The dreaded "maintenance required" prompt came up on my dash a few weeks ago. I didn't avoid it for too long and called Molle to get in with the service department on a Friday morning. The kicker, I purchased a Toyota Care premium wrap coverage when I bought my car 3 years ago from another dealer, and the contract says to go to the dealer of purchase. Luckily, the folks I talked to on the phone were chill, looked up my car, and said it was totally fine for them to take a peep. Brandon got me checked in on the morning of service, and he estimated I'd be done in about an hour or less. I made my way to the waiting area and was actually surprised to see how well they'd set it up for folks. There's a good amount of chairs with a TV, and then a little nook with an L-shape table for those of us on the clock who need a spot to post up and work. They even had a convenience corner with a self-serve kiosk to buy snacks/drinks. I was, in fact, done in just under an hour since my car only needed a tire rotation and standard look over for the 35k mile mark (and at no cost). Admittedly, I was nervous to bring my car in after reading a few not-so-great reviews from other folks here, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. Glad it worked out! read more

I wasn't asking about cost but it does raise a concern that they are more interested in charging than providing customer service. I came into the dealership for them to look at 2 specific issues I was having. The person on the phone when scheduling (the second time) ended up putting a completely different reason to come in. When I showed up for my appointment time, I was told that it would take about 1.5-2 hours for them to look over my car and change the oil. After about 3 hours, he came and told me that it's not good. He proceeded to tell me that my car was REALLY bad, that it was SPEWING oil all over the place and my coil was so bad, it would be a matter of time before it broke and I would be in a very unsafe position. He had a list of problems broke down with prices that totaled over 8,700 dollars to fix but he'd be "nice" and give me a 500 hundred dollar discount for 8200. My flabber was gasted. I asked for an itemized list of things wrong so that I could look into it more, but he said he wasn't allowed to give that out (I took a picture of the list he showed me...complete with a 1 thousand dollar misc charge. He also told me how my brakes were past the red mark and needed to be changed right away (I just had them changed not long ago at another shop). He was incredibly pressuring and told me that I just have to do this. After it was clear I was not going to do anything today, he tried to charge me a fee to have them look at it after I was told there wouldn't be. The tech was apparently on lunch, so I had to wait another hour for him to get permission to not charge me. After that hour, I was told that he would waive the fee, but the tech came out to grab a work order and asked if this was another vehicle that he would just get to work for free on, very condescending. Finally free with my car, my dad took it to another Toyota dealership and confirmed that I did not have any leaks (I park in the garage and don't ever have a puddle...or still have oil for this supposed SPEWING to not be happening), my suspension was fine, brakes were good, and did choose to fix my minor issues with them. Total with them, 300...a whopping $7900+ in savings. This was the biggest untrustworthy experience with a dealership I have EVER had. Oh, I should mention before I walked out, I got told the mechanic would LOVE to buy my car if I would sell it...Trying to take advantage of women isn't a good look and I will never take another vehicle here again, nor my family. read more

I had an appt. at 8am to have an oil change at Molle Toyota (103rd St. location). I arrived at 8am and was in the waiting area by 8:10am. I told the service consultant to pls. ck. the brakes as I had felt some shimming at high speeds. He didn't mention anything about only a bay where that technician works would take longer. When nobody had come in to talk to me or tell me my car was ready, I walked out to the service desk at 10 minutes to 10am. It was then explained to me that my car was not even in a bay and nothing had been done as of that time. I had another appt. and had to leave. I was told by a supervisor that when I came back, he would take care of the oil change for the inconvenience of having to come back, so basically comp the oil change. Okay, great. I told him I would call and make the appt. as soon as I got home. I did and AGAIN over the phone he told me he would "take care of my oil change." Today I went in for my oil change, tire rotation and to have my brakes checked. First the service consultant told me it would be $329.00 to resurface the front brakes and add new pads and another $329.00 to resurface the back brakes and add new pads. I asked how much the new pads were and he told me $99.00 for frt and $99.00 for bk. That left out of the $329.00 the cost of labor to be about $229.00 which included the resurfacing. So, I asked how much to get new roters, if I was going to spend that much money anyway. I was told new roters would be $480.00 for frt and bk. So I assumed labor would not be as much since there would be no metal to resurface, etc. and it might run 480.00 plus the 2 - $99.00 for pads and maybe $300.00 to $350.00 for labor for a total of $980.00 or so but I was told it would still cost me the $660.00 plus the $480 for a total of $1,140.00. Uhm, that didn't make sence to me and the service person just kept telling me that is what it costs and was irritable with me I guess for questioning this. Anyway, I decided to just have them resurfaced and new pads.....now here is why I am really upset with this service dept. I expected them to take care of the oil change (which I was told a 3rd time they would do) and my charge would be for the tire rotation and the rotors and pads ($329.95 + $329.95 + $19.95 + taxes, etc.). The website had a coupon on it (good thru 6/30/26) for $50.00 off a service of $350.00 or more. My service more than qualified for that $50.00. But when I got the bill, the invoice took the $50.00 and applied it towards the oil change (which btw, did not meet the criteria for that coupon) - so the oil change was not "taken care of" - I call that "funny bookeeping or cooking the books" so to speak. And then when I mentioned it to the service person, he just did the ole' talking out of his side mouth and blabbing "oh but see it came off here and we added this here and dah dah dah". They must think I am stupid because I am an older woman?!!! My total bill was $707.22 when it should have been about $655.00. They did not give me anything for my "inconvenience". I knew it then and decided not to argue but they have LOST MY TRUST, MY BUSINESS, AND I NOW KNOW THEY OPERATE IN A RATHER OLD-STYLE "SNAKE-OIL SALESMAN" type of way and if the service dept works that way, I have to assume so does the salesmen, the finance guy and that is the culture that exists at this dealership. Anybody else could have walked in and gotten brakes resurfaced and new pads and used the coupon for $50 off. And frankly, they knew that but thought this lady won't figure it out and that really makes me mad! read more

