This is such a huge price jump, especially for those with multiple kids. We've only been members for a month before this and never got told about this change when signing up & there is no grand-fathering in current members. I've also driven all the way out just to have a sign saying the center is closed for the next couple days. There is little to no space for working out other than on equipment. Overall it has just been a constantly disappointing experience no matter how much I've tried to enjoy the membership.

They said it was a celebration of life. I am celebrating life as well with a Princess Theme birthday party. As a resolution, they offered to move my party up so it could end before 3. They also asked me to change my date, select a location outdoors with June heat, or use one of the centers that did not have a pool. I feel like their actions are discriminatory in nature and not business oriented. When you are renting a venue, you have to be flexible and understanding regarding concurrent events? If the venue expects quietness then perhaps they should have offered the other party a time frame where the venue would be empty. This facility has a great indoor pool and will be packed in the summer!!! It's unfair to cancel my reservation due to them not believing I should be next door. I am extremely disappointed, hurt, frustrated, and confused. I have made plans for family for all over the US to be in town this day. I am simply pressing this matter to the highest level possible. You can't treat consumers in this way and think that sending them away is the best solution. Again, I was prepared to sign my contract and was within my window to pay for it. They chose not to pick me. I want be silenced. It has taken too much planning on my part. Be aware of discriminatory behavior and complain all the way to the top.

They could start a men's recreational volleyball league. Not to mention the amount of stress that could have been put on the coaches. Getting called at a royals baseball game With there child that was another male on the team. Gardener recreational center needs to seriously. Do something for the male gender that plays volleyball. There are club teams in the recreation league that no one even bats an eye for but when it comes to a 13 year old boy playing volleyball. you have to change the rules twice because "it's not safe." gardener you have issues.

My kids love it here. My oldest's favorite spot inside is the mini soccer field that is by the pink…read moreslide. This area is not the greatest for littler kids when the older ones are playing though, as balls are flying hard and fast. My youngest's favorite section is the slide that you have to ride a little cart down (roller slide). They have a type of bumper cars that require extra money to ride, but each time we have went, multiple bikes/cars were not working or stopped mid-turn. There are claw games and air hockey that costs extra as well. Each person, parents included, are not allowed to wear shoes inside, but need their branded socks. I do like this for the germ factor, but if you aren't prepared (I was wearing flip flops), the extra sock charge is there. For pricing, it is expensive. For a couple hours, it's a lot, but the benefit there is that they allow you to leave and come back that same day, so if you are making a day out of it, it makes more sense. For working parents, I couldn't get a wifi signal, but I did see a few adults with laptops, so I'm guessing they used their phones for signal. If noise bothers you, this place isn't for you...it's LOUD. I'm used to kids playing and having fun, but the walls seem to bounce the sound more than normal. When kids went in the light room and screamed, it echoed through the entire place. As far as food, there are only snacks. They have a few drinks and snack items to purchase, but if you are looking for a meal, you will have to leave and come back. The employees were nice, but the amount of times I saw a kid get hurt or do things like bring a bike to the top level and try riding it, there didn't have anyone watching to make sure kids were being safe. I was on edge the majority if the time watching kids (not mine) that were on the verge of getting hurt or go back to their parent in tears. To me, this place is good if you are in their with your kiss and plan on spending a long time there...or special occasions.

I found the room for the party to be clean and well set up. It's nice that it's such a big room so you can accomodate a large group. I'm not sure if you can just take kids here to play for a fee or not, but if you can it might not be a bad place to explore on a cold or rainy day to get the wiggles out!

Their workout area is not extremely large, but it still has a lot to offer with its array of free weights, workout machines, treadmills, etc. One thing I enjoy while utilizing the track is checking out all of the events they offer that you can see advertised on their screens. Their pool area seems pretty great as well, though I haven't used it myself.

There are a few in the Kansas City area. Each one has a social calendar with planned activities. Things like: a book club, art activities, and educational . There is a fitness room where they do group exercise classes plus a workout area with a few cardio, machines and strength training machines that are powered by air pressure... No clinking weights and super easy to adjust. Such a great way for an insurance company to outreach within the community. Absolutely no strings attached! If you want to use the way equipment, they would like for you to do an orientation. Some of the activities require an RSVP because of needing to have an appropriate amount of supplies. The first time you come in you register with the first name and phone number. Every time you visit you check in. That's it! Such a fabulous resource in our community.
