We had the worst experience ever. After talking with friends of our experience, numerous have had similar experiences. We had a Jeep Cherokee that was having fueling issues. Firestone told us we needed to replace the fuel tank. We took it to Olathe Jeep for confirmation that this would resolve the issue. They did their full vehicle inspection though we didn't ask them to. The next day we picked the vehicle up and our check engine light was on and the car had a hard time starting. There was nothing wrong with the car when we took it in. They told us the cam shaft sensor was throwing a code. We took the car home. My 17-year old daughter was driving on I-35 and the vehicle went into safe mode. Here we are sitting alongside the interstate waiting for a tow. Ridiculous. We tow it back and they say they'll look at it. It takes them too long to look at it. We pick the vehicle up and drive it slow in safe mode back to Firestone. Guess what Firestone finds? The camshaft sensor unplugged. You can even tell it was recently done as it wasn't dusty like everything around it. Ridiculous. Terrible terrible experience. read more

I brought my Jeep Cherokee in due to an issue with our driver's seat. They looked at it and quoted us ~$3500 to fix it. We declined and let my father-in-law look at it prior to committing to that expense. He pushed a little on the piece and it snapped back into place. It has been working great since then. I don't trust their staff to diagnose and fix issues properly. I think they just push any fix that requires new parts and inflates labor cost. Needless to say, I won't be coming back to Olathe Jeep Dodge again for any maintenance, oil changes, etc. read more

I own a 2023 Charger ScatPack Widebody with the 19-speaker Harmon Kardon GreenEdge system. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing a blown speaker sound on the driver's rear. I've done some basic troubleshooting, and all other quadrants are functioning properly and sound great at any level of bass. Since I live in Olathe, about 2.4 miles from the dealership, I decided to schedule an appointment for 5/13/2026 @7:30am. I even spoke with a service advisor and informed him that I would be waiting. He informed me that it would take 2-3 hours for his electrical technician to diagnose the speaker or wiring issue as the root cause. They'd then order any parts, if they didn't have them in stock. I was prepared to bring my iPad or laptop and work or watch a movie during the appointment. At 7:30 am, I arrived at the service bay, and the advisor asked me if I had made an appointment. I confirmed that I had. He then informed me that the issue would take a day and a half to resolve. I was surprised and disappointed, especially since I had taken off work for the appointment! I requested to speak with the Service Manager to escalate the issue. Surprisingly, Jared Drew (Assistant Service Manager), happened to be sitting next to the advisor that was assisting me and asked what I needed. I explained that I had made an appointment and did NOT do this through their AI scheduler. I spoke with an advisor and let him know that I'd be waiting after he told me it would take 2-3 hours to diagnose. I even let him pick the day and time for me to come in. So I asked the Service Manager if there was any accommodation that could be made. Of course, there wasn't. I expressed my concern about customers being treated this way and asked if he was okay with it. Jared informed me that the appointment was only with the Service Advisor and not for a car diagnosis. I was shocked and disappointed, as I am not new to this. In fact, in my 56 years I have never encountered such an atrocious service experience. I have owned several luxury cars, including Europeans (Jaguars, MBs, and BMWs) and Japan (LEXUS, Honda, Mazda, Toyota, etc) along with every American (Lincoln, Ford, Ram, Chevrolet) automaker and I have never had a service department lie to me like this. I tried to reason with him, asking if that was the case and why the information wasn't communicated to me when I made the appointment so I could decide on my next steps. I assured him that taking off work wouldn't be my decision. I also pointed out that if they were going to make this their working model, they should provide a loaner or rental car. This is warranty work, and with 23,500 miles on my odometer, it shouldn't be on my dime. Jared tried to give me excuses and even tried to divert the conversation. I told him that I was going to escalate this issue with Chrysler in Detroit. I took the day off today to do just that today and shared my experience on social media to raise awareness. Now, you can decide whether you want to give these guys your business. As for me, I will travel across town to a dealership before I ever step foot in that one again. Had been talking to several dealerships for my new truck, Ford, Chevy and Ram. Blaine was very helpful and told me all pricing and information about the trucks I was interested in, I stopped by the dealership without an appointment and he still made time to test drive the truck I wanted and when we got to the table he offered very good deals and even when I pushed him to get a better deal he did his best to come closer to my idea. The manager was very helpful as well. The Truck has some details that need to be checked and I have to bring the truck back , hopefully the experience with the service department is as good as it was with the sale. read more

