They demanded payment before they finished their contract and threatened to file a lien on my home if I didn't agree to pay them before they completed their work. I'm still picking up nails and roofing material in my yard that was supposed to be removed. They also broke all of my flowerbed yard lights and a ceramic bird bath. I ended up contracting another company to finish the job. I have since found out that other companies charge much less for the same work. There are several good roofing contractors out there but Southlake Builders isn't one of them.

We bought a house last year and the seller had a company (not this Gerardo and Eduardo and what appears to be their mom's "company") replace the roof before closing. I never had a contract with the original roofer, nor G&E, but they are suing me for "materials used for the roof on my house" - despite me never receiving a bill from anyone nor having any sort of contact with them. I looked them up on OSCN and they filed two identical lawsuits on 4/15/2026 in McClain County and five identical lawsuits on 4/17/2026 in Oklahoma County as well. Buyer (or anyone) beware! This appears to be some sort of new scam.
