, they mocked and made fun of us! I remember clearly telling them face I face when we were so conveniently called back (during work!) to the office they said "you guys have to come by today! No exceptions." Excuse me? I work, my husband works full time-don't talk to me like that you guys made the mistake. Well when we got there I said "this has become a very stressful situation for us. How could this happen?" And my husband chimed in about it too saying roughly the same thing, they responded literally with a mocking smile and said "it's just a car guys, geez! Relax!" And laughed it off. Ok so now this situation is funny to you?! Me buying a car off your lot is hilarious now? And your "little" mistake with our money and credit, we are supposed to "relax"?! They just laughed it off. YOU COULD HAVE TAKEN SOME DOLLARS OFF THE PRICE FOR YOUR STUPIDITY! Seriously, DO NOT BUY HERE! Oh, and that's not it! The car we purchased had a cracked windshield and they gave us a letter from them stating they would have the windshield replaced on their dime within 60 days of purchase. No problem. Well of course, we just got our car and needed it badly so we didn't schedule it right away, then the next month my husband and I both had unexpected military engagements and missed the deadline (our fault since we had 60 days I guess) well I called them and explained what happened and asked if we could get it in for the replacement still (this was like on day 90) they said "No, we can't do that. We expect you to stick to the days we allowed no exceptions. They pay for it in advance." Oh really? If they pay for it in advance then what's the problem?? That doesn't even make sense! These guys are SLIMY, DISHONEST, UNCARING SALESMEN.

The price they gave us was the out the door price and car was exactly delivered as pictured. We loved the simplicity of the whole process, no games, great pricing from the start and free delivery to our home! The vets even wanted to show us some of their favorite features of the car which was adorable! We would recommend anyone who is in the market for a Subaru reach out to Cross Creek Subaru in Fayetteville as we sincerely enjoyed working with them. I contacted the Ford customer service center to resolve my issue and the service managers solution was to have us come pickup the vehicle. The manager wouldn't speak to me or return a call even with Ford calling them directly. I wouldn't be so upset except, instead of being honest "we didn't fix it" they put on the paperwork that it mysteriously disappeared on its own (not exactly in those words). So it has been in my possession for 30 hours sitting in the driveway and it's being towed again because the draw drained the battery. (hopefully it's not going to another worthless mechanic) On a side note the sales department tried to be helpful. Julie the loaner coordinator was very friendly throughout the whole process. She tried very hard to accommodate and keep us informed. Mark, the service advisor, tried his best but he was the middle man between an incompetent tech and unsatisfactory management. They were trying to blame the power drainage on our Apple tag keychain or accusing us of a 3rd party application. 2022 Ford F250 Lariat diesel with nothing aftermarket. Completely unacceptable

The good, the bad, and the fixable. **if you are selling,…read morethey don't take POAs.** Buckle up, this will be a long one. By the end of it you might think I should have given a lower rating. Well. The good was just that good. The GOOD: Jenni. Saleswoman that greeted me when my appointment was running late. She got me started on selling my car. Pictures. Information. All the technical stuff. Here is how she became the star of her dealership. Even though I wasn't here job, she freely made time for me. Small talk. Shared tales of past car buys. How she had come to Mazda. Customers she had sold to, waiting for oil changes, came up to her to catch up. Wish her well. If I need a vehicle in NC, I'd buy from her. Ladies. Tired of being treated a certain way when buying a car. You've got an advocate in Jenni. Everyone else- she's a straight shooter. The BAD: called the night before and talked to Jordan. Told him my situation and said it would be a POA sale about 5 times on a 4 min call. Asked how early I could bring it in for an appraisal the following morning and he said 0900. Ask for Rob or Jordan. I showed up at 0855. Sat with Jenni for an hour. Rob was in a scheduled begging of the month managers meeting. (No sign of Jordan) So I was scheduled to come in when a meeting was already in place. Then. Rob picked up all the information Jenni had gathered and left to another office. 20 mins later he was back, where he then introduced himself. He stated that they [dealership] doesn't accept Power of Attorney buys. He was so sorry. And by the way they wouldn't have been able to match an offer I had come in with from another car buying source. They were 2k lower. Jenni said she was sorry for not knowing about the POA. WASTE of 3 hours. The Fixable: Train everyone in the building that you don't take POAs. Have no issue with you having a policy. Just better training. Second. Train people to take better appointments. I may not be in a hurry or have a full schedule, but some customers might not enjoy waiting an hour.