They lied to use about several things including how much the taxes would be and that our car was certified and would get the free oil changes and now they are telling us that it's not actually certified and we don't get the free oil changes. they also told us that they were going to wash our car before we got it and they didn't and then see all the scratches that I had on it. I bought a new Camry from Molle Toyota in 2020 and used the Service Department there for all maintenance since then. Recently received "failure" messages regarding the blind spot detection system and asked the Service Department to evaluate this issue. My vehicle was returned with an 8 inch gash (about 2-3 inches wide) on the right rear side panel just behind and above the right rear tire. I brought my vehicle back as soon as I saw this gash and asked for help closing this gash. The assistant service manager asserted that this open gash was present when I brought the vehicle in for repair. I was shocked by his comments and refusal to help close this gash. So much for customer service or loyalty after relying on their Service Department for the past 6 years! I will never have anything to do with the Service Department at Molle Toyota again and urge other consumers to exercise great caution! read more

I have unintended acceleration. I like my dealership (Molle) but they aren't as valuable without the support of the manufacturer. Yes, I have an old car, 2012 Rav 4 Sport 4WD. Beware of the service center. I had to have my cooling fans replaced back in September here, due to my vehicle overheating. I noticed it began overheating again less than 6 months later. I brought it to a different dealer out of state, because I'm a healthcare traveler. It was diagnosed as having the wrong cooling fan parts been put in (by Molle). So I call Molle to get this issue resolved, because their Terms and Conditions, regardless of aftermarket parts, say right on their website: "Our repair work is warranted for 12 months with unlimited mileage and our personal guarantee." However, they are refusing to cover the cost for their mistake, after already having paid $1400 for the original job, and I'm now being told I have to pay for the job again, which will be $1900. The manager that I spoke to, Jason Murray, a very rude and unprofessional manager at Molle stated verbatim, that he would not be helping me, because he knows for a fact that they did the job correctly, and that it was not their problem due to aftermarket parts that were used, when it was not done correctly, per the Toyota dealer where I am at currently. Regardless of aftermarket parts, as a paying customer, when paying for such costly services, one would expect and trust for a job to be done correctly especially considering their website says: "At Molle Toyota, our highly experienced, knowledgeable and friendly staff is ready to take care of your Toyota service and repair needs." This is however, not true and are in fact stealing from their customers. They've stolen $1400 from me, because the job they did was wrong and they're not only lying about it, they're refusing to help me and cover/fix the mistake they made. Taking this as far as I need to, to protect this from happening to anyone else. Take your money elsewhere. They're crooks. read more

It's been several years so it seems like as good a time as ever to write a little update to my review of Molle Toyota. Since 2015 we've said goodbye to one vehicle and hello to a Hybrid Rav-4. Our other car is also a Toyota so we tend to come here to get both vehicles serviced. I've pretty much had all of my cars serviced here since I inherited my first ever 1996 Camry back in 2007. I will say that I do think the service has gone down in quality over the past five years or so, and I'm not sure if it's just part of how everyone seems to be slightly more grumpy as we emerge out of a tough few years, or what, but for the first time ever at this dealership I've had some errors and slight issues but they are always resolved. For example, even though they offer online scheduling, it hardly ever works correctly. I scheduled service for one of our cars a few months ago online and they called my husband to say that they had to cancel since they'd overbooked. First of all it was a bit frustrating that they called my husband since I made the appointment, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on that one and hope that it's because that's the number they have for our account. When I called to inquire about why it was cancelled they told me they had space and could fit us in, so I ended up going and having a very nice experience, as I often do, with their top notch, friendly, service center technicians. Just a few weeks ago I had to go back because our older car wouldn't start and Molle was kind enough to help me secure a tow truck and fit the car in as soon as possible. So, overall Molle is still a great and trustworthy place to get work on your car done. Take it from someone that has been coming here nearly my whole adult life - they aren't always perfect, but they really do work to make things fair, and right. read more

