I go back to ask them if they have time to swap the rims but keep the tires in the same spot. No problem but he told me $15 and I said wait I thought I already paid for that and he said no. Then I said why not? Why wasn't I charged for it and he just looked at me then said some shit to me in Spanish and said "nevermind, we'll get ya next time" Well if you can't do your shit correctly the first time what the fuck makes you think I'll be back? Plain and simple is they are good but too many people in charge and if you're a white boy or girl and you show up here you'll get fucked around. After I left again I checked the rims and still wrong. We had a flat on the highway and started immediately calling every tire place off I-35. We called Total Tire, Walmart, Hibdon, RNR 20 min before they closed and all told us no thanks. They wouldn't helps us. RNR even told me they "turned off their air" already. We called Discount tire 15 min after they closed and they guy that answered the phone, said absolutely! He asked if we could get him or did he need to come to us!!! Wow! Never again will I use anyone else. They got me back on the road in less than 5 min with a new tire! He told me it's the motto of Discount Tire to always serve, if at all possible! We are so thankful!!!!

However, this was fine by me because there's a place in my heart for independently owned tire shops that carry tires of the used and inexpensive variety. Because who just loves paying for tires really? Not me! I'd rather be spending my money on something fun. But I have to drive so here I am. This place is certainly nothing to look at as far as atmosphere is concerned. In fact I'd driven by it many times and when I saw that it was the closest shop I could get to, I had to really think about where it actually is. It's connected to a convenience store or something so I suppose that's why I didn't think of it right away but once I figured out where I was going, I had no trouble finding it. I just had to hope my car would actually get there. Well thankfully it did. Another thing that I liked about the place is it's open later than most. I'm from Vegas where you can easily find a 24 Hour tire shop if you happen to be in need of a tire at 3AM. In Oklahoma City, that's not the case here. Not that I needed a tire at that hour but I'm a "later in the day" type person and now that I live in OKC, I appreciate places that operate more within my personal time zone. So I get there early evening, around 7pm and the place is really busy. Which makes me wonder why no one else is open late but hey I guess these guys like money because they seemed to be making it. I didn't have to wait long and this really nice girl took a look at my tire found me another one and had the new tire on and everything done in less than 15 minutes. Before I left she told me my car needed an alignment. She showed me my old tire and yup it was hosed. There was so much wear on one side of the tire. It definitely needed something. So she tells me if I don't fix it I'll just keep blowing through tires. From the looks of the old tire I believed her 100%. Since they looked really busy, I said I'd come back tomorrow for the alignment. I returned the following day and they set out to do that for me and told me it looks like I need new tie rods. Yep. I agree. This car is just old and sketchy. So they quoted me a very fair price, got the parts and went to work. The job took longer than they originally had said but they called to let me know this so I didn't come back there and pay for an Uber then just sit there waiting around. I appreciated the update and good communication. When I got there my car was finished and now it drives like a dream (well, for about as much as 93 Corolla can drive like a dream - it's a Corolla, not a Porsche but you get what I mean). I hadn't realized how bad the steering and handling was. I'd just gotten used to it. Now I see it's a night and day difference. Every employee at this shop was friendly and nice. For the most part, they did what they said they'd do and they let me know right away when they couldn't get the car done in the time they'd said and I could see they were really busy both times I was there so I get it, it's fine. I appreciate the heads up. For the price and the good service I'm not going to get upset about my car taking a little extra time. I'd rather them take time to work on it than if they rush through and something gets screwed up. So all in all I highly recommend this place. Thanks for providing great service.
