This will be my new "go to" place…read more I called a week before in regard to having grinding with my rear brakes. I explained that due to my work schedule I really needed to schedule an appointment and they were willing to accommodate for me as this place does take usually make appointments. They really treat customers off a first come, first serve basis. My appointment was on a Friday at 7:30 am, right when they opened. When walking in, I was immediately greeted with kindness and respect. A gentleman took my keys and stated to get comfortable as I did choose to wait for the examination. Roughly 20min later, the same man came back (I truly hate that I cannot remember his name, he is the longest employee there and is also the Manager) and explained that it was both the brake pads and rotors that would need to be replaced on the rear end. I asked if he wouldn't mind allowing me to see the damage first hand. He then took me back to meet the mechanic, Buddy, to explain in depth why he could not rotate the rotors. Buddy then explained that he would be able to have my car completed in 1.5 to 3hrs so I expressed I wouldn't mind waiting for the work to be done. The waiting room is large, and you could actually say that there are three waiting areas. The large waiting room that you walk into, a back waiting room that is enclosed, and a waiting area between the two with two tables and chairs. Their bathrooms are nice a clean and there are vending machines for snacks and drinks. Also, they are kind enough to have fresh brewed coffee at all times for guests and their employees. The best I can explain this business for anyone is a bus station. People are constantly coming and going for quick repairs and needs. But the key takeaway is that EVERY single person were treated the same, with kindness and respect. This place truly isn't there to "make money" off their customers. Everyone was given the same "deal" and given true estimates for work. There was actually a gentlemen that came in and the Manager explained that the work needed was not something they would be able to look at and recommended a place right around the corner for their needs. I really can't stress enough how wonderful of an experience this business offered and I do mean it when I say, I'll be back and will continue to tell my family and friends to visit them too when needed!

Didnt want them to get sprayed with it. Up on the lift and they found a screw hole. A quick plug, checked all the tires and rolled me out. No cost, but I made sure to tip the guys doing the tires. Always a good thing. Harrington is a great place to get oil changes, tires and other small jobs. Pretty much a first come first serve for most things. There is a diner right next door to wait at or they have a waiting area inside and out. Great local business.

Don't let the small town tire shop vibe fool you - these guys knew exactly what they were doing and had me out the door in 10 minutes flat (or no-longer-flat!). I took them A wheel for my wife's 1963 comet that other shops wanted over $100 to straighten. They did it for $45 and it looks amazing no damage to the chrome. Compared to the crap I saw at other places, these tires actually had more than 50% life on them. I found some Firestone Destination LE2 for $65 each x 2... which he said = $120. I am not going to argue bad math. Some lady came out and showed me 4 Cooper tires that were close to new as well but wanted $400... she said it was a cold day so was going to give it for $350. We left since we didn't have my roommates car and figured it is a good opportunity to talk about it. We returned a couple of hours later for the 2 tires for $120. I knew to avoid the mid 40s to mid 60s lady... I can't tell... her skin was so wrinkled by smoking those cancer sticks. As the pulled the tires to the front and we parked right in front if the shop, 2 jacks, impact wrench and 3 minutes later the front 2 tires were off. As they worked on putting the new tires on, cranky lady was bitching that she didn't know how much those tires were quoted... and when she found out, she seemed aggravated at the old man. She then said that there is is $5 disposal fee although I wouldnt be surprised if they recycled the tires. Lady... in this day in age, anyone can look up prices and the Cooper tires you quotes at $400 are $67 brand new each. The Firestones were $100 each, so I am not sure who you think you are fooling, but try not to rip people off since there is no warranty, etc? This is cash place, so that adds to the sketchy-ness. Service otherwise was pretty good although I did smell like I just got out of a dive bar.

Four years ago after an oil change on my 145000 mile car, a serious oil leak developed from the oil pressure sensor, which I had them replace. Last week a serious oil leak again occurred at that sensor. Although standard warranty on parts and labor is 1 year or 12000 miles, since this car had less than 2000 miles since repair, owner Ron did the replacement and oil refill for no charge.