On April 27th I submitted an online inquiry about a truck showing in inventory. I heard back from their AI text assistant on April 28th and then from a salesman named Brandon. I let Brandon know we were interested in Tacomas and what specific features and colors we liked. He mentioned that while they didn't have a Limited trim level on the lot, they had an upgraded SR5. Tacomas are flying off the lots in the KC Metro area, so I mentioned that I'd like to test drive one before we made a purchase this Fall. Since it was next to impossible to find a Tacoma on a car lot, we'd never test driven one. We weren't going to put down a deposit and get in line without ever driving a Tacoma to see if we even liked it. I was extremely clear we weren't purchasing yet, but he still said we could come by to test drive. We set up an appointment for May 3rd. When we got to the lot yesterday, we test drove the Tacoma and Brandon mentioned that the Tundra's had better incentives (cash off and low rate financing). With that, there was a small price difference between a Tundra and Tacoma, so we decided to test drive the Tundra and see which we liked better. After test-driving, we went in to "talk numbers". Again, I was clear here that we weren't ready to purchase and I only wanted a rough estimate of payment amount. I even said I could use an auto calculator online to find it. Of course, Brandon wanted to have their "finance guy" run the numbers. We didn't run our credit and were clear that we weren't purchasing. We weren't even sure if we wanted to Tundra or Tacoma, but he and the finance guy ran numbers for a Tundra Hybrid that they had on the lot. Then got up and went to the finance guy again and came back with lease options that were cheaper. I think at this point they were thinking we were hung up on the payment amounts or something. We weren't. We just had no intention of purchasing until Fall as we had clearly stated many times. Brandon then asked "So it's a no to this truck today?" We told him that we weren't buying that day, no to the truck, etc. He said he needed to go talk to his finance guy one more time and the finance guy would come over and talk to us to make sure Brandon did a good job because he was newer at the dealership. A couple things here - One, we liked Brandon. He was never overly pushy and was doing his job as a salesman. We would have come back in a few months (Sept/Oct) to purchase with Molle Toyota and worked with Brandon. This review is no reflection of the work he did. Two, the sales floor is very open with tile floors and no acoustic dampening. At the time we were the only customers in the building and it was very quiet. The finance desk was 15 feet away and the finance guy, Thao, sat at the counter/desk facing us. When Brandon walked over the last time to speak with Thao, I could only hear bits of what he said to Thao explaining that we weren't jumping on anything they put in front of us, but I could clearly hear Thao say, "What the fuck's she doing here then?". It was at that point that my husband and I looked at each other and said we were leaving. As we walked past the finance desk, I told Brandon that he did a great job (in case the story about him being new was true), but told Thao that he might want to be sure his voice didn't carry before making little comments. I'm really not sure how I could have been more clear that I wasn't purchasing that day. I also don't think it's too much to ask to test drive a truck that is never available on their lot before I put money down to purchase one and wait 2-3 months for it to be delivered. They wasted their own time by spending an hour trying to get us to purchase a truck we stated numerous times that we weren't purchasing. And now they've lost the sale completely because they couldn't wait a couple months for us to come back and purchase and felt the need to make asshole comments about a customer where the customer could hear. read more

Safety component in driver side door broke. A component essential in a crash. They completely disassembled the door then told me they couldn't/wouldn't fix it, take it to a body shop. Didn't fully explain what broke, what is wrong or why they couldn't fix it. They then emailed me saying they want my car in trade. I clicked to see how much. It then said error jk we don't actually want your car. Waste of time and half a day at the dealership. They never bothered to follow up with me so I will take my business elsewhere, as they suggested. read more

On March 10, 2025, I went in to have the oil changed and the tires rotated and balanced. I signed their contract to have this work performed. After a while the tech (Jacob Levan) approached me and said my front brake pads really should be changed. He said it would cost $199.95 to have them replaced. I said if the total cost is only $199.95 I would go ahead and have the extra service done if he'd also accept a 10% off coupon that I had and he said that he would. Mind you, he and I only said and agreed to this extra work verbally. They never obtained my signature for the work. When I got the bill, they had charged me $329.95 for just the brake pad replacement service alone. The total bill with oil change and tire service came to $413.33. When I got home and started looking at my entire confusing bill, I realized just how much more I paid than I expected to. I called the service manager (Chris) and requested a refund of the difference of $329.95 - $179.95(199.95-10%coupon) = Refund of $150. All the service manager (Chris) wanted to do was argue and belittle me. For this reason, I requested that all further communication be done via email. He never offered any resolution and I have not gotten any emails from them since. They pretty much blew me off. For this reason, I have submitted this complaint to the BBB. Resolution would be a refund of $150. Difference between what was verbally told for the brakes and accepted (199.95-10%) and what was actually charged ($329.95). read more