I would highly recommend going anywhere else. Recently purchased a used car from here. They told me it had minor accident (front end, likely from "pulling into the garage to far" but that it had been repaired. Then when I went to title the car I was informed by the highway patrol inspector that it had been previously totaled. This was never disclosed to me beforehand or was listed in the carfax. The title they had was from the previous insurance company, which the inspector told me is a common sign that it had been totaled. Now they are saying it is not their fault and passing the blame elsewhere for not looking into the history of cars they buy and sell. After a very unfavorable experience I sent the letter below to the dealership manager. It has been a couple of Months ago and I still never received a response back from them. My roof rails were corroding on my Pacifica. My three year warranty had expired. I took it to Olathe Dodge where I purchased the vehicle. The the girl in the service department I will identify by, with tattoos, greeted me with not with any positive greeting like "What can we do for you" but with "Do you have an appointment?" Very cold and unwelcoming as one could be. She said the service manager would have to look at it. The service manager came out and looked it over and said the Chrysler warranty is only three years. He said he would call me after he looked in to it but never did. He was very confident informing the WRONG information that the corrosion warranty is only for three years but it is FIVE years. A day later I already called Chrysler and they said they would approve the I called back the service manager at Olathe Dodge and informed him about this and he still did not return my call. The whole experience was nothing but dead end roads and again I purchased my vehicle from them! In resolution another dealership fixed the issue. I urge Olathe Dodge Chrysler and their personnel to: 1. Emphasize customer-centric service. 2. Ensure accurate warranty information. 3. Foster accountability among staff. As a valued customer, I hope you'll address these concerns. *Timeline of Events - June 6th: Visited the service department, where I met Hanna, who seemed uninterested and didn't greet me warmly. - June 6th: Service Manager Tony inspected the issue and claimed Chrysler wouldn't cover aluminum corrosion under warranty. - June 7th: I contacted Chrysler Customer Service, confirming coverage for aluminum corrosion. - June 7th: Left a message for Tony, informing him of Chrysler's decision; no response. - July 6th: Called Olathe Chrysler, spoke to an operator, and requested a callback from Hanna; again, no response. *Key Concerns 1. Great experience in sales and then service! - we bought an older model with high mileage for my 14 yr old son - management and the sales woman I worked with were great. I initially didn't want a warranty because I thought It wasn't worth it..... The salesperson highly recommended a warranty because of the high mileage and explained that cars are complicated machines that move at a million miles an hour... things break! I went for the warranty - we ended up using the warranty 4months down the road for an oil leak! Every car comes with a 1month/1,000mile 50/50 powertrain warranty but that would've expired and I would've been hit with over 4,000 in expenses! THANK YOU OLATHE DODGE TEAM! My 14yr old son can get back on the road and into some more shenanigans :D Highly recommend you to these guys. Heed their advice. ‼WARNING‼ DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE CHILDREN. Actually calling these people, children would be an insult to children. I don't know where to begin on how bad these animals are. They knowingly sold us a used vehicle with a damaged cylinder head, which was leaking onto the engine and burning oil. We bought this vehicle for my 14 year old son 4 months ago, son far he drove it only for training accompanied by an adult, until he got his drivers license which was a total of 700 miles. On his last drive the low oil warning came on and we took it to VW only to find out that it was at that VW dealer two months before we bought the vehicle for the same issue. When we went back to Olathe dodge chrystler jeep ram and asked the manager Dean and some other clown what can they do to help us, instead of offering some assistance they immediately refused any assistance and the other clown manager said "I mean you bought a $13000 dollar car" and "at what point does an adult take ownership of a vehicle?", as if they were trying to insult the amount of money