First, I want to recognize Aaron McNeil, our sales representative. Aaron was patient, professional, and never made us feel pressured. He took the time to answer our questions, accompanied us on multiple test drives, and worked with us as we explored several vehicle options, including the possibility of purchasing two vehicles. He was easily the highlight of our experience. As with most car purchases, there was plenty of back-and-forth negotiating. We understood that the dealership needed to make a profit while we worked to stay within our budget. After several rounds of discussions, we were able to reach an agreement on a 2026 Passport that worked for both sides. Unfortunately, once the deal was finalized, the atmosphere completely changed. Instead of feeling like valued customers who had just made a major purchase, we felt like an inconvenience. No manager came over to congratulate us, shake our hands, thank us for our business, or make us feel appreciated after spending over $55,000 on a vehicle. The finance portion of the process was even more disappointing. The finance manager appeared unaware of terms that had already been agreed upon and immediately began pushing additional warranty products. When we politely declined, his response felt dismissive and condescending. Rather than respecting our decision, he questioned it in a way that made us feel talked down to. We understand that additional products must be offered, but customers should never be made to feel foolish for declining them. The interaction ended without so much as a congratulations, a handshake, or even a thank you. To add to our frustration, we were very interested in purchasing all-weather floor mats for the vehicle. We were told pricing was being printed for us, but we never received it. We were later told the parts department was closed. While we understand departments have operating hours, it's hard to understand why a dealership cannot provide pricing information on one of the most common accessories customers ask about when purchasing a new vehicle. It felt like another example of a lack of communication and follow-through. After purchasing and paying off more than 10 vehicles during our 24 years of marriage, this was one of the least welcoming dealership experiences we've had. Aaron provided excellent service and is the reason this review is not lower. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism, customer appreciation, and follow-through from management and finance left us questioning whether we would ever return or recommend the dealership to others.

They settled on Enterprise Car Sales on Raeford Road and purchased a vehicle and have had it for a week. She also told me she asked if they cleaned the car and they said they did and the seats were still wet from the "cleaning." Well I used my carpet cleaner and man I couldn't believe what I pulled from the carpet and seats. The water being sucked up looked darker than coffee. It's just unfortunate because it seems she was taken advantage of. Why would you let this car off the lot in this condition? However, to my disappointment the vehicle was not in the condition pictured online. It had multiple areas with chipped paint on the front bumper, around the windows, and top of the vehicle. It has a large scratch on the plastic above the tire on the driver side going down the bumper. I questioned the salesman why this was not documented online or if it happened during transit why wasn't I notified. He advised it's a used car it's going to have imperfections. Online the listing only showed an imperfection for one of the rims. If this vehicle would have been accurately posted online I would have NEVER paid for shipping cost. This vehicle only has 12,XXX miles and 2 years old. I requested a refund for the shipping cost through corporate due to the way this vehicle is fraudulently shown online. I spoke with salesman at the Fayetteville location they informed me the manager did not see anything wrong with the vehicle. I informed him of all the areas I saw wrong with the vehicle. He stated he would go look and call me back. He returned my call a little later stating those are all signs of normal wear and tear on a used vehicle. They do not show those pictures online because it's normal. I asked him about the scratches. He told me good news he was able to get it off with his fingernails. He wanted me to come back to look at the vehicle. I advised him no way he got the scratches off with his fingernails. I felt of the scratches myself while viewing the vehicle. The scratches did not budge, paint was completely gone, and the metal of the car was showing. He stated he would not be able to refund me but could give me a $199 credit to have another vehicle shipped through Carmax. I explained I wanted a refund and did not want another vehicle shipped here. He refused the refund and stated they don't post all imperfections of cars online. The 360 pictures online are stock photos. They don't have access to take 360 photos. I explained in detail the other photos posted did not show the scratches on the bumper or chipped paint on the vehicle. This was my FIRST experience with Carmax and it will be my LAST. This is complete FRAUD to inaccurately represent a vehicle condition online. I would have NEVER paid to ship the vehicle here if I would have known the accurate condition. DO NOT SHIP/PURCHASE vehicles from Carmax. They are shady and do dirty business! No way he got those scratches off with his fingernails. I have attached pictures of the online post as well as pictures I took today of the vehicle. You can see for yourself how fraudulently this vehicle was advertised. Carmax should 100% give me a refund for its FALSE advertisement! If I could give them NEGATIVE STARS I would. They do not even deserve a 1 star! UPDATE 4/28/26: Carmax Customer Service REFUSED to refund my money. Will only provide a $199 shipping credit to have another vehicle shipped. They told me today they were able to buff the scratch off of the bumper on the vehicle. However, yesterday I was told they were able to use their fingernails to get the scratch off the bumper. So which one is it? Regardless the vehicle had a scratch, chipped paint, etc that was NOT documented online. Again, if the car was accurately posted online I would have NEVER paid to ship the vehicle. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CARMAX! RUNNN!
