My brother is treating us to an AYCE sushi restaurant in Sudbury. This place is limiting seating due to social distancing measures in effect so it was best to arrive once the doors open at 11:30am Sunday. Contact tracing info was recorded, wrist temperature taken, and everyone was asked to use sanitizer on their hands. We ordered from a tablet device by selecting treats and quantity requested before submitting the order(s). Our delicious food was served piping hot and staff came back to our booth just enough times to check if we wanted refills of our green tea plus take away our empty dishes. All you can eat Sushi...can't go wrong with the quantity for the price. I recommend Lunch time as the price is much lower then Dinner time.

One of my favourite sushi places in town. More recently the iPads have become the new standard of ordering which has slightly reduced wait times for food. Always impressed with the quality of food. Clean restaurant and in an easy enough location to get to with decent parking. I love the rolls in here but also appreciate how much more there is to the menu. read more

Some girlfriends and I went out to lunch, the shrimp tempura was cold in the middle and the salmon avocado rolls tasted off. About half hour after eating all three of us were throwing up and ended up with food poisoning. Would not recommend and will not be returning read more

Don't like this location too much. My experience there was not a good first impression. Waiter was rude, place was empty but for 1 other table but we sat for a half hour before drinks were taken, and we personally watched the chefs prepare the food without proper sanitization.... We explained that we could not have anything that had come in contact with Shrimp ( all other sea food was perfectly ok!) and the chef that was preparing a shrimp tempura used the same gloves, knife and board for all our dishes. The waiter spoke prefect and clear English and said that no shrimp had touched anything used to make our plates, but when we explained that we saw what the chef had done( and we were very polite about it, knowing the chef may not speak English well or have understood our needs) he apologized and the rest of our food was made sloppy and half-assed from then on.... The waiter was a kind man, but the one older chef is rude and unprofessional. The lack of sanitization and attention to health concerns was beyond upsetting. Aside from that, the food was not all that great in our opinions and they used too much spicy mayo on anything that was supposed to have any spice or kick to it. read more

Worst sushi experience ever. The service was terrible. The servers never greeted us or spoke to us when they would come to our table. They would not even reciprocate a simple hello. Our server was sick with a bad cold and was sneezing and sniffling while bringing out our food. The food also took 30 minutes to come out. We will never go back. I do not recommend this place at all! The service is awful. I ordered over $100 worth of food and I never got it. I instead get tempura crab and some spicy salmon rolls. Neither I ordered. The food is bland and the service is trash. I called to complain and see if they could deliver and they wouldn't. read more

This is the best sushi place let alone all you can eat restaurant in Sudbury! They even have iPads like the restaurants in Toronto. I highly recommend Okinawa sushi if you're looking for quality food and a relaxed environment. I went there for the first time with my boyfriend and didn't know what to order so the server came over and recommended things that they liked and was overall super friendly. However, the restaurant gets packed pretty quickly and we understand that just because the servers don't have time to stop and talk doesn't mean that they aren't friendly, they're just trying to get their job done and as quickly as possible. There are so many options and for the price it's so worth it. Dinner is only $10 more expensive than lunch but you get so much more to choose from. If you go to Okinawa sushi and get dinner I recommend their cheese wontons, Las Vegas roll, beef mushroom roll, bacon wrapped scallops, garlic beef, and the beef teriyaki is the best. read more

DONT GO HERE. I usually love sushi but I wanted to vomit. The sushi was sooo bland and watery. It wasn't fresh tasting and for 30 dollars I ate maybe 5 dollars worth of sushi. When we had lots of extra sushi that we didn't eat (because it was gross) we had to pay extra for it. All the staff were gossiping and staring because we had some extra food on our table. They are sooo awkward. Overall, unprofessional and for your money and time sake. DO NOT GO. Literally never going back and telling all my friends not to either. It was nasty!! read more

The food was mediocre but the prices were reasonable. The service has not changed. They should really work on their customer service skills. We usually enjoy our sushi at Azian Cuisine but unfortunately they are closed on Monday's, which is why we thought we'd give this place a try. Will not be back. read more
