I, being a woman, have no way of remembering what was told to me four months prior because my feeble mind can't remember anything past yesterday. They have to many dentist and they seem to take different insurances because the dentist on Friday does not take my insurance so I have to lose work to go to be insulted by the front desk. I am being "set aside" without a return call. I must always be the one to call. From day one I always say that I am patient ... how long must I wait? Will I.... military ,.... ever get reimbursed? Refused to give my refund and would not return calls. I continually contacted the office for Kim the office manager and she refused to return my calls, emails or text messages. I am out of approximately $7,000-8,000. Now I am told by a new dentist that this horrible bridge will have to be removed as well as the teeth they filled. Told it wasn't done properly. The office would not respond to the BBB complaint. My parents patronized Dr. Douglas since the inception of his practice and it's horrible the treatment and the extremely poor quality of work I received. The bridge look absolutely nothing like my teeth, looks like teeth of Howdy Doody or so e type of character and I informed him of the Great dissatisfaction and he tried to convince me to do another bridge that looks as horrible as this. My 2 teeth that were filled and repaired came out almost immediately and they were aware and nothing. I am in a massive amount of pain and out of pocket my hard earned dollars. This hole in my teeth is extremely dangerous for my health. They refused to talk or refund my money. They literally stole from me. Please don't go there.

I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office, and I honestly felt like they were…read moretrying to scare me into paying for unnecessary and very expensive treatments. I only had a small piece of my tooth chipped and went in expecting to have it repaired with a filling. Instead, I was told that I needed a root canal and a crown, which would cost nearly $4,000 with insurance. They also presented me with multiple payment plans. On top of that, they told me that I needed two bridges for the teeth next to it, suggesting that otherwise I could lose my natural teeth. That treatment was quoted at nearly $6,000. Without insurance, they told me the total could be around $17,000-$18,000. What made me even more uncomfortable was that when I said I wanted to get a second opinion and compare prices elsewhere, they told me to call them afterward and let them know what the other dentist charged so they could see if they could match the price. This made me seriously question their recommendations and whether the treatments were truly necessary. I then went to the dental office where I had previously gotten my teeth cleaned, and their assessment was completely different. They told me that I only needed a filling. They explained that the chip was very close to the nerve, so if I experienced significant pain after the filling, I should contact them because further treatment might then be necessary. They charged me only $175 for the filling plus a $50 fee because I didn't have an appointment. I also asked if there was anything else I needed to take care of. They said I had four other teeth that could eventually use fillings, but none of them were urgent or dangerous, so I could take care of them gradually. The total for all was about $2,100 without insurance. I'm not a dentist, so I can't say for certain which treatment was medically necessary. However, the huge difference between the two evaluations and prices was enough to make me very uncomfortable. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to expensive dental procedures, especially when you feel pressured or frightened into making a decision
