First thing they answer the phone so kindly and ask the right questions. They have full transparency pricing. They fixed our air in a day by replacing our compressor. When we took it home that night it wasn't working quite right, so they took it right back and even loaned us a car! They had it back to us the next day and it's working perfectly now. Took my car there for some repairs after it was stolen. From the start I was told repairs would be covered by insurance and I would only be responsible for the $500 deductible. Car was finally completed and was told I owed almost $1,600. I would have taken elsewhere if I knew they were going to overcharge me, couldn't get the car back without paying what they wanted. Edited since response: Horrible experience. Said that my car would be fixed by Monday, I didn't get it back until Thursday. I had to call on a daily basis to get any kind of updates, and even then the responsiveness was spotty. Brought my car in with some minor issues, and when I finally got my car back there was a whole slew of new problems with my car, including a braking issue. I took it back in and they said that nothing they would have done would have caused this issue, and that they'd be happy to run diagnostics...for another $400. Would wholeheartedly steer anybody elsewhere if they're looking for a trustworthy autoshop. The only communication issues were from Tom's side of things, not ours. I was forced to go out of my way to reach out to them to inquire about my car. I took my car for a simple air bag fix and for 2 new tires. I've had my car for over 3 years now, have never had an issue with my brakes. I take it to Tom for a weekend, I leave with a serious brake issue. No apology, no "I'm sorry this happened to you!". Just a "nothing we did could have possibly caused that" response and an offer to fix it for more money. read more

No estimate up front, even if you know exactly what needs fixed. I won't take my car anywhere before I know some idea of the cost when I know specifically what is wrong. Now I also have a part that I have to have that they won't update just because I chose a different service center for repairs. read more

Went into this shop late last year without calling or an appointment and talked to the staff about getting some muffler and exhaust work done on my truck!! I have to say this shop knocked it out of the park... very knowledgeable, fair priced and honest. They fit me into their busy schedule asked me what I was looking to do and they showed my options and they had it done in a couple hours!! Just incredible service! More than once I have picked up my car for one service item, but Tom added on extra value by replacing the windshield wipers for nothing, or an oil change for nothing. I think he knows repeat customers are the backbone of his business so he treats them like gold. Service is prompt, fair and honest. If you can't afford full on repairs then they are willing to let you know what they can do within your budget. We were visiting from out of town when we heard a rattling from the engine area. We were scheduled to leave the next day so we were anxious to find a mechanic to help us out. After looking at the great Google reviews we called Tom's. Tom's told us to bring it on over and they would look at it that day. They even gave us a courtesy shuttle ride back to our hotel. After just a couple hours they called saying we had a screw loose. (I've been told that before! Lol.) Tom's said they tightened it and it was good to go. They also said there would be NO CHARGE! I took my car in for a routine oil change and left with a vandalized car. I immediately could tell something was wrong with the suspension--my car was now riding like a Jeep. Every little bump shook my car dramatically. There is a noticeable difference in the distance between the tire and front fender lining. My car sits way lower now. I'm very upset with the circumstances and do not recommend this auto repair shop. After calling Tom and telling him about the condition of my car he asked to see it again and find out what may be wrong, but I can't trust a company that already screwed up my car the first time. All I wanted was an oil change, and if they had the audacity to try and change something with my car so that I bring it back to them in order for them to make more money, then shame on Tom. It seems to me this is a stereotypical mechanic who is dishonest and greedy. read more

Where two panels joined on our car, along the front side, one panel had popped up and was protruding about 1/2 inch. Checked with Molle Toyota's body shop and were told it would cost $25 to get an estimate, so we declined. Took the car to Tom's for an estimate, waited about 15 minutes, and when the man returned he handed us our keys and said it was fixed! When we asked how much we owed him he said, "No charge ". Now that is service! We plan on getting our service at Tom's from now on. We can see why that business has a five star rating. read more

My wife found Tom's online. I took them a quote, for a second opinion. They didn't agree with the quote. They told me the real problem with my car. They were all about pleasing the customer and getting me back on the road. They saved me $800 and knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. They are a true auto repair shop. You need it, they can do it. Utilizing the press for my wheel bearings is something most shops can't do. All my future repairs will go to Tom's. read more

The guys at Tom's are honest guys just trying to fix as many cars as they can while being upfront and friendly. I took my Buick to them with a misfire that I could not figure out. I replaced plugs and wires and the coil for a dead cylinder and when I was still having issues I limped it to Toms on a Friday about noon. They were upfront in telling me I would get looked at and probably have back that night. However the misfire was caused by a bad ECU which was quickly diagnosed but the part was not available until Saturday. The guys got the part in and made the repair and waited for me to pick it up because of the problem with getting the parts. What I didn't know was when I picked it up on Saturday they had been closed for almost 2 hours and they still waited on me to get there to get it rather than telling me "too bad you'll have to wait to monday". I really appreciated that level of service and I was a new customer with no prior relationship. They charge a fair rate for good work, which is more than I can say about most repair shops. read more