In general the service department has done a nice job for me over the years. I just had a 40,000 mile check up and the female service technician suggested I buy new tires before paying for a rotation which was very honest. However I was just treated like a "dumb old lady" by a male service technician who spoke down to me and evaded simple questions about the battery health and Bluetooth failure of my vehicle. I am 40 and know a few things about cars. He embodied every stereotype that keeps women away from car dealerships and service departments. So the jury is out on quality of service. My advice is to switch technicians if you are delegated a bad one. read more

Well folks, this is about as happy and relieved of a review that I could ever write. If anybody wants anything from me, hit me up now because the getting is good. First things first: I shopped around for my car a few years ago and knew exactly what I wanted. The first two dealerships I went to were woefully understocked, and one of them was trying hard to push a Hyundai Mom Wagon on me. I went to Molle Toyota Certified Used cars before they closed one evening and thought, "I'll at least check them out real quick." About an hour and a half later, I drove off with the exact car I wanted, and had a friendly, non-pushy experience the whole way through. I was really pleased with the experience because I'd bought used cars before but never through a dealership. I didn't understand all the financing details and they walked me through every step. Very nice. As everyone knows with a car, they usually find a way to be a pain in the ass on more than one occasion. Early on I had this weird moisture issue where water was coming back through the car and the whole thing smelled like French cheese. I take it to Molle Repair, and through warranty they hooked up a loaner. NOW here's where it gets good. I'm into it with this car now, over 70K miles and haven't had a problem. One morning my engine decides to not start, and eventually starts to what would be the equivalent of a small earthquake. I immediately took it into Molle and they said that they would have to tear the engine down to figure out what's causing it ($1,200), and that it might be a head gasket ($1,500), or worse... Now's also a good time to mention I've got a wedding & honeymoon planned this year. I'm going to be in the house market very soon. I had a minor (okay, a major) freakout! Steve and sales manager Brian assured me it's 90% covered by warranty but that they never know until they get in there and have an inspector examen it. If covered = $50. If not covered $=~3,500. Gulp. They hooked me up with a nice clean complimentary loaner and I was on my way, nervously anticipating the call from them one way or another. This week I received a voicemail from Molle, and ripped the bandaid off to find out if I should cancel the next five Christmases. They let me know that the total would be $50, the cost of the warranty and that everything is COVERED! YES! Folks, I hope you didn't read this all for your own sake, but take one thing away: The folks here are legit, the Certified Used Warranty is a hell of a deal if you don't mind buying a car with 20-35K miles already on it. While I can't guarantee they'll cover everything, their 7 year/100K powertrain warranty is more comprehensive than most and really saved my bacon. Not only that, but now I have new life in my car and shouldn't have any related issues for some time. Thanks again Steve and Brian for getting this handled, and while I miss that nice clean loaner, it's good to have my Yelp schwagin' wagon back. read more

I've taken my 4 Runner to Molle for all my service needs for six years. I've always been pleased with their work and customer care, recommending them to everyone. I've been tied up at work, so my wife took the truck in for an oil change & rotate. When I returned home I checked the dip stick as I always do. I found my newly changed oil to be dark & foul smelling. My wife returned to the dealer this morning. The service advisor inspected the dip stick and informed us that the oil appeared to be perfectly fine in appearance. Refer to my posted picture. Our cousin took his Corolla to Molle Toyota. It was running rough, has issues starting. They told him it was a bad head gasket, and that the repair would be $3200. Obviously he didn't want to put that into an 11 year old car, so they offered him 500 bucks on trade and tried to sell him a 2020 Corolla for 20k. That seemed fishy to both myself and my Father in Law, so we picked up the car and brought it back to my place. I hooked up my Scanguage and pulled 4 codes, 3 for ignition and one for an errant signal from the MAF. I pulled the MAF sensor, hit it with some cleaner, cleared the codes and fixed all 4 issues with about 32 cents worth of spray and 5 minutes worth of time. There is absolutely no way there was any diagnostic work done on this car, and if there was, the Tech that did it and the service manager that signed off on it need to be retrained, fired or have their ASE cert pulled, because that's horse shit. I'd say I'm surprised by their behavior, but I'm not. I am however appalled and extremely disappointed that they would attempt to pull some shit like this. He's not a native English speaker, and I can't help but feel like they noticed that and took complete advantage of both that and his lack of automotive knowledge.