that we spent and our intelligence. The car was driven 700 miles and it was garage kept you clowns. These people are crooks, the worst kind might I add. They 100% knew what they sold us. My son and I had been looking for a new car for him online for about a week. It was time to start test driving cars to narrow the search down even more. Saw a Ford Escape that appeared to be a decent deal, and so my wife, son and I started our search at Olathe Nissan. I met with Hank (the sales rep) alone, and told him what I was looking for, and that this was our first stop actually test driving vehicles to narrow down the search. He said that used cars were shared with Olathe Dodge, and they were on their lot, and that he would help us over there for used cars. Hank was understanding, friendly, helpful, and very nice to work with. We test drove the Ford, and my son didn't care for it, and we told Hank. He brought us a couple other cars to look at, and they didn't fit the bill, so he walked the lot with us looking at other cars. We didn't find any. Hank went to go to the manager on duty (don't remember his name, we'll just call him A) to look at the cars they had online. so I went to the bathroom. When I came back, A, Hank, my wife and son had been talking. My wife said "We're done here." but I didn't hear her. A looked at me and asked me in a rude tone "So you know more of what type of car your son wants than he does?" I said yes, because he knows what he likes, just not the names of the makes and models, and that we were just starting our search to buy a car and we're narrowing down what he wants. I knew we had narrowed it down to SUV's now. A said they had a Jeep we might be interested in, and A and Hank went into the office to look at it. My wife then told me that A came to talk to them, and asked my son what he wanted. My son said he was unsure, and that he should talk to me about what he was interested in. A obviously didn't like this, and at that point he became very rude and condescending to my son. She reiterated that "We're done here, and will never buy a car from them! I also don't trust myself to talk to them as I am so upset and angry. So I am walking out." I said I would talk to A and Hank, and they went to the car. When Hank and A came back, I said we're done, and I didn't appreciate the way that he talked to my family. He pushed back that Hank had shown us several cars and we should research what we wanted more. I said yes, how are we supposed to figure out what we want without actually seeing a car and possibly test driving it. A said we were wasting Hanks and his time. As far as I could see, there were only one or two customers on the lot. At this point I left. We had previously purchased two cars from Olathe Dodge, one that I still drive, and had a fairly positive feeling about them. Hank was a pleasure to work with, however, it was the manager's condescending behavior that completely ruined any chance of a sale. We will never be giving them our business again as they obviously don't care about the customer. Only go to them if you know exactly what type of vehicle you want. I had such a great car-buying experience here several years ago, it made my recent service experience even more disappointing. I took my Jeep in three times last month with the same performance issue. I paid $650 for a tire pressure monitoring module that did absolutely nothing. Next, service manager Bob Purvis, recommended a full tune-up and fuel system service for $888 plus tax. I declined and took my Jeep to another shop. For a $38 sensor and an hour's labor, my Jeep is now running like new. Just think, I could have spent over $1,600 at Olathe DCJR and my Jeep would run like crap. Interesting thing about Olathe DCJR, they never test-drove my Jeep--it never left their lot. Is that how they fix cars these days? RIP OFF - This morning i took my Jeep in for an oil change ( had a free coupon) and the Service Advisor advised that i needed a new airfilter. Typically i get them at Walmart or on Amazon for $15 but since the Advisor had it in his hand i said ok replace it ( Big Mistake -my fault). 10 mins later he returned & said my car was ready & he handed me the receipt for service & said " i took a few bucks off on labor since you brought a dozen donuts in for the shop crew".. the bill was for $75 that included labor $15 (filter was off anyway) parts $45, shop supplies 7.50 (for what??) 3% credit card assessment fee, assorted taxes . Next time be sure to ask HOW MUCH? No wonder the shop had a 2 star rating!! Now I know why. Buyer beware. read more

