My nephews play for a travel team called the makos and they will come here for indoor batting and scrimmages and things like that. Overall it's not the biggest place and is kinda cramped but it does the trick and my nephews appear to love playing and practicing here. They also love to hit up the pizzeria next door.

So we are about halfway through the spring session and all I can say is...why didn't I do this sooner?! My team is more of an "A for Effort" team. We are here for fun and beer, and we have a lot of heart. But I cannot tell you how great of a time I am having! The beer is affordable, the courts are clean, the refs are on point. I have come in the past, before joining a team, to watch other friends play. I have enjoyed myself on both sides of the field there! I am excited for every game, and am looking forward to coming league sessions!

It's an especially fun spot for older kids, but if you're with a toddler or preschooler, be prepared to follow them literally everywhere. And regardless of age, the are about 8000 ways for kids to injure themselves here, from the jagged rock steps, to the corners on the heavy machinery. My toddler was also eager to follow his sister and climb through the suspended metal tubes, but his feet and legs continued to slip through the spaces between the bars. The place is also huge, with two separate play areas, and no good line of sight. You may want to establish a meet up spot with your kids before they take off! As of this review, the restrooms had not been opened for the season, but they did have porta potties on site. One section of the rubber surface was also coming up, and was haphazardly closed off using cones.

This was a very interesting presentation to learn more local history. Sound system was okay, but sometimes less than ideal with the nearby playground activity which was expected. The nearby interstate traffic would sometimes cause the building to shake very noticeably, which was a bit disconcerting. Seating was okay. I did think it would be nice if the chair feet had either pads or covers installed to help reduce the very significant noise when they were moved across the concrete floor. Plentiful free parking beneath the interstate. Building, parking, and playground areas are all accessible. Playground equipment is VERY impressive and one of the nicest public playgrounds that I have ever seen. Quite a bit of the area has the recycled rubber matting surface, which is very squishy. Today's weather in early March is mid-60s and it was fantastic to see so many people utilizing the spaces.

They have 4 bounce houses also, 2 are huge while 2 are meant for smaller children. Facility is clean, so far all the staff have been nice and friendly as well. I would love for this place to host my son's birthday party!

Highview youth sports is a long time sports organization and set of playing fields in the…read moreLouisville area. You can either enter through the front entrance of Moore high school on outer loop and make your way back to the private parking lot or you can enter through the rear on briscoe lane through the bus compound to get there. They have quite a few baseball fields that are upkept pretty nicely that serves as the home for there optimist leaugue and hosts aau youth league tournaments. I was just here this past weekend to watch my nephews aau baseball team play in a tournament and they do a fine job hosting. Large parking lot so parking isn't a concern and they have a nice concession stands offer. They actually serve fish sandwiches from local favorite hungry pelican. Which is a really good fish sandwich. Overall cool place to play or host some games. Not quite as extensive or large as okolona a few miles away but like that place I'm sure there has been several unforgettable memories made here and many more yet to still be made.
