The penne was bursting with bold flavor--the grilled chicken was tender, the cherry peppers added the perfect kick, and the feta and spinach balanced beautifully with the spicy (not too spicy) pomodoro sauce. It was vibrant, fresh, and perfectly cooked. My 12 year old son wanted to order from the main menu and ordered the Alla Crema. Of course I snuck a bit of everyone's food. The fettuccine was rich, indulgent, and perfectly cooked. The Gorgonzola cream sauce paired perfectly with the grilled chicken, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes, creating a deep, savory flavor in every bite. My 10 year old son ordered the KIDS spaghetti and meatball. He and I both agree that it was delicious. The meatballs were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The portion felt more like a main menu size portion. He took half to go! My girlfriend ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare. It was flawless--Perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. The service matched the quality of the food. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. Drinks were refilled promptly, the timing of each course was perfect, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we sat down. All sorts of people were there - the L, G, B and T were all represented. Great patio in back. I'd be happy if this bar were in my neighborhood in Houston!