My wife took our 2021 Chrysler Pacifica to the Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM service center due to the Uconnect Theater and back seat displays not working and the head rest of one of the Stow N Go seats not folding. We purchased the Pacifica from another dealer as used. She was told that the Pacifica was no longer covered by the 3 year/36,000 basic limited warranty. The original purchase date of the Pacifica was 2/5/2022 and it currently has approximately 33,400 miles on it so the basic limited warranty is still active. Our experience with service on other vehicles at the Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM service center has always been average at best. Denying an active warranty service claim is unacceptable. We will never use the Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM service center again. read more

Fast forward to Early 2025, and I am attempting to sell my car but the purchaser would like the detailed service records that I had done at Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. Seems like an easy ask so I call in January, get sent to a voicemail with no identifier. Leave a message. No response. Call back in February and get put through the same process. No response. I just called back and the same process with ZERO updates on how or who can get me my records. I paid for the services, but now can't get anyone to tell me how to get the records. This is beyond frustrating and has delayed my sale for three months and counting. Frustrating to say the least. The receptionist are really great though and have tried to hep as much as possible (even when I was not nice or kind to them. I had to call back and apologize because I was rude when it was not the receptionist's fault AT ALL. Had my vehicle for almost a month, charged me 3500 , did not offer me a loaner car or anything, communication was poor, except for Kayla a service representative and they gave me my car back still broken..took it back in next day and they sent me a quote 3 days later to approve via text for another 3000 Ridiculous that they could not fix the problem in a months time and want to charge me now even more service time. At least they gave me a rental this time. So here I sit with a rental , my car is still there, the girl I talked to didn't even know what shape the car was in at this time or if it was drive able. I bought a new Jeep Sahara about a year ago and the purchase went great but their service department is outstanding. I took it in for my 2nd free oil change/tire rotation and they noticed a coolant leak which led them to finding a cracked radiator. Rocky Croft who checked my Jeep in called me back to the bay to show me with the gentlemen working on my Jeep. These two guys couldn't have been nicer and more professional. Literally the worst service I've ever experienced. Took our jeep in yesterday morning because of a bad wire to the back windshield. We were told the entire back windshield had to be replaced to fix this issue. Even though it sounded all we went along with it and let them do it. It should be a 20 minute job. Instead of having the car done yesterday when we were told it would be done, we drove by today and noticed that the windshield had already been replaced but no one called us. We finally got a hold of someone and went to pick it up. The wiring that was bad it had not been replaced and the windshield wiper in the back doesn't even work now. $1200 later in the problem is not fixed. Absolutely the worst service and least competent p I have ever experienced. Update: They don't answer phones, text back, or update customers with any information. Our Jeep has been here three times in the past 2 weeks for the same issue and they don't do loaner cars. We are going to sell our Jeep just so we don't have to deal with them anymore. read more

Its really hard to find a good, trustworthy mechanic. Olathe Dodge isnt it. I knew what was wrong with our Caravan I just didnt have the time to fix it(I do most of the repairs myself). I was initially quoted repairs that were not needed, they were essentially trying to charge double for the work. Reluctantly, I agreed to have it repaired with what I knew was broken(again, it was half what they quoted me). When I got the van back and I went to change the oil I noticed they had left several parts off after they finished the job. 2 bolts, 2 brackets, and two washer/nuts. I ended up just buying the parts from another dealer and correcting myself. I attempted to retrieve the missing parts back from Olathe Dodge, however, they did not get back to me on the concern. read more

Have been to multiple mechanics - wish I could get this issue fixed! I bought my first car here, a 2012 Mercedes C300. The car was on the showroom floor and very pretty and in good condition. The price was decent, and Connor the salesman even got some $$ off the price for me. A big point of sale for me was that at 60,000 miles, they had just put on new brake routers, pads and tires. However, my breaks have squeaked since the week after I bought the car. Unfortunately I was moving out to state or I would have taken it in to ask them to fix. I've gotten quotes from mechanics at $500-$1000 to fix it, since they put cheap routers and pads on and they all need to be replaced. It's been frustrating, , to pay out of pocket what I "saved" since they cheaped out on the parts in the first place. read more
