Take the stairs up to get to the entrance of the Urgent Care Center. The other way to find a place is to park in the garage and then walk around on the outside of the garage to find the stairs that lead to the entrance of the Urgent Care center. There are signs on the walls that will indicate the Urgent Care Center. Cons: First, they give you forms that are copied from an original that was obviously highlighted so you can't see some of the words. I don't understand why they can't get a clean copy of the forms. Second, the forms are outdated and do not have a lot of room for you to write your medical history, medications, etc. Third, the medical assistant needs more tact in communication. She opened the door and pointed in my direction, but I was sitting around a group of people, so it wasn't clear who she was pointing to. She should have announced the last name of the person. It's rude to point fingers at people. I tried to clarify if she was asking for me to come up, and then, she says yes you. She has very poor communication skills. She does not greet you at all. She doesn't explain the process or what to do after the visit is over. I have managed medical clinics, so I know what I am talking about. Pros: The receptionist seemed proficient. The place is clean and seems organized. The wait is usually not that long, but you can always call ahead to see how long the wait is. The physician assistant seemed proficient and was friendly. As with any medical visit, always call ahead to confirm if they take your insurance and bring your ID and insurance card(s), a list of your current medications, medical conditions/history, and other names of your other doctors to make it easier. I would visit them again to give them another chance if I ever needed Urgent Care again. I hope they use this feedback to improve.

Once you enter and check in, they tell you to have a seat and fill out paperwork. They call you, introduce themselves and tell you where to go and change. When it's time to enter the scanning room, it's sorta erie. To be honest - the process is slightly uncomfortable, but I try to focus on good thoughts and and maintain proper perspective. The scanning takes about 10 minutes. Typically, you tell them who your Primary Doctor or Obgyn is and they send the results to them. Then you're supposed to check back with your primary care or obgyn doctor to discuss the test results. I never do that step because I forget. They will mail the results directly to you within 1 month of the appointment so you can get results that way as well. Service at the check-in counter is sort of chaotic or hit or miss. - 2 stars In my personal opinion, I felt as though the overall attitude of professionalism has a lot of room for improvement. I got the sense some of the ladies were either not quite awake, bored, or lacking enthusiasm in their job and did not want to be be there. Not super welcoming. I felt like a number because they lacked warmth and hospitality. Smiles go a very long way during a medical appointment that causes many people anxiety. Nevertheless, stay on top of those mammograms! Encourage a friend to stay on top of theirs! Go with a friend or relative if they're sorta anxious about going by themselves. Schedule an appointment the same week or day with a friend to keep each other accountable. Once you get into the routine, it's completely doable.

They do a very comprehensive assessment of your vehicle, and I can always feel the difference in my vehicle after my repairs are done. They're very transparent, and do a good job of taking care of their customers by doing jobs well and in a timely manner. I think their warranty on certain parts and services is also great. They really take time to make sure the issue is resolved even after they install the new part. Brennan has taken care of me the past 2-3 of times at craftsman. I really trust these guys and will continue to use craftsman (in merrifield) as my mechanic for the future.

5.0 Stars Outstanding experience and great customer service…read more Yelp brought me here. I did a search for the top auto repair shops in my area and Craftsman was well on the list. Reviews were solid. Once I realized how close I was to two of their locations, I made a mental note to check it out. I called, they were welcoming over the phone and not in a spazzy rush like some of the other shops I had been calling around to. They took their time over the phone!!! I made an appointment to get some estimates, showed up, told them my concerns, and they checked out a few things going on with my car. Again, very welcoming in person as well. I came to get an estimate for front and rear brakes replacements, possible oil change, state inspection. As I waited, I skimmed through two books the owner had written! They said I could have a copy, so kept one. The owner has the right idea and it shows. The waiting area was cozy and super chill equipped with coffee and snacks and TV. What took the service over the top was how well the gentleman took to physically show me what was going on with my car. He also took pictures. In the front office we examined the photos and he explained, and educated me about what was going on and what needed attention and why it was relevant. He made additional recommendations based on car mileage and manufacturer recommended maintenance. We discussed pricing and I agreed to get some of the work done. They gave me a Lyft ride home. Called me when it was done a few hours later. Scheduled a Lyft for me to return. Back at the auto shop, I paid and I was on my way. I felt really impressed because they explained things about my car I had never known about in the 5 years of owning it. I felt educated and walked away understanding things better. In all the 20 years I've maintained cars, no shop has ever explained things to me the way they did. I must admit, I felt the labor fees were a bit steep. I felt my wallet go ouch! However, I feel extremely safe in my vehicle because of everything I learned. I will definitely, without a doubt return for future maintenance work and I will knock out some of the other recommended maintenance items in the near future. Highly recommend. Great experience without a single hiccup.

I arrived on time, but was not seen by the optomologist until 20 minutes after my appointment time. I also noticed that this location offers fewer eye services than the Vienna location - for example, they did not check for color blindness. They do offer some supplemental checks like glaucoma but it costs extra. I was not offered the option to check for color blindness. On a positive note, the optomologist herself seemed thorough, and I was happy with her educational credentials. I'd say this place is "fine" but given the 2 options, I'll be going to the Mr. Eye Dr. on Maple in Vienna next time.

I chose INOVA for my diagnostic care because of its strong reputation for medical excellence…read morethroughout the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. The physicians and clinical staff involved in my care were professional, and I appreciate the quality of the diagnostic services I received while being evaluated for a serious cancer concern. Unfortunately, my experience with INOVA's financial assistance process has been very disappointing. I underwent multiple medically necessary diagnostic procedures, including imaging, a bone biopsy, a liver biopsy, and surgeries. Throughout the process, I paid every required copay and covered a significant portion of the out-of-pocket expenses related to my care. The only remaining balance is approximately $1,790. Despite demonstrating financial hardship, my financial assistance application was denied solely because I do not live in Virginia. What makes this particularly concerning is that my insurance provided by my Virginia employer was accepted without issue, and I have worked in Virginia for many decades. My care was approved, my insurance was billed, and services were provided but when I requested assistance for the remaining balance, my residential address became the deciding factor. In the DMV region, many patients live in one state and work or receive care in another. Policies that exclude patients from financial assistance based strictly on residency, particularly after care has already been provided, can feel inconsistent with the compassionate, community-focused mission that nonprofit health systems promote. I am sharing this experience in hopes that INOVA leadership reviews how these policies are applied. Patients facing serious medical concerns should not feel discouraged from seeking care within the regional healthcare system due to rigid administrative barriers. I still appreciate the clinical care I received, but I sincerely hope INOVA will reconsider how financial assistance eligibility is evaluated for patients who live and work within the same regional community it serves.

About 10 minutes after trying unsuccessfully to get help from the virtual assistant, I am transferred to a human, but this human is in a Call Center and is not in my doctor's office. I have been hospitalized in an Inova hospital about 6 times in the last two years. Each hospital visit has been a miserable experience, in part, because they insist on waking me up at 6:00 am despite my repeated requests to let me sleep until 7:00 am. It is often the case that multiple people with different purposes appear at the same time while I am in the hospital. For example, at about the same time one person wants to check my blood pressure and my oxygen level, another person wants to give me oral medications, a third person wants to give me intravenous antibiotics, a fourth person wants to give me a breathing treatment to relieve my shortness of breath, a fifth person delivers my breakfast, which is cold at the time of delivery, and a sixth person (a medical doctor) also comes to my hospital room.
