I gave Okc roofers a call pretty late in the afternoon and Joe was able to come out the very next morning. Out of the three roofers, I had come out to give me an estimate. I think Joe did the most comprehensive and detailed inspection of the existing roof, including getting into the attic which the other two roofers did not do. After the initial inspection, Joe was able to quickly work up a number of estimates and give me numerous different options cost and benefits to each. He really took his time explaining the differences and benefits, especially considering Oklahoma's sometimes very enthusiastic weather. Due to the age of the roof and my personal preference. I decided to not go through the insurance even with the expertise Okc Roofers has with working with the insurance companies. Thankfully, after getting three estimates, Joe was able to work up a very competitive price for the roof replacement to go along with the exceptional long lasting warranty. If all that wasn't enough, even after the contract was signed I had a number of questions and concerns leading up to the job. Every time I did, Joe was very quick to respond and happy to answer all of my questions and provide answers or other resources to make the whole process go very smooth.

Like other companies, they were prompt at coming to the house and providing a quote. Price wise, their quote was in the middle of the other vendors. One of the reasons I selected them is their communication, availability, and reasonable/competitive price. I was also impressed their quote included the exact same items that my "initial selected vendor" provided. A Better Way did not have the adjusters findings, but their quote covered all the adjuster had listed. That was affirmation to me that A Better Way is thorough. I did some research by looking at reviews, checking BBB, and requesting insurance coverage for the companies. Even though A Better Way is fairly new (I think April 2024), that did not scare me off. My thinking is that a new company would be inclined to do a great job to develop a good reputation as they grow. I was impressed with my communication with Hollis who answered my questions and shared his knowledge. We talked about pros and cons of options with a focus on the prevalent and variable weather in OK City. I wanted to have the roof installed prior to the end of the year. We set an appointment for the day after Christmas. The crew showed up and started the work around 7:30 a.m. My tenant said there were A LOT of workers, maybe 7 or 8 people. This made the installation go quickly. I think it was because possible rain was in the forecast. I definitely appreciate they were completed before the light rain started.